"Doesn't seem like I really have a choice, does it?" Cassie said savagely, pacing in the tiny room.
"Doesn't seem like I really have a choice, does it?" Cassie said savagely, pacing in the tiny room.
“I’m really not into this whole new authority thing, I’m not. I’ve got no interest in taking over countries or whatever, I just want to find someone in particular and by accepting that man’s offer, that’s probably my best bet in finding him…” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) sighed as he finished the statement. He had a green butterfly beside him to which he sent into the room.
“Touch the butterfly, I’ll take you out of this disgusting cell…”
Cassie crossed her arms. "I'd literally rather die."
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) smiled ruefully outside the cell.
“Somehow I knew you were gonna say that…” the butterfly flew to touch Cassie itself. When it did reach her, Cassius appeared again outside the cell. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) didn’t say a word, rather he just had the butterfly land on his shoulder and walked away, presumably back where the other villains were.
"Hey, what the hell," Cassie spat. "I'm not going to do anything for you." She crushed the butterfly on his shoulder out of pure spite.
“I’m not saying I want you to do anything. I just don’t want innocents like you to get hurt for doing nothing wrong. Honestly though…” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) looked at a small jewel he had in his hand “…it’s hard…” he sighed.
“I know you don’t trust me, and you have a good reason not to. I’m just saying that I’ll try my best not to hurt anyone of you for whatever reason or situation comes my way” he claimed, setting the jewel back inside his jacket’s pocket.
"I literally don't care at all," Cassie growled. "Put me back in the fucking cell, I'm not going anywhere with you, you burning piece of shit."
“Since when did I ask you to follow me?” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) asked, raising a brow.
"Okay, well, what the hell am I supposed to do? Did you let Gwen out? Why did you do this anyway? It doesn't make any sense," she said frustratedly.
“As for the other girl down the hall, I was going to go get her before you came and decided to talk to me. I’ll say this much, I’m not on your side nor am I against you, I’m on my own side, I choose what I do” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) explained confidently.
"That doesn't - that's not - " Cassie broke off with a frustrated sigh. "I don't know how to get out of here."
“The exit’s down that side of the hall” he pointed to behind Cassie. “There were active guards by the door which I have already taken care off the same way I did with you earlier” he explained with a smile.
“Hopefully I’ll see you outside” he ended before walking down the other side of the hall where Gwen was.
Cassie crossed her arms and walked outside, muttering to herself. "Stupid villains… mind games… probably just some new form of torture…."
Surprising enough, everything andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) said about guards being unconscious and the exit being there was true.
On the other hand, the butterfly manipulator arrived at the cell where Gwen was. Like Cassie’s case, he knocked on the door gently twice.
"Who's there?" Gwen called sharply. "I swear if you're that crazy lady here to pump more things into me than I'd rather die in this cell thank you."
“…quite an aggressive greetings there…” the man outside muttered out loud to himself.
“I’m andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), the butterfly dude that put you to sleep earlier and as weird as it sounds, I’m here to get you out”
"Why should I believe you?" Gwen growled. "You put me to sleep, and then the crazy poison lady injected me and then I was paralyzed. Why the hell would I listen to anything you say?!"
“Uh… alright, good reason… though I did free that friend of yours down the other side of the hall, don’t know her name though” he claimed confidently.
Gwen faltered. “You freed Cassie?”
“T-The girl with the telekinesis ability, so she’s Cassie huh?” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) tapped his chin.
“Yeah” he responded.
(Well Olivia is feeling double crossed)
Olivia's girls happened to be on patrol in that part of the building and upon finding they're passed out comrades, quickly replaced them with members of their own part, they pulled up their masks and stood guard. The other members of the party took their fallen comrades to Olivia, who used her antidote to heal them.
Olivia watched as two of her girl's eye's flickered open, "Girls what happened." Her voice took on a gentle tone as it always did when she talked to her girls.
"Butterfly's." Is all one of her girls managed to say before passing out again, the other fallowed suit, It appeared that even her own antidotes didn't last for long against andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s hypnotic powder, not in a small increment anyway. "Take these girls to the nearest room you find, make sure they're comfortable, I have a bug to catch."
(Well sh—… this… can’t end good for andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), can it? Well, I say that but andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) was probably expecting it)
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) cursed under his breath when one of his white butterflies flew back to him. He had to cut the conversation with Gwen and dispersed into hundreds of azure butterflies, appearing again near the northern forest. He flew as fast as he could to the northern center where he had taken authority of.
As soon as he arrived, he contacted Marco using the green butterfly he gave him.
“Hey, can your hear me?”
(Aww you're not going to team up against my baby are you)
(Not a team up, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s just trying to survive XD)
The butterfly man’s voice cut off, and Gwen heard the quiet flapping of hundreds of wings before all was silent once again. She cursed under her breath, something she only did when she was really mad. She had been so close to getting answers and now he was gone. She started pacing, thinking about what he had said. Cassie was free. That was something, right? She had to trust that however much Cassie didn’t want to help, she would do something. Anything.
