“Hmmm, I like that idea,” Marco nodded, “Do you have people you trust to do the job? If not, I could send some of my servants.” Marco’s servants, though most looked meek and insignificant, were trained well enough to be able to take on a job like that.
Olivia nodded, "My girls are all extremely loyal to me I took most of them from brothels or unhappy marriages, they basically worship me, but a group of girls traveling alone will look suspicious even if they are well trained for combat. I have no men working for me so if you could send one or two men along with my girls to the kingdoms it should be enough."
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) just listened in silence. He wasn’t really ready to say anything at this point. Though he did have something in mind especially regarding Qisa’s infiltration. He stood up and started walking around. Doing so, his wings spread out and released tiny particles of blue hue.
“That will work perfectly then,” He smiled dashingly, then glanced at andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) as he cut himself another piece of meat from the table. Though Marco may be hell bent on controlling the world, he certainly was intrigued by andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s powers. “What are you doing?” He asked curiously.
Though Olivia was the perfect picture of indifference, she two was curious about the butterfly man's powers, she took a small bite of the food in front of her listening carefully for what he would say.
“Hm? Oh, you’re talking about these right?” He snapped his finger once and the blue particles all gather to make a butterfly.
“That should explain it” the butterfly flew naturally and landed on Marco’s shoulder. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) giggled lightly.
“If you don’t mind, there is a place I need to go before we start with the plan. Well, I guess I can tell you, I need to go get my weapon if that’s alright”
“Aww, cute,” Marco said, looking at the little butterfly before adding, “Oh and of course, I would have to prepare too.” He looked to Olivia as well, “We could meet back here in a few days time, if you’d rather do that. I’d rather we not rush through this and fail consequently,” Marco let out a laugh, his eyes crinkling slightly at the corners.
The blue butterfly flew back to andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) and disintegrated back to blue particles.
“In that case I will now take my leave, if you need me—“ a green butterfly came from andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s hand “—squeeze this butterfly to call me” the butterfly landed on the table, in front of Olivia.
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) started to walk out of the room, waving at the servants and told them that they didn’t have to bow every time he walked pass as he feels a little uncomfortable with the actions they were preforming.
“Lovely, ta ta until later,” Marco waved a hand lazily in the air, then looking to Olivia, “Would you like to prepare yourself, then meet back here three sunrises from now?” He asked casually.
As andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) got outside, he went into the area of trees beside Marco’s palace. He wanted to see if he could find some new species of insects he found interesting whilst making sure no one followed him as he doesn’t want to risk the chance of them seeing how he recharges his power.
Olivia nodded, "That sounds doable I'll have to prep my girls for the journey, and outfit them appropriately then they's the matter of concealable weapons, you get the idea." Olivia stood and glanced at the butterfly, she reached out to touch it then drew back, no matter how good she got at controlling her poison there was always the slightest amount left on her skin any small being would die on contact, anything larger then a large rat wouldn't feel a thing but a delicate being such as this would be dead instantly. "I'll take my leave then, Till three day's time." Olivia turned and walked out the door in a swirling of skirts, she reached her carriage and ordered her girls to drive. She would need a long, long bath after this.
As Olivia got out, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) finished his exploration. He saw Olivia and feared that she will spot him. He immediately jumped away from her potential line of sight and hid behind a tree, keeping an eye on her every move.
To degrees, I am at a disadvantage both power wise and money wise… he thought to himself.
Guess this is my life from now… he then walked away into the woods, hands in his pockets and smiling under the shades of the trees.
Marco called some of his best male servants and told them their task, and how they would respect Olivia’s ladies as well. No need to disrupt an alliance because his servants became too arrogant, and Marco trusted Olivia well enough. Even if she did end up turning on him, he still had plenty tricks up his sleeve. That night, Marco gathered around his piles of iron lying around and forged them into what he needed. Arm bracers, anklets, armor, weapons and small daggers. He wove hairlike strings on iron into his shoes even. By the time he finished, he was covered with sweat and was sure that he exhausted his power. He stationed a few extra guards around the manor before heading to bed. Finally. My plan will finally be in motion.
(I’m cool with a timeskip when you all are ready)
(Also down. And I'm back)
(Cool, does anyone else want to start?)
(If you don’t mind…)
Three days have passed since the conversation at Marco’s palace.
At dawn, when the harbor shopkeepers were just waking up and setting up their morning sales, a young man can be seen walking out of his house whilst carrying a small multicolored inscription, a black cloth backpack and wearing a dark gray peaked cap. He had nothing much on him; both item wise and money wise. The young man smiled in greetings to the surrounding morning shopkeepers before spreading his butterfly wings and flew countering the morning wind.
He eventually landed and glanced at his watch.
I’m probably the first one here… he thought, positioning his peaked cap so that it would reveal his irises. He knocked twice on the door.
A young servant boy opened the door, smiling softly, “Hello there sir, the master has been expecting you. If you’ll follow me, please.” The servant stepped aside to let him in before leading him towards a new set of doors. It lead to the lounge, adorned with seats and tables and couches, with Marco sitting on a gray couch.
Metal surrounded him in piles, and he was currently focusing on sharpening his blades. He was decked out in chainmail, his helmet sitting beside him.
“Good morning” the young harbor boy greeted the master of the palace as he positioned himself on a chair. He set his inscription and his cloth backpack down on the table. He then set his cap on the table. From Marco’s angle, he would see the small crystal butterfly decoration beside the cap.
Olivia arrived at the palace quite different;y this time around, she was decked out in dark black and purple armor carefully fitted to her form. she arrived on a tall dark war horse her hands were covered only by leather finger less gloves leaving her nails free to stab, that is except her fifth finger which was covered by the glove. Behind her came 9 girls ridding in three different coaches drawn by strong looking white horses, each carriage bore a different nobleman's emblem. Oliva tied her horse to a post told her girls to wait then marched to the door with a confident air.
Something andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) didn’t realize along the way to the palace, was the fact that he accidentally cursed some of the butterflies near the forest when he glided near it. The several cursed butterflies had the effect of nausea in them. The small village beside the forest would be affected by the butterflies, especially the children who liked to catch them.
A servant opened the door for Olivia, “Hello miss, right this way. The other guest arrived just before you,” The servant explained before leading Olivia to Marco.
“Ahh, good morning,” Marco offer a small smile to both of them, setting his iron dagger down. “Would either of you like some extra armor? I can fashion it for you right now if you’d like,” Marco gestured to the pile of unused iron next to him. It had turned out he had quite a bit more iron hidden around his palace than he remembered.
