two, how do I dress masculine? I'm more struggling in the pants-wise department with this one I think but advice for overall outfits would also be appreciated lol

you could try baggier pants or get pants from the mens section
personally, i like to wear these high waisted straight leg jeans and i think they look pretty masculine

@croccin-champagne

hello I somehow forgot about this forum during my ongoing fashion crisis and randomly remembered it existed right now while I'm supposed to be writing an essay so here we goooooo
I have aha several things and any advice would be welcomed

sooooo first things first
I have this black pleated skirt that goes to about mid-thigh and I love it but I have absolutely no idea what to really wear with it

button ups, tank tops and cardigans, sweaters(tucked or untucked), graphic tees/tanks if you REALLY want to fuck around

shop in the mens department, thats half the battle. mens clothes speak for themselves ddhhd. but also wear things that are baggier in the leg, belts, no more form fitting jeans unless you know how to rock the twink/fuckboy look. instead of tucking your shirts in all the way, half tuck them. the easiest masc outfit ever is mens jeans/capris, a tank top(mens or womens), and a hawaiian shirt or flannel.

and last but not least, I kind of want to dress more alt (I'm leaning towards the grunge aesthetic) and just howwwww

graphic tees are your friend. distressed clothing, flannels, and remember that black goes with everything. red is a good color here. so is grey. wear beat up tennis shoes and chunky boots and do corded necklaces instead of chains. your chains are gonna look more alt if theyre on your pants. everyone deserves a pair of black jean shorts

aaaaaaa thank you for everybody's time, any help is greatly appreciated lol

if you have any button downs, you can tuck it into the skirt and it's usually really cute. i have a few pictures of myself doing smth like that and i can send the to you over insta, if you want.

Prime, foundation, then add green color corrector to lessen redness and concealer a little lighter than your foundation.
At least, that's how I've been doing it.

@croccin-champagne

yeah bec is right! knowing how to utilize colored concealers is really useful tbh. also if you ever want it, down to drop my cleansing routine!!

@Pickles group

Honestly the color ends up being fine but the way the foundation sits on my skin is Not Right and I know it's not the foundation because it's fine on the rest of my skin

@croccin-champagne

oh id try exfoliating better and making sure to moisturize. heavy duty exfoliate the night before you're planning on wearing makeup. my skin gets really oily but also flakey so I have to do that before putting foundation or concealer on

@croccin-champagne

you put it on before the rest of your makeup! it helps keep foundation and things even and on for a while. it might take a while to find one that actually works really well for your skin, but once you do you'll definitely notice.

@croccin-champagne

uuuhhh okay so much favorite shit is witch hazel and cotton balls. but you can use exfoliating wipes(available in your local beauty aisle) or even foaming exfoliaters, depending on your skin and what you want to use.

exfoliating is super crucial to clean and healthy skin. it gets rid of built up dead stuff and icky stuff, clears out your pores, and kicks dead skin off your face. you should always moisturize after exfoliating though. and make sure to get a good moisturizer for your skin. if you've got oily skin, don't get one for dry skin. you'll get more oils. if you're prone to upset skin after exfoliating, a nice soothing daily moisturizer is your best option, to help calm down your skin.

Alright, so this might not be the place to ask, but you seem to frickin' know your stuff so lemme just—

Got any tips for looking older when you're almost 20 but look like a dang child? Okay, okay. Not a child. But people always think I'm like 13-16, and while I'm thankful for having a youthful appearance and all that jive, it's really irksome. Do you know of some appearance tips that might help me look closer to my age? If you need more details I can describe my appearance to maybe help you get a better idea. This is kind of an odd and probably more difficult question.

@moss

im no professional but i think eyeliner really helps
i see a lot of younger people wear it and it really ages them up

@Becfromthedead group

Oh god, that's a mood.
Makeup really does age you up a bit.
But also, the right haircut can do wonders.
I had the same problem for a while, but I cut off all my hair pretty much, got a good style, and now I look my age.

@Ziggy-loves-Shiggy

I've never worn any makeup in my entire life. I also don't have a very feminine dress style at all, and I don't like to show a lot of skin, so I'm just kinda… stuck looking like a thirteen year old when bro I'm in college—

As for haircuts, I didn't really think of that. I'm not sure what style would help me necessarily, but I might be able to think of something. I'm worried I'd regret it if I cut it all off.

@Becfromthedead group

That's a mood lmao
I don't usually wear makeup myself either, so I feel that.
Also you could always do some sort of bangs or face-framing layers. That stuff can make a big difference too.
