"Of course it has limitations. No matter how often I say I am, I'm not actually a god." Rin joked, momentarily distracted by Dabria's movement. "I can only use it a set amount, although I've never quite figure out what that is. Oh, and I absolutely cannot plan for it at all. It just affects whatever it decides to once I activate it."
"That makes sense. It sucks that it's not more convenient. Does it only work on yourself, or can you activate your power on others?" Dabria asked, intrigued.
Cassidy looked up at him, meeting his surprisingly (Blank) eyes. She forced herself to remain composed and straight-faced. Gosh, the arrogance of the guy. She nodded. "Right then," she said flatly. She took a set of saddlebags in her arms. "I know the area, and the horses would be safe if we turned them free to graze if they are well trained enough, but the tunnels should be tall enough for them if they aren't that trained."
(Can U give me a color description of Kai? the Image link is no color on your template, so I don't know his eye or (exact) hair color)
(Also sorry I've been gone, I have my massive English 102 essay due on Monday. (I'm not in college, I'm in a program that lets me take college classes))
REET SORRY, we’re gonna day he’s identical to Yashiro, white hair, grey eyes, except Kai isn’t pale af like his brother))
“They should be fine on their own if you think that’s a good idea.” He replied as he grabbed another pair of saddlebags.

"I can use it on myself, but I have to be careful when, or I'll be, say, escaping a jail," Rin explained, using an actual event for an example. "And suddenly get really lucky when it comes to attracting men. You know, the last thing I need."
Dabria laughed. "I'm not sensing that's a lie."
"That's because it's not." Rin said, scrunching up her nose. "That was an overall shitty week."

Cassidy nodded. "Yes, they'll be fine. We're too close to the village for predators, the poache- I mean hunters see to that." She hefted the saddlebags. "Right well, follow me, you really don't want to get lost down there." she turned and walked back down the sloped hole, pausing slightly to let the prince and the very quiet knight catch up.
((OOC: Mmm, horsemeat for demons…whoops, did I say that outloud))
Kai followed behind her. Hopefully those creatures, whatever they were, would stay away from them for the time being. He still couldn’t believe this was happening. That father was dead, that Yashiro actually managed to turn everyone against him.
((You little heccer my precious baby doesn’t deserve having to deal with your crap lol
(She'll get over it eventually lol)
Cassidy sighed inwardly as she led them down the winding tunnels. Why does my life have to suck so much? She asked herself. Cassidy wasn't one for self-pity, but one could only take so much crap before they started to get worn out. She lifted her head, determined not to show how she was feeling. Fatigue and confusion would only show weakness, and Cassidy had known enough snobbish noblemen to know that they would exploit any weaknesses she showed.
He wanted to start planning out what they’d do to escape Yashiro right here right now but he knew he had to wait until he was with the whole group. But still, he was impatient and anxious, God knows what his brother would do to get to him. It wasn’t his safety he was too concerned about, but the safety of everyone else.
Cassidy was fine with the silence, but she had a question that she knew she would have to ask eventually. "What's your brother like?" she got out after a minute. She wasn't trying to be insensitive, though her tone made it clear that she still disliked him, but she just wanted to know why she should support one over the other. Or, more how Kai was different than his brother.
"That's because it's not." Rin said, scrunching up her nose. "That was an overall shitty week."
"Sounds like it wasn't," Dabria said, giving a small laugh. She sat back on her hands, watching the flames flicker comfortably.
Rin flopped onto her back, one arm crossed over her chest as she stared at the ceiling of the cavern, thinking. After a few moments, she spoke back up. "So, d'y'all got any idea what comes next?"
"Wait for the others to get back so we can discuss our plans. Also, I really should talk to Kai." She sighed. "We did both just lose someone close to us, and now his brother is after him, and who knows what that psycho will do to get to him."
"So that's a no." Rin looked over at Dabria, wincing. "I'm sorry. About the losing someone close to you."
Dabria gave a small hum of acknowledgment, but kept her eyes on the flame.
The shadow perched on a branch, his pale, white form standing out against the darkness. Sure, he could simply become one with the shadows, but there was no point at the time. The strange thing appeared humanoid, other than it was extremely tall, a long tail trailing from its spine, and a pair of bat-like wings attached to its shoulders. Then add a pair of long curling horns appearing from its head, eyes glowing in the darkness like two lanterns of bright green. The space between its neck and chest, there appeared to be an empty, dark hole. Black marks stained underneath its eyes, as if creating 'tears'.
The figure's head turned, glancing below towards the ground. Beneath on the ground below its perch in the tree, was what appeared to be a demonic looking female. The female simply stared ahead into the dense forest area.
~You have their scent Devola~.
The demonic woman scoffed under her breath, before replying to the other's question, "Easy tracking. They didn't do a fantastic job to hide their trail."
The strange, pale humanoid in the tree averted 'his' gaze back to the forest before them ~I would expect no less from you. Very well, shall we get this over with~.
"Might as well I suppose."
Then without another word, the female started to walk forward, the humanoid disappearing into the branches of the trees.
(Hey @Dragoncita, I just remembered, Carrots has a really cute, strong bond with his horse, so if you could just spare it if you attack the horses that would be swell. It'd be nice for them to come back to if they ever rejoin lol)
((OOC: No worries, it'll most likely just be Kamos and Devola spooking the animals. Easier to hunt down the prey when the prey doesn't have quick transportation. That as well, depending on who has staid, etc. Those who have left the RP will most likely have their animal targeted by Devola))
(Morning! Well, morning-ish now)
Rin reached into her pocket, pulling out a small coin-like item and tossing it in the air. "I have a question."
Dabria looked at Rin and tilted her head in confusion. "What is it?"
