He heard a loud crashing in the distance, he turned to see the place he’d just been at collapsed, the remains going up in flames. Every fiber in his body screamed that it was his fault. One voice rose above the rest ‘this is what will happen time and time again when you go to people. You have to fight this alone.’
(This girl has the worst luck and she's about to come take it out on Kai lol)
((IKR, He has no idea what’s coming
Cassidy coughed as the ash swept over her. She slowly sat up, wincing at her injuries. She stood up and brushed the ash from her once-white shirt. there goes my livelihood. she thought sourly. All because of that prince, he could have chosen the other tavern to seek refuge in, but nooooo, he had to choose mine. She looked to the woods. She was burned, she was furious, and she had a bone to pick with the heir to the throne. She turned away from the wreckage of her home and began her search in the dark forest.
‘You should go make sure that girl is okay.’ He thought but the other voice quickly stepped in ‘it’s too dangerous. They could easily find you now and then her sacrifice would be for nothing.’
Dabria gave the signal for everyone to go faster, and when she reached the village, spotted rising smoke. Where he goes chaos will follow, that's gotta be our best bet, she thought, then signaled for everyone to guide their horses towards the smoke, which turned out to be a collapsed tavern in raging flames. If anyone had been inside, they weren't now. Nearby, there were tracks of horses that was definitely not their own, and a fresh set of footprints. She turned to the knights following her, pointed at the footprints so they understood, and started to follow the prints.
Cassidy stormed through the woods, no thoughts of caution in her mind. The lowdown slimy son of a goblin. She paused her internal rant. No, that disrespectful. The late Queen had definitely not been a goblin. She shook her head and pressed forward. She paused briefly to inspect an indent in the forest floor. A footprint. Just like the incriminating ones in her tavern. She had to be close. Cassidy resumed her quick pace, not caring about the amount of noise she was making.

She turned to face the three knights behind her. "This is definitely the work of guards. We need to see if there's anyone in–" Her speaking was interrupted when the building collapsed in on itself, and a young woman flung herself outside. She stood up and started away from the tavern, but Dabria dismounted and ran up to her. "Ma'am, what just happened?"
(Sorry, Cassidy had already gone into the woods to find the prince, I didn't see your post)
Oh okay lemme rewrite that then))
((Euric I just realized a nickname for Dabria could be Dab….

Something else distracted him from his thoughts. He froze, intently listening in an attempt to figure out what it was. Something was headed towards him quickly, and it sounded pretty angry.
Yes it could wow
But y'know
Her name means Angel of Death
That's why she's named that way))
Cassidy heard a twig snap. Her head jerked in that direction. She changed direction and stormed into the bushes intent on finding the source, whatever it was. She was fairly confident she could fight a bear and win in this state.
‘It was definitely more than just one creature.’ He thought with certainty, hearing several other loud noises nearby. He didn’t want to waste his mana so he’d have to stay visible for now. He was pretty hidden so he should be okay.
She emerged on the other side of the bushes, but nothing was there. She frowned. Where the heck is this guy? She sighed and rubbed her pounding head, only to wince again because of her burns.
The princess turned around in her saddle to face the knights. "Is it a stupid idea if I call his name?"
"I-I don't know. Maybe. Probably. I think there's an angry person nearby, I think we should hide," Luck mumbled, hunching his skinny shoulders.
Cassidy slumped to the ground in defeat. Furious as she was, the reality of the situation had finally sunk in. She was homeless, injured, and without any means of surviving, save her dagger. Cassidy hesitated. Well, she did have one more thing, something she hadn't used in a very long time, and it was barely anything. A small gift more than magic. She knew a healing spell if it would work… She opened her mouth and began to sing in a quiet voice.
He had to come up with a plan quickly. He knew the kingdom would be on lockdown soon enough. He hated having to run but until he found some allies he had no choice.
Cassidy opened her eyes as she finished the spell and cursed. Nothing had happened. "I hate my life!!!" She screamed to nothing.
Dabria ignored Luck’s suggestion and immediately jolted to face forwards when she heard a woman’s voice. The princess dismounted and signaled for the others to do the same, before stalking towards the voice as quietly as possible. It took a minute, but eventually Dabria came upon a young woman, probably the source of the footsteps from before. Dabria was out of sight of the woman, so she held up a hand stop, then approached her cautiously. “Hello there, could I speak with you?”
