Prince Ren was indeed still in the ballroom, examining the wall since he had nothing better to do. He looked up with a courteous smile when Ellie entered, “Yes?”

Cas looked up as well and looked Ellie up and down. Not trying to make it seem like he was gawking at her, but he did notice the skirt she was wearing was shorter than her dress. His face turned a bit red and he had to turn away. He felt it was wrong to look at her dressed like that. And he couldn't help but imagine if Fay was wearing the same thing. The door suddenly opened with a bang and Fay was standing there with some clothes in her arms for the boys. "Hey guys." She smiled. And although her smile was enchanting, Cas couldn't help but be a bit disappointed, which made him feel worse. Although she was still cute. "Here I got clothes for you so you don't ruin yours." She handed a pair of pants and a shirt to Cas, then turned and did the same with Ren. "There's a bathroom right outside the ballroom."

@Simon-Says

"I've… found them," Ellie sighed, leaning against the wall. "How on earth did you get here so fast?" She asked in confusion. "You haven't got some sort of super speed I don't know about, have you?"

“Oh, that’s so thoughtful,” Ren let out a small laugh, realizing he had completely forgot about his finery. “Thank you,” He added as he took the clothes and went to go change. Once in the bathroom, he made sure to make sure his hair looked okay and nothing was on his face or anything like that… “Why am I being so self conscious?” He muttered softly to himself, shaking his head as he changed then went back out again with his former clothes in hand. “The clothing fits wonderfully,” Ren said with a smile as he walked back to the princesses.

Fay looked to her best friend as a mischievous smile crossed her face, "A magician never shared their secrets." In all honesty she used a secret passage why the the castle had to get there and back faster. Once Ren was back Cas left and went to change. He sighed and rested against the wall. He didn't think he would like the princess this much, and the fact that Ren got here before him, killed Cas. If he was here first maybe they would have the better connection. He quickly changed and headed back. "So, we need teams." Fay suggested. But the problem was picking teams was going to be hard. "And the winners get to tell the losers what to do for the rest of the day." Games were more fun if there was a twist.

@Simon-Says

"Oh my gods," Ellie rolled her eyes. "If we want to be really juvenile, we could do boys against girls," she suggested sarcastically.

@Norepinephrinxx

Emerald nodded, putting her hood over her head. At least we found Aurelie, at least there’s still hope, Emerald reminded herself, taking a deep breath. And maybe with her sword, they’d be able to find someone else even sooner.

(Also, if any knights are on right now, do you have a preferred place to be found? Like a tavern, or cave, or palace or something?)

(Woops sorry I haven't been on much, umm I don't have much of a preference. Probably not a tavern though.)

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Hm," Fay hoped over towards Ellie. "I think that's an amazing idea! Do you boys think you can get along for this game?" Cas didn't really want to, but if he won he could tell the princess to do whatever, and having her pretty friend in the deal wasn't so bad. "What do you think Ren?" Cas asked, genuinely curious of what he wanted to do. If he refused that was fine, he would just team up with the princess.

@Rvan group

Ren looked Cas up and down for a second, before smiling, “I would be honored to have you on my team,” He said with a smile, but that was on the surface. Ren had no idea why, but he felt defensive around Cas. Like why is this guy even here in the first place? Ren thought, though the answer was quite obvious. Maybe it was just because he liked the princess so much, even though he probably shouldn’t for his own good. He had to remind himself that to everyone else, maybe even to Cas, they were together today for diplomatic reasons, definitely not love or small crushes.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Then you must stop giving me suggestions." Fay laughed. "Alright it's settled, boys against girls." Fay walked to the door and grabbed four fake guns to put the paint into. "I say if you get shot ten times, then your out the last person standing is who's team wins." It was simple but fun. "I had a butler put a few paint cans around the yard for ammo. For now everyone split up." Fay grabbed Ellie's arm and started to drag her outside. Everyone could clearly tell that the princess was still a child and just wanted to have fun. But on the inside Fay also knew she had things she must do as princess, but if she had any free time she was going to use that to have fun. Cas looked to Ren and shrugged. "Guess we better head out." Cas held his gun close as he headed for the door and looked for a paint can. He was not going to lose, it wasn't an option at this point.

@Rvan group

Ren took the gun, nodded, “Sounds lovely,” He puffed out his chest a little ashe walked outside, “So Prince Cas, what do you think of the princess?” He asked casually, side glancing at him.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"She's cute, fun, and fearless. Anyone who can stand up to a queen like that must be brave." Or stupid. But Cas didn't actually think Fay was stupid. He knew she was the queens actual child, so she must have gone through a lot to be able to stand up for herself like that. "What do you think about her. I mean you have been with her a bit longer and it seems like you went on a fun little journey together." Cas said in a weird tone. He wasn't exactly happy about that, but there was nothing he could do about it. Cas would get his time, he just had to be patient.

