I'm like one of those weird lumpy potatoes that looks okay at first but u get a closer look at it and then u realize it's like all deformed and stuff
and yes laughing at yourself is a big mood. I wore a dead inside shirt to school the first day I was back from a weeklong trip and I had so many people have weird reactions it was great

My teacher emailed my parents because she was concerned about how much I joked about relating to Victor Frankenstein and the jokes I was making about myself (namely: I relate to Victor because I too could mess up my life by making one bad choice. I do it all the time!) and then my parents had the 'good and bad role models' talk with me and were all like "No have good role models like Rey" and I was like "yes but I like Victor I don't look up to him he's just a good protagonist"
