(Her and Crimson will have to duel.)
(You're good bro)
Luna shook her head furiously. "Never. I don't know where this came from. What do you think? Do you think it might be magic?" she asked Fallon, standing up.
(I'm gonna change Luna's powers cause her and Josiah's are unintentionally really similar)
“Well, people don’t usually just control other people like that without magic.” Fallon answered, running a hand through her and wincing as she upset one of her injuries. “So yeah, probably. I knew a Siren way back who could do something like that, though she never passed out after.”
"Welp, Imma splash him with water." Crimson shrugged, throwing the rest of the water onto Josiah's face. "Wake up fucker, you can't die yet." He hissed. While scratching at his arm, his skin had accidentally started to peel, his arm looking like he had gotten sunburnt.
"Magic–Like being able to vanish kind of magic?" Veena asked carefully over Fallon's shoulder. She was, very carefully, maintaining eye contact with the ground. No use getting worked up for nothing.
(I think it would be funny for someone to notice Crimson's arms start to scale up and he's already noticed and was just like: "Oh cool.")
Josiah slept on the ground unaware of the world around him, peacefully slumbering off the heat that had taken him. He shifted in his mind, rolling around in the depths. His consciousness began to reform. What had happened anyways? Was it magic? He could almost feel the heat returning to his eyes. It was like the afternoon sunlight on his back, pleasant, yet slightly too hot. He started to slip away again to sleep in the cool hollows of his mind but was interrupted by a “Wake up fucker“ as icy water slapped into his face.
He gasped, sputtering, and looked around to the others. Luna looked rather worried while Crimson stared at him unapologetically, holding a bucket. Everyone took a step back as he stood up, Luna helping to lift him from the ground. How had he gotten there anyways? He shoved the thought aside and looked around —Veena was looking at the ground for some reason— until his eyes met Fallon’s. He stared at her.
“It was magic wasn’t it.” He knew the answer before she had begun to nod.
Luna slapped Josiah on the shoulder, glaring at him. “Don’t do that again! You hear me? You are not allowed to pass out like that again Josiah, you scared me! What did you say to her?”
Veena looked up, her question forgotten for the time being as she glanced at Josiah. "You almost died." She told him seriously, although a smile quirked her mouth only a moment later.
"As I said, you aren't allowed to die yet. If anyone's dying first, it's me." Crimson stated, shoving his empty waterskin into his bag.
((May I toss my character back into this rp, crocs?))
Josiah looked at Luna, a soft smile coming to his lips, though he hid it quickly. “I- I don’t remember really. I just felt something pulling me along and it felt right.” He looked at the others, an odd look on his face. “It was hot,” he said. “Something to do with my eyes.” They flickered as if something had woken inside of them. Something that would not be put to sleep.
"Woah." Luna turned and looked at Fallon, her eyes asking a question she probably didn't have the answer to. "Well. . . . " Now was not the time to worry about this. Josiah was up and they could worry about everything else later. "Can you walk? Because we should probably keep going," she said as she turned back to Josiah.
(Can we have something happen eventually where someones arguing with Luna and she gets upset? So her powers can like awaken?)
(Crimson could, I need him to get angry for his powers to show up too.)
(drama queen Veena just needs to get overwhelmed again.)
"Yea, let's get the hell out of here." Veena said, about facing and striding back into the thick of the trees. With all these weird occurrences, her stomach was beginning to knot uncomfortably. She adjusted her gloves, peeking under the cloth apprehensively. To say that she was surprised to see her skin there was an understatement, considering that only a hour ago her hands were invisible.
"Yes, let's please do that." Crimson followed her, hands reaching into his pocket and rubbing his thumb over a small piece of flint connected to a chain. He just wanted to get away from whatever creepy shit just happened.
Adayu had stayed aside while everything happened, not daring to say a word. So when everyone else started moving, so did he, silently.
He didn't talk this time either, he just followed the group obediently, trying not to remain behind. He had never been much of a talker, and he wasn't going to change that now. On the other hand, he was having a mild headache that made his ears pulsate with hot blood, aplifying the noises around him. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't comfortable either; he just felt like going somewhere and taking a nap.
Josiah lingered for just a second before following Luna. the traces of a daze were still clinging to to him like old cobwebs in the wind. He shook his head and followed her. She was right. They should keep moving.
Jayde nodded in agreement with the group before starting to walk again. She looked back at Adayu and saw the strange look on his face but she couldn't quite place it. She waited for the others to pass her before walking beside him, just to make sure everything was alright. Right now, all she hoped for was for them to leave the village in one piece.
(bump)