"Hey, that attitude is going to what makes us lose. Think a but more positive. We got this!" Fay threw her fist in the air. And went to find a hiding spot. "Where should we hide. We could get a few shots on them if we hide well."

@Rvan group

Ren looked at the ground, sifting through at the words he could use to describe Fay. Wonderful, adventurous, kind, lively, smart, freeing, perfect… “She is… endamé. It is a word we use in my country, it doesn’t have a direct translation. It sort of means…” Ren though for a moment to try to decide on a better explanation, “It means that she is beautiful. Not in the face -though she is beautiful that way as well- but in the heart. The princess has a pure soul, she would fight for the common good,” Ren explained, smiling a little bit as they walked outside. Part of him forgot to even be looking out for Freya and Ellie.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Hm, I see. So we both see her in the same way." This was going to be more difficult than Cas thought. Ren seemed like one of those nice guys girls always fall for. Sure Cas had his moments but he was nice as well, he just hasn't had the chance to show her yet. That's why he needed to win. "Where do you think they could be?" In the distance Cas saw one of the paint cans and sprinted that way. He needed to fill up and be ready.

Fay followed Ellie into the bushes. Fay already knew where the cans were and filled up earlier. Sure it may have been cheating, but she thought it was more of thinking ahead more than anything. "Now we just have to wait. You're my bestfriend and I value your opinion, so be honest. What do you think of the guys? These are the two my father picked for me, but I don't know, I've always seen myself escaping this place and marrying a normal towns guy and living a normal life." Fay liked both Ren and Cas, Ren a bit more. But inside she still longed for that normal life.

@Rvan group

“Hey wait,” Ren said, running after him. As much as he didn’t like Cas, he knew they needed to work together if they wanted to best the girls. He looked around, noticing a different paint can hidden in some flowers, so he quickly grabbed that for himself.

@Simon-Says

Ellie glanced over at Fay. "Honestly? I don't know. The one… Caspian, was it? Seemed more… I don't know, princely? Which is why I think the other would be better for you. Sorry I can't remember their names," she said with a small laugh. "But really, they do seem nice. Maybe it wouldn't be such a horror story if you had to marry one of them?"

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I guess.. but then I would be giving in to what the queen and my father want. I never wanted this life and honestly I still don't. And if I marry one of them then I'm just falling into the trap." Or at least that's what it felt like to her. Ellie was much more fit to be a princess, she was responsible and and took her job seriously. Ellie should be the princess not Fay. Fay was spontaneous and loved joking around, she couldn't sit still. She longed for a normal life. "You should be princess." Fay mumbled to herself.
Cas was now on alert, and was listening to every sound around him. He was going to win. "We can't lose." He told Ren and he looked around. Cas already knew what he was going to do, he wanted to ask Fay on a date, so he could show her his good side.

@Simon-Says

Ellie rolled her eyes. "For the thousandth time, no I shouldn't. I have absolutely no qualities that make me suitable to be a princess," she sighed. "And listen, marriage isn't a trap. Just a fancy ceremony followed by a person living with you. Just because the monarchy wants something, doesn't always mean it's bad."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I just don't want the responsibility. If only my brother and sister would come back. Maybe some of this stress would be lifted off my shoulders." She sighed. Maybe I should run away like my sister. Many people in the place said awful things about her, like she's a coward, and that she abandoned her country. Fay couldn't say anything about her since she's never met her. "I at least wish she could have stayed so I could've met her."

@Simon-Says

"Maybe she wasn't worth meeting if she abandoned her kingdom and responsibilities like she did," Ellie said disdainfully. After a few seconds, she shook her head to clear it and peeked out of the bush. "But she's not important. For now, let's just win this."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"You're right. Making the boys do what we want would be funny." Fay said. And crouched down lower. The sound of foot steps were heard in the distance. It had to be them. Once close enough Fay popped out and sprayed her paint. She laughed, "Got you!" A hand grabbed hers and Fay finally realized who she had shot. Dropping her gun she push Ellie's head down. The first thought that went her head was to protect her friend. "Indeed you did. You've tested my patience too much today. Come!" The Queens voice came out like venom, like a snake that had it's prey in it's trap. Fay didn't dare look back at Ellie just in case the queen noticed. Blair dragged Fay off a tight firm grip on her wrist.

Cas sighed. It was tiring looking for them. How could they just disappear. "Where are they?" He was getting worried that they may possibly lose.

@Simon-Says

"Fay!" Ellie cried before covering her mouth. She hissed out a quiet "dammit," and jumped out of the bush. "I knew this was going to happen," she groaned. She tapped her foot in decisively. She couldn't follow; she'd get fired. But Fay… she sighed.
