HONESTLY MYTHOLOGIES/RELIGIONS DON'T GET ENOUGH ATTENTION IN WORLDBUILDING unless the book literally centers around mythology, eg percy jackson but SPACE MYTHOLOGY IS WHERE IT'S AT

Also imagine the afterlife in a mythology/religion like that. Do the souls just go and roam the cosmos? do they become a star? or does a star die every time a character/follower of the religion die?

since the universe is always in balance, for every star that dies is a new one born?

HOW DOES THAT GO ALONG WITH HEROES/LEGACIES AND GODS AND FADING BELIEF
