Hmm. Nice wall. I sort of get where you're going with this, but your essence isn't exactly Christian. I'll just quote your thing.

also HELLO it’s been a hot minute!! to answer your question, dom:
Maccabees? Like the book of the Bible?? Also not to get on your backs or anything, but how are you Christian if you don't know the basics of the Bible?
because being a christian is not all about the bible??
I very much agree. But it also isn't about what you want or think. It's about what is true and has been passed down to us through the Bible and tradition. (Though most Protestants have forgotten all about Tradition these days.)
at least not for me. because i agree with the concept of christianity more than what Those Christians interpret the bible to mean now.
because christianity is supposed to be about loving everyone and accepting everyone no matter what they look like or what they believe in or who they love.
Well it's true that the Bible can be interpreted many different ways. (That's why we need the tradition.) But there are some things that you are not going to like in the Bible and you're going to have to deal. It's about what is truth, not what we like. Jesus will never be the most popular guy. He's radical in his ideas in all times.
We must love everyone. Not so much accept anyone. We do not accept everyone. We love them and hope they "turn from their wickedness and live." There are things that God has decreed to be sins. Many of which I understand. Some of which I don't. But it's not about what I think is right. If that was the case, no one would need God or religion.to be completely honest i’m starting to question whether i even want to be christian?? because if other christians are saying that the bible says gay=bad, if they’re saying that non-white people=bad, if they’re saying non-christian people=bad and that that’s what christianity is? then i want nothing to do with it.
Well the Bible does say gay is sin. Not the other things you mentioned though. But not to be harsh here, but you're looking at it wrong. It's not about you. It's not so much about God being on your side as it is are you on His or not. We are supposed to love all. But that doesn't mean we can be okay with sins. (Though that means all sins. to be fair, though we should be loving to the sinner.) Homosexuality is as bad a sin as both lying and adultery. Not the worst. But not something to make light of.and they’re like “well the bible says this—“ can we just shut up about the bible for a sec? your english king james edition is not the original version of the bible. there are many words and phrases in the original hebrew texts that have been lost in translation or misinterpreted. there are words that meant something completely different when they were written than they do now.
And that is true. But it is still mostly intact. Work on better translations, sure. But you can't just throw out something so monumentally important to our faith.can we just take a minute to remember what god intended for christianity to mean?
And what is that? Wouldn't it be to become a better follower of Jesus's commandments so that we are better people that can do good for the world?
(starts clapping wildly)
(Why… thank you Pyro. I didn't think my statement would be one that would be liked.)
(What kind of Christian are you?)
(I dunno. My family is Protestant, but other than that, I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out for myself what denomination I believe in, but… yeah.)
(Cool. You wanna hit my PMs up for a religion chat I'm totally down for it.)
(Alright! I will totally do that once my eyes stop trying to glue themselves shut.)
(Lol I feel.)
that’s fair, there’s just one thing that i am a little iffy about. let me quote it real quick

you know, dom, i think this is one subject where we will just have to agree to disagree. clearly there is nothing i can do to change your mind, and i don’t have the energy to debate on it. i can’t make you open your mind, but you know what, that’s okay, because i’m not going to change my morals based on what some dude on the internet thinks.
think i might unfollow this chat anyway because i don’t want to have my vision of you all marred by what you believe is a sin. i’d rather not lose any of the few friendships i have.
@The-Althalosian-lsNotLikeOtherSquirrels
Can I just say, although we disagree on a few points, as a fellow Christian I am SO PROUD rn, preach dude

Well thanks dude.
I guess church was cancelled too. Huh
this probably means the church dinners with that h e a v e n l y potato soup will be cancelled as well
I guess church was cancelled too. Huh
Whoa.
So we did it online and no one bothered to tell me until it was already partway through
We did it that way too because the Catholics didn't hold church.
It was decent. The sermon was on the thing about Our heavenly father feeding the birds of the air.
Something that was also noted was that preparedness was prudence. And that panic is a reaction to fear.
And also that with all the worrying we cannot add one roll of toilet paper to our lives
Hello! Nice to meet fellow Christians! Out of curiosity, what denomination are all y'all in? I'm Protestant!
I'm non-denominational!
Wazzup mate. I'm super argumentative, religion being no different. But hey we're all children of the lord amiright?
I personally believe homosexuality is sinful, but I'm not going to view you as any less of a person for it.
I believe it is a sin too. But we as Christians are supposed to love everyone and God loves everyone and will forgive you of that sin if you are a true Christian. So I'm against it, but I would never discriminate against anyone for it.
@Althalosian-isTerrifyingWalnutDeathDemon
Hey! I'm a lot like that too, although I'm trying to work on it. And you're right. I'm new here, so still trying to figure out what people are like and trying to figure out how things work.

Ey same. Though I would also add that forgiveness comes when we repent.
