(Umm… Is that an ok starter or should I try again?)
(Its good!)
Currently the two were at home, curled up in each others grasp as they usually were. Nyt was running her fingers though Abby's hair, her tail wrapped lasily around Abby's midsection. She was humming a slow Sylvian tune. The tune dipped from high notes to low notes and made the room feel calm.
(Yay.)
Abby smiled happily at Nyt playing with her hair and the soothing melody. She closed her eyes and nuzzled closer. After all the political stuff they had to go through to establish the start of peace between their two species, the blonde human was glad to be home… with Nyt. She let out a soft sigh.
Nyt pulled her a bit closer before sighing. "Abby?" Nyt spoke up. "What are we?" She asked, curious. She wasn't sure if she was friends or more.
Abby shifted comfortably as Nyt held her closer. ”Hmm?” she opened her eyes, looking up at the tall alien. ”What do you mean?” she asked with a faint blush on her cheeks.
"Are we friends or are we partners?" Nyt asked as she looked down at her, moving a loose strand of hair out of Abby's face.
Abby’s blush darkened at the gesture but didn't move yet. She did like Nyt and the blonde remembered when the other had slipped up and called her ”love”. The thought alone caused her face to flare up more. Green eyes met violet as she spoke. ”Do you want to be?”
"Do you?" Nyt asked back, not wanting Abby to say yes because of her decision. She did want to be with Abby. She had never felt this way with another Sylvan and she enjoyed spending time wit her.
Before she met Nyt, Abby hadn’t even given much thought to a relationship with anyone. But now… No one else made her feel the way she did. She carefully sat up a little and placed her hand against Nyt’s cheek. ”I’m willing to try it if you are.” she told her.
Nyt smiled the widest she had smiled in a while and her tail started to flick about. "I'd be willing to try if you want to." She said, trying to hold back her excitement. She was so happy.
Abby smiled happily back and nodded. "I'd like that. I'd like that very much." She admitted eagerly, leaning up a little closer. The thought of kissing Nyt crossing her mind and making her blush.
Nyt giggled and kissed her lightly on the forehead. "I-I'd like it too!" She said, smiling from ear to ear with excitement. "I love you, Abby."
Abby's whole face was red now. ”I love you too, Nyt.” she smiled back, kissing her girlfriend’s cheek.
Nyt held onto Abby, happy that she had asked her. "Do you know how long I have wanted to do that?" She asked as she pressed her forehead against Abby's.
Abby shook her head softly but didn't pull away from the gesture. ”No. How long?” she asked smiling as she wrapped her arms around Nyt.
Nyt looked into her eyes. "Since we went to the capital, maybe a bit before that. I really like you and I wasn't sure if you liked me back." She muttered softly.
Abby smiled back and reached her hand up to Nyt’s ear. ”Where you first called me love. I think I started to like you a little bit before we went there.” she told her.
Nyt smiled. "I always knew there was something special about you. When we first met I was in complete awe. Not just because you were human, but because you were breathtakingly beautiful." She said softly as her hand reached up to cup Abby's cheek.
Abby blushed brightly at the compliment. ”Nyt!” she laughed bashfully. ”I… I'm not that good-looking. Cute, probably but breathtaking?” she shook her head. ”If anything you’re the amazing one. I’ll admit I was mostly scared of you at first, but I thought your violet eyes were absolutely beautiful.”
Nyt smiled a bit brighter. "How could you not be breath taking? You small, adorable, pretty and everything I every looked for, literally and figuratively." She explained as she rubbed Abby's blush with her thumb.
Abby's blush darkened and she buried her face against Nyt’s neck to hide. ”I was never interested in anyone before I met you… And I know no one at camp was interested in me.” she admitted. ”Now I don't think I can picture myself with anyone else.”
"I can't imagine you or me with anyone else." Nyt chuckled. "Never in a million years would I believe that I would find, let alone fall in love with a human." She said wrapping her arms around Abby.
Abby giggled a little and nuzzled closer into the hug. ”And I never thought I would fall for a Slyvian.” she smiled, enjoying the feeling of being held like this.
Nyt smiled. "Because we were the scary conquerors of the earth?" She joked as she squeezed Abby a bit tighter for a moment before relaxing again.
Abby bit her lip in embarrassment at the description but nodded briefly. ”Yeah… That's part of why.” she admitted softly. ”The other was I never thought I would get close enough to meet, let alone see, someone so eye catching.” she smiled, looking back up at Nyt.
