Ellie gave a small smile. That was unusual. "A pleasure," she said politely before turning back to Fay. "Making the queen's life a living hell isn't going to pay for my house," she hissed, then sighed. "Fine. Whatever. I'll join in your antics for now."

“I think there’s one like that around here, but it’s not the best quality,” Aurelie said. “The innkeeper and his wife aren’t the most honest folk but they ask no questions and you have me with you if we get into trouble.”

@Rvan group

Prince Ren smiled at Ellie, wondering if she had an adventurous personality similar to Freya. “Any friend of the princess is a friend of mine. If you ever come to the Southern Isles, you will be welcomed,” Ren said gracefully, with a small bow. He held out his hand, “I am Ren, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“Sounds wonderful. I also have my own abilities to rely on,” Emerald nodded, standing up. She’d rather not accidentally burn a whole inn down in self defense, but as a last resort it would work good enough.

"So what do you guys want to do?" They could play tag, or actually dance. There were many things that they could do. Cas looked around and just shrugged. He was quite fascinated by Ellie's red hair, she was beautiful, but he could never say that. "Ren do you have any ideas?"
(Sorry it's so short.)

“Okay, it’s settled then,” she replied. “How many rooms should we get? Do you each need your own room or should we all split one?” Aurelie didn’t have much money, but she wouldn’t admit it outright unless she had to.

“I don’t know…” Ren trailed off in thought, “Back when we were younger, me and my brothers used to play bazooka wars in our ballroom.” Ren smiled at the fond memories. They used to get in a lot of troubles for those, especially when they broke an expensive vase. “We would take qucum nuts, that are native to the Southern Isles, and throw them at each other.” (Think like nerf wars) Ren chuckled to himself, looking back to Freya with a twinkle of joy in his eyes, “I doubt the queen would approve.”

“Let’s all split one, I doubt we can afford more than that,” Emerald said with a nod, “I’ll sleep on the floor if I must. One room would be enough.”

@MusicElle-is-here

Aurelie nodded as well. “Sounds good,” she agreed. “We should probably leave now, so we can get there before it gets crazy. And I volunteer to sleep on the floor.”

@Rvan group

Emerald nodded in agreement, “You lead the way.” As much as she hated letting others lead her to places, she didn’t know where they were going. Emerald vowed, after this was all over she would get to know more of the towns in her country.

Aurelie walked out of the door, making sure to lock it as she knew Travis had a key with him. She breezed through the village quickly, hoping that the others were able to keep up with her pace, until they arrived in front of an inn. It was tall and a bit ramshackle, but looked cozy nonetheless. The windows were lit with a yellow glow, and Aurelie opened the door, stepping inside. A man was sitting at the desk, looking bored and probably a bit drunk.

“Hello, we’d like a room please,” Aurelie requested, walking up to the desk.

The man looked at the three of them with a smirk, and Aurelie did her best not to blush under his scrutinizing gaze. She did, however, raise her eyebrow in annoyance. She much preferred the innkeeper’s wife to the innkeeper, as she was slightly more polite.

“That will cost you three coins,” he replied.

(idk what the currency is lol)

@Rvan group

Emerald sighed, reaching for her coin purse and fishing out three silver coins. She prayed she’d be able to find the other two knight before her purse became empty. She kept her head low and her hair covered by her hood as she approached the man and held her hand out with the coins.
(Sorry it’s so short, I’m not feeling super creative rn oof)

@Dirt

Zero rolled his eyes at the innkeeper. He thought of getting a room to himself to give the girls their space. But he barley had enough coins for food as it was. Adding a room to it and he'd be broke before the next day. So for now he'd have to deal with whatever the innkeeper was thinking, and hope no one else thought the same.

(Sorry I've been gone so long. I haven't been feeling the best.)

@Fantasy-Illy!

"It doesn't matter what the Queen says. I like Ren's idea!" Fay jumped up and down with excitement. It was fun to have people her age she could play with. "So, how do we play?" Cas just shrugged he didn't think it was a bad idea, anyway it was healthy to have fun and not be serious all the time. And from what he gathered, Ellie sure needed this.

@MusicElle-is-here

The innkeeper took it, a grin on his slightly dirty face. “Thank you, missy,” he replied, his smile making Aurelie’s skin crawl. She glared at him, clearly ready to fight this man, but managed to get herself under control and taking the room key he offered.

“Let’s go,” she said, leading the way before the innkeeper could say anything else.

@Dirt

Zero couldn't help but shoot a dirty look towards the innkeeper. He wanted to say it wasn't like that. But its not like snapping would fix anything. With his luck, it'd probably just make things worse.

@Simon-Says

"You heard him, didn't you?" Ellie asked. "We throw things at each other," she gave a short laugh. "We throw things at each other. Objects are flung from our hands out to the great expanse of the room. Why on earth did I have to borrow a dress for this?"

@Fantasy-Illy!

"We can go change. And also I was talking about rules." Fay said and put her hands on her hips. She wasn't dumb and of course she heard him. But like every game, they have rules, just like pretty much everything in life. Which Fay thought was lame.

@MusicElle-is-here

Aurelie didn’t even glance over her shoulder as she walked towards the room. She was certain their glares were only egging the innkeeper on. She walked down a hall and opened the door to reveal one queen-size bed with light brown sheets with an armchair and a small couch crammed into the tiny space as well. There was a small bathroom connected to the bedroom that looked slightly sketchy but usable enough. The whole room looked more packed than anything, only reinforcing how small the space was, but Aurelie was determined not to show her annoyance with the space as she stepped inside, waiting for the others.

@Dirt

Zero was glad for the two sitting spaces. He was ready to sleep on the floor. Not that that would have been bad. A wooden floor was honestly better then the streets he'd been camping on.

(Sorry its kinda short. And dry-)

@Rvan group

Prince Ren shrugged. “Eh, not many rules really. Just like try not to break anything,” Ren let out a laugh. Those had definitely been good times. “And we only have three ‘lives’. Once you get hit three times you’re out, so yeah. That’s it. Though we would need something to throw at each other.” Unfortunately qucum nuts were a bit of a delicacy these days since a disease had wiped out half the population, so he doubted this country would have many.

Emerald stepped inside, glancing around. It was definitely cramped. “Well it seems good enough,” She let out a soft sigh. It was better than where she’d been sleeping the past few nights. Emerald lit a few candles from across the room, the first time she’d used her magic in a while. She slung her small pack from her shoulders and plopped into the chair before taking out an apple to eat.

@MusicElle-is-here

“So where is everyone going to sleep?” Aurelie asked. “I can sleep on the armchair and one of you can take the couch and the other can take the bed.”

@Dirt

"Yeah right." Zero scoffed. "I'm taking the armchair." And before the others could get a word in he sat, and got as comfortable as he could. Still better then the streets, he thought to himself.
