Cassie growled in frustration. "How can you possibly think that this is okay? People died, and you're going on about how wonderful your employer is and how they died painlessly? Does it matter if it was painless? They're dead. Most of them probably had families, and now they're never going to see them again, and you're - " she quietly screamed and turned around to lean against a tree.
The woman remained calm, "Yes people did die, I can't deny that, but were the previous government leaders do in there job either, hundred's more would have surrendered and died from starvation and in a much much more painful way then these few died, it is a sacrifice made for the betterment of the country."
(That's some straight up Thanos shit right there XD)
"You keep telling yourself that," Cassie told her, shaking her head. "Gwen, I'm sorry I have to go."

The arrow thing is the alchemy sign for Iron and a raven is Olivia's personal symbol, I think the butterfly's are self explanatory )
(That's some straight up Thanos shit right there XD)
( perhaps the saddest thing is that's the mentality sold to people about war's in real life )
"Cassie!" Gwen cried as the girl turned to leave. "You can't just go! We have to do something! We have to stop this!"
The woman looked at the retreating form of the first girl then to the one who shouted after her, "I'm afraid stopping this isn't an option at this point my dear, when my mistress get's an Idea in her head, she tends to be unstoppable, aided by those two men I'm not sure anyone can do much of anything."
"What are we supposed to do, Gwen? Please, tell me, because these people are literal sociopaths, and I don't think there's anything we can do."
"I don't know!" Gwen was getting increasingly more emotional, almost on the verge of tears. "I don't know what to do! But these people are murderers, we can't just sit back and do nothing! You keep saying there's nothing we can do, and don't you think I don't know that? But we have to try! We're some of the only people in the whole world with powers, and you want to just stand off to the side?! We have to try." Her voice went quiet. "I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't."
As the conversation went on, a white butterfly landed on both Cassie and Gwen.
“Now now… good night…” the butterflies released hypnotic powder which would work within a three minute scope time. The young man who was their owner walked up behind the two girls, holding his index finger to mouth.
Cassie noticed a butterfly and immediately crushed it, blinking heavily despite doing so. "God fucking dammit, I knew this was a bad idea," she mumbled before collapsing, barely conscious.
"Sorry," Gwen murmured, crushing her own before crumpling to the ground alongside Cassie. She strained to keep her eyes open, but it was no use and the last thing she saw was the blurry silhouette of a young man before the world went dark.
Even though the hypnotic powder worked on the girls, they would still be able to hear somethings faintly.
“Brenda—“ the young man called “—can you please make sure that they’re unharmed during the time I’m gone? Even though they are somewhat nuisances to us, it’s better to slowly torture them as we go” he suggested through gritting teeth before spreading his azure colored wings and launched himself into the sky.
Behind him were several guards stacked, all unconscious and motionless, not harmed one bit though.
Brenda nodded as the man flew off she then carefully picked up one of the girls and ordered one of her compainions do the same to the other girl, once they were inside they began to talk, "Are we really going to let them be tortured?"
"You're new Jess, when Olivia hear's torture, what that means is paralyzing them no real pain but definitely not fun, the girls haven't really done much wrong so it wont be too bad for them."
Olivia wasn't surprised to see her woman carry in the girls, "Ah, so they did try to play hero, that's a pity." She lightly brushed her hand over each girls forehead then found a nice plump vain each of the girls, she carefully pumped them full of her paralysis poison, she then saw the bandage on one of the girls hand, she unwrapped it and upon seeing the wound open motion to Brenda, "See to it that this is sewn up, you know the drill." Olivia waved her hand and the woman left with the girls. Olivia sighed, she just hated having to paralyze people, but until she had evidence they were guilty she couldn't very well kill them not while she was trying to set up a countries legal system, she needed a good reputation. The girls would have to be locked up in a tight concrete cell for now, luckily this particular castle had just the thing, not only that but the door would have to have multiple layers so the physic one couldn't just pop them open, and naturally they would be placed in different holding cells as far away from each other as possible. Olivia may be a villain but she wasn't stupid.
(Big oof. Torture is fun, though.)
(It is, but if word get's out that she tortured a supposed innocent over no proof then it will cause an uprising and Olivia's smarter then that)
(Mhm I get it. Argh everything's dead)
Ten minutes passed since andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) arrived at the northern center. Most of the officers were asleep by this point, meaning he had almost a total control of the mountainous region of the country by this point. One last thing remains undone; taking care of the man who runs the region. He opened the door to the man’s office, only to find that the man was gone.
“Checkmate…” a gun barrel touched the back of andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s neck.
(Oof, I'm not sure what to do about that one buddy)
(I’ve got something planned, don’t worry)
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) looked at the pistol with the edge of his eye; acknowledging the fact that it was indeed loaded. He muttered something absolutely inaudible. His body dispersed into hundreds of azure colored butterflies and appeared again behind the man, breaking his neck. The butterflies’ owner knelt down to grab the pistol and kept it inside his coat before walking back down the hall towards the exit where he was going to travel back to the central.
(Well shit man you're over here killing people and apparently my chick can't break through a few layers of metal. Flippin heck gotta love villains)
(Well, let’s see about that real quick)
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) landed beside the central and walked in to the cell where Cassie was in. Apparently no one was near her as she was, after all, a new prisoner. He knocked on her cell door twice.
Cassie fought back the urge to hiss at the door. "Who's come to visit?" She asked loudly.
“andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), the butterfly dude you met three days ago” he introduced knowing damn well that Cassie won’t be happy seeing him in the slightest. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) sighed loudly once.
“Can I talk to you about… something?”
