(Thank you!)
Olivia was taking inventory and found Marco in a closset, "Um, might I ask why the heck you're in here, also you know that andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) guy? He let these two girls out of the prison, my girl told me that they were talking of an uprising against us and he let them go! Stinking butterfly man."
Marco opened his mouth the respond to the butterfly, but stopped when Olivia entered and explained what had happened. He stared at her a second, before his mouth learning to move again, “Excuse me, but what?” Marco rubbed his temple, “How long have I been asleep?” He muttered to himself before beginning to stand, only stumbling a little bit.
She thought for a moment, "I'm not sure like 12 hours? I haven't seen you sent I gave you some of my sleeping darts, wait you didn't…. you put them back in the case like I told you too right?" Olivia asked, she had a sneaking suspicion he hadn't. "Any way Butterfly boy, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) or what ever your face is, Um I'm confused, why did you let them go? They're a threat to out power?"
Marco cautiously opened up his pocket to reveal the case, but the lid had shifted and one of the darts had fallen out. “I must’ve not put it on securely,” Marco muttered, cursing himself. If only he had been awake, it would’ve been infinitely easier to sort things out. He looked to the butterfly, “I’d like some answers on that topic as well,” Marco said to the butterfly. It felt too early for this, even though it was probably midday.
"Well at least we know they work, I wasn't sure if the dose was high enough." Olivia muttered, She crossed her arms waiting for andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s answer, He had hurt her girls, not permanently but it was enough to make the woman extremely upset.
The voice that originated from the butterfly sighed.
“Alright alright” he accepted.
“Ever heard of the term ‘false sense of security’?” he asked plainly.
“With my actions done, they’d think I’m on their side which would give you two a better chance of attacking them when the time comes” he added before he went silent, waiting for a response from either one of the two comrades of his or potentially both.
“And Olivia, regarding your girls, I do apologize. Though the hypnotic powder I used on them were not as harmful as the ones I used on the ‘hero wannabe’ girls” he quickly brought up.
Olivia signaled to Marco that they should talk about this latter with out the green butterfly before she spoke, "I can see your point but we have still lost an advantage, for now you're crime against my girls is forgiven, but I would suggest you refrain from harming them from now on."
“Understood” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) replied confidently.
“I’ll be heading there now, fifteen minutes should be ideal…” he added before sounds of footsteps can be heard, most likely andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s.
Marco pondered over andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s words for a little bit. His plan made sense, and though if Marco had been awake he would’ve suggested just to kill the girls and get it over with, they were still in a good position of power. “It might cause some trouble down the road, but for now… it’s okay.” After nearing the other two girls weren’t messing around… they’d have to plan accordingly. He nodded to Olivia to let her know that he saw her signal. They would definitely need to talk later.
From the butterfly, sounds of wind blowing can be heard. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) was most likely in the skies now.
“By the way, there’s another reason I wanted the girls to be free, though I think I can talk about that once I arrive” he managed to squeeze out pass the fast winds hitting him.
(I'm just imagining what that signal would be they're all quite comical)
(I just keep imagining Olivia flipping someone off… I don’t know why…)
(Probably because she definitely would right before stabbing them with her nails, the she would give them a peck on the lips and then they would die)
(Remind me not to have andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) piss her off)
(Ha lol)
“That sounds great,” Marco told the butterfly before setting it down and nodding towards Olivia then the hallway. He could leave the butterfly in the closet for a few moments so they could talk.
Olivia fallowed Marco to the hall way, after the door was snuggle shut and they had moved away from it a few paces she began to speak, " Are we going to trust him?"
Marco thought it over in his head, weighing his options. “For now… I think we should hear him out. Trust him for now, but if he makes another mistake…” Marco trailed off quietly. As much as he wanted to trust andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), he knew that he needed to keep an eye on him. And always have a weapon. It would be a lot harder if they had to fight against those two girls and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), but they’d have to make do with the situation.
Olivia hesitated but eventually nodded once in agreement, "Very well, I will let him be until he proves what side he's on." She Turned back down the hall, them paused studing the wall, "I do believe we'll need a flag for out new order, and I just might have an Idea…" She continnued down the haal this time with purpose and turned the corner out of sight. (I just wanted an origin for the flag not just, it popped out if the ground like daises, you know)
"Er, I just… squished them?" Cassie told her, uncomfortable with the praise. "It really wasn't all that amazing. Just killing a few butterflies."
"Either way you just saved that whole town." Gwen pointed in the direction of the town, which was the direction they were walking. "And you say you're bad at this hero thing," she teased, grinning. "For the record I think you're a great hero, even if you don't think so yourself."
Cassie gave a small smile, though she disagreed. "Thanks, I suppose."
"You're welcome," Gwen responded, satisfied that she had caused her friend (were they friends? Gwen hoped so. She really liked Cassie, and she hoped the girl felt the same about her) to smile, even if it was small. "So anyway, what do we do now?"
(Something to do you say…?)
Small red butterflies flew down from the sky to a small town by the plains. When people touched they, they seemed to make them… hostile. People started tearing things apart, breaking furniture, fighting against each other, the list of violent acts go on.
From the skies, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) can be seen gliding down towards the central, flipping once before landing.
Marco shook his head to himself. He hoped andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) had a good excuse, he was a useful ally. Marco telekinetically shed his armor, opening the closet door to store it there for now. He grabbed the green butterfly while he was at it. Marco would need to go to the Eastern sector too, but he’d rather wait to talk with butterfly boy. Maybe he’d end up sending some of his servants in his place instead.
Landing in front of the gates, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) excused himself into the areas of the central. Meeting the eyes of an unconscious guard, he shrugged and just walked into the building in front of him.
Marco looked to the green butterfly, “You almost here?” He asked, leaning on a wall. He tapped his fingers against his knee as he waited.
