Ours is two weeks long this but that's only because we have a LOT of freshmen coming in for next year who have no idea what they're doing and we have a lot to teach them XD and the freshmen aren't there all day, only in the morning. We are there ALL day, literally. From 9-12, 1-4, and 6-8 everyday XD
Yeah, just in the trumpet section alone, we're getting 15 new freshmen trumpets…
I am so sorry, We're getting 10 new saxophone's
That's quite a few, have fun with your new "saxy" frens XD
Hello my flute fren!! Welcome to the band room!! It's the place to be!!
Ya Flutes be the best ….. Unless we are out of tune…………. Flutes almost never the best but we the best
Yeah, just in the trumpet section alone, we're getting 15 new freshmen trumpets…
we don't even have 15 freshmen total coming….only 13 i think.
And I literally have nine people in my band
That was me last year, some people just weren't blessed with a large group of dorks to call a band.
I'm okay with it though, we all love eachother
Band is a family no matter how big or small it is. We fight a lot, but in the end, we'd stick up for any of it's members if they needed it. We all support each other most of the time
I'm just gonna but in and say that yes, band kids are tougher than football players. Especially obvious during marches.
I'm a trombonist, by the way
Right!! The football players at my school were complaining that they had to go to school from 8-10 every week day in the summer even though they're going to be there before it starts to get really hot. The band is going to be there all day for 2 weeks and then we're going to be outside for 2 hours every morning before school starts to continue learning and perfecting our show. We definitely work harder than they do XD
Oh definitely! Since I'm new, may I ask what instrument you play?
I'm a trumpet mainly but I also can play a few other brass instruments (just not very well XD), piano, and guitar, but that's it XD
Dang! Nice! I can play a bit of piano by sound, some guitar, ukulele, friggin' xylophone, recorder (thanks grade 3) and I played violin for 3 years but I still can't read treble clef whoops
Meh, I still have trouble reading base clef so it's okay :P XD
For me its percussion 4 life
Lol I can ONLY read bass clef
