What's the most interesting/fun piece of music your band has played?

Emmaleigh

My band director says I'm probably the first euphonium player for our band that he's had in all his years of directing at our school to play bass clef. Is it more common to be a treble clef baritone?

Emmaleigh

Wow we are a really small school so there are only two of us euphoniums, but the other one is a Senior this year so I will be the only one until I'm a Senior I'm pretty sure. That year's freshman class is the only class next with another euphonium, and she might even quit before then.

Our school isn't really that small, but we only have 3 actual baritones. All of them march, but only one is in concert band. We literally have a tuba (who's graduating), a trombone (me), and one baritone in class right now.
Also, @Emmaleigh, my section leader my first year marching read treble clef instead of bass. I think it was because he started out on trumpet, and it was easier for him to read treble.

@CharBar

"> For me, it has to be The Great Locomotive Chase by Robert W. Smith"
aaaayyy that is a fun song
also I play baritone in bass clef, and in total, we have three baritones in our band, two bass clef, and one treble clef

@CassNotCas

Emmaleigh said she's a small school and only has two euphonium, but my tiny little school hasnt had a euphonium in years. we dont have any baritone players in the ms or hs but the es has a few. we do have a tuba, though. all of the baritone players read bass clef

@Relsey
Congratulations!!
What exactly is honours band? We don't have that at my school.

@Relsey-TheElder

They take students from several schools and they all audition for spots it's like Advanced band but for multiple schools so every school in your county has the chance to send kids to the audition
