"He stopped by for a minute but had to get back to work." he held the stuffed animal in his hand.

“Too bad! I wanted to meet him!”

"By me of course." Nim grinned mischievously. "Magic tends to help."
She plopped a stuffed wolf on Riverpaw's head and held her arms out to Zephen "Pick."

“Why thank you!” Zephen said, and picked up a swan with a flourish.

Nellie walked over to a stand and won a prize easily.

“I don’t know about all of you, but I had a fabulous time,” Zephen said, winking at Nim.

Riverpaw giggled, taking the wolf from her head and hugging it. "Thank you." She said as one of the field mice near her foot sniffed at the toy.

"it was better than working."

"Oh? Do tell." Nim smiled and tossed a plastic sword at Nellie's head.

“You’re such a grump, Calix! Maybe you just need a night out….” Zephen said, mischeviouly

"Calix, you square, tell us something fun you did!"

"Oh? Do tell." Nim smiled and tossed a plastic sword at Nellie's head.

“I’ll never! But, I will say there was more than one…” Zephen said

"Maybe i need to die." he said kinda jokingly.

"I ate a ton of food."

“Calix……” Zephen said, serious

"Yeah?"

Riverpaw widened her eyes at Calix, wondering if he was being serious.

Nellie stares Calix down semi-seriously.

“Don’t joke about that. I may be a crazed tragic party girl, but that is too much,”

he rolled his eyes.

“Listen, Calix, I know who it feels to feel hopeless. Why do you think I have so many lovers and drinks. But this is not the answer”

"I am not planning on killing myself." he replied.

“Good! Now ave some fun!”
