Abby chuckled and nuzzled against Nyt's neck. ”Hey…” she started, feeling like she should say something but the words kept dying on her tongue. She sighed as she gave up on whatever phrase she was struggling with. She made herself pull back and brought her hand away from her ear. ”As much as I would rather stay like this, we should probably get going.”
Nyt tilted her head a bit when Abby seemed to stumble over her words but kept quiet. ”Probably. We should check on Adar and Caleb too.” She said as she rubbed the back of her head a bit.
Abby nodded with a faint blush. ”Hopefully they remembered the meeting. Unlike me.” she chuckled awkwardly.
"Probably. Adar is pretty good at remembering things." She said before sitting down, waiting for Abby to get dressed.
Abby sat next to Nyt as she slipped on her shoes and the jacket for the meeting. ”That’s good. Unless Caleb distracted him.” she chuckled teasingly. ”Are you ready?”
(Aaahhh!!!! Im sorry! Im so busy. I have a game tonight and two competitions tomorrow so I may not be on much the next few days and if so it wont be for long.)
Nyt laughed. "He does get distracted pretty easily too. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised it they slept the whole day." She chuckled.
(oof. That's a lot. Good luck.)
Abby nodded in agreement, laughing with her. ”We should check on them before we're all late. Caleb’s not really an early bird but it's a lot easier to sleep in now.” she smiled.
Nyt laughed. "Yeah. We should." She said, as she walked to the door and opened. She walked across the hall and knocked on the door. No answer.
Abby raised a brow slightly at the lack of response from the guys and knocked a little harder. ”Hey, guys. Are you almost ready in there? We got another meeting to get to.”
"Coming!" Caleb yelled. There was a bit of snuffling. "Adar! Don't open the door! I'm getting changed.!" Caleb yelled.
Nyt snickered. "Well hurry up you too! We have to go soon!" She yelled.
Abby laughed. ”I hope you guys just overslept.” she teased as she leaned against the wall near the door.
"What else would we of done?" Adar, asked innocently.
"Don't answer that!" Caleb yelled afterwards.
Abby immediately burst out laughing at both responses. She almost couldn't believe how much of a cinnamon roll Adar actually was. ”Oh my God! You guys are… J-just hurry up.” she managed to tell them through her laughter.
Nyt was in about the same state as Abby, crouched over laughing. "A-Are you ready to go?" Nyt asked, still trying to catch her breath.
"Got it!" Caleb yelled back.
Abby managed to calm down a little and her laughter receded to breathy giggles. ”Oh, man. That was priceless.” she smiled and wiped a stray tear from her eyes.
Nyt nodded rapidly. "Yeah!" She said before knocking again. "Are you two alright now?" She asked, a wolfish grin on her face.
”I'm sure they’ll come out red-faced and gray-eared.” Abby smirked as she straightened out her jacket.
Caleb opened the door, as he slipped on his jacket. His face looked like it was going to over heat. Adar walked out with his ears only slightly grey but a very confused looked on his face. ”What just happened?” He asked.
Abby smirked giving Nyt a ”called it” look. ”Don’t worry about it, Adar. But we should get going. The meeting is supposed to start soon.” she reminded all of them.
Nyt nodded, though still partially supressing laughter.
Caleb looked at the ground as he buttoned up his jacket. "Yeah. Let's go." He's aid quickly, still flustered.
Abby couldn't resist ruffling Caleb’s hair as she walked past him heading towards the room where the meeting was supposed to be. ”Anyone remember what this one is about?”
Nyt laughed at Abby's forgetfulness. "They are deciding on peace. Remember?" She said, placing her hand on Abby's shoulder.
Abby smiled at Nyt and placed her hand on top of Nyt’s. ”I remember that. It just feels like we've been to so many for that recently… I was just wondering if there was anything specific about that topic that they were going to bring up this time.” she explained.
Nyt shrugged. "Not that I know of. But don't worry. I'm sure that we did it." She said giving her a gentle smile.
