“Who?” Zephen asked, intrigued
“Who?” Zephen asked, intrigued
Riverpaw hummed, looking away. Her friends from the forest do the same thing, and she still doesn't understand why people get so interested when she talks about it. "U-um..t-two fauns from my forest." She said quietly.
(What happened I missed a lot)
“Two? Nice. I your guys stay happy! I used to have someone special….” Zephen trailed off, memories flooding back.
(DUDES WHAT HAPPENED)
(lol, Riverpaw freaked out and she, Zephen and Calix went back to the tavern)
Riverpaw tilted her head at Zephen. "What happened?"
Nellie sat down next to Zephen.
She was a spy and the king figured it out. He ordered me to Kill her. I couldn’t, we were in love. I told her to run away. Go into hiding. She did, I told the king she was dead. I killed the king a month later
"Oh…I-I'm sorry.." Riverpaw looked down at the cup, and Tsunami nudged Zephen comfortingly.
Nellie put her hand on Zephen's shoulder.
Calix came out of the back room and noticed Nellie was there now. "do you want anything to drink?"
(Whoops! Forgot the “” sorry!)
Nellie nodded, saying, "the same as this morning."
“Thank you. I didn’t mean to make everyone sad.”
"Sure." he gave her the same thing from the morning.
"I'm always sad." Riverpaw shrugged. "I-I just distract myself with guardian duties and animals."
“Oh. I’m sorry. Nellie! You’re back!”
"And it is almost midnight."
“Crap! It’s late!”
"Yeah, so I kinda want to go to sleep."
Riverpaw stood up and slid her now empty cup to the other side of the bar. "Y-yeah, Tsuna, we should go home." Tsunami made a disappointed sound, looking over at Zephen.
“Goodnight!” Zephen called
He grabbed the cup and washed it.
"Goodnight." Riverpaw said over her shoulder, climbing up to Tsunami's back as they left the tavern. Tsunami glanced back at Riverpaw, who sighed. "Yeah, yeah, we can come back." Tsunami yipped happily and bolted towards the forest, getting a surprised yelp from Riverpaw.
(I think we need a conflict/climax/problem)
