“If you want me to reveal my secrets, you can’t expect to give me nothing of yours,” Aurelie replied. “I could completely give away someone who would rather stay secret, and I don’t know anything about you.”

Case walked down the docks with his guards pushing the crowd back. Fay watch as he walked down the dock. The crowd screamed and the girls fawned over him. With a charming smile her looked around waving at everyone. As he did so he locked eyes with Fay and his smile faded. She was a bit surprised, but couldn't look away. "Well," Cas finally spoke, his voice was deep and calming. "If it isn't the princess." It was then and there that her heart began to race, not because it was love at first sight or anything. But she knew that she would be in big trouble. The crowd then turned to her. It was silent for many moments, then the crowd began to mumble. Some would say that she was dressed like a princess and others would say she is beautiful. "I was headed to the castle to greet you, but seemed you came to see me instead. Come, we can take my carriage back to the castle." Fay frowned he seemed odd. "Alright, I'm tired of walking anyway. But, I'll only go if Ren comes as well." Cas scowled when his eyes met with the other prince. So, he got here before I did. His smile returned before Fay could catch it. "Of course. If you would like that is?" He asked Ren with a bit of a tone, telling Ren he didn't really want him around.

(Let the drama start!)

“Zero told you his name, isn’t that enough?” Emerald muttered, frowning even more. “Isn’t there something else I can tell you? Just… not my name.” Emerald glanced at Zero. As much as she need information, she couldn’t reveal herself. It was already too much of a risk for Zero to know about her, but that couldn’t be helped. Her father would find her before she even found the knights.

(Ooooooo)
Ren frowned, crossing his arms over his chest as he sized up the other prince. He glanced at Freya. He wished they could stayed out a bit longer, he had been enjoying it quite a bit, but he supposed if she was tired of walking… He was surprised Freya had been okay with going back to the caste—maybe she was getting bored of Ren?
Prince Ren forced a polite smile at the other prince, “I’d love to come, but only if you weren’t there.” He muttered in his native language, but nodded to the other prince. At least he wouldn’t have to sneak back in through the sewers.

Aurelie thought for a moment. “Your name is pretty important to you…You’re in hiding, aren’t you?” She sighed. “Sorry, I’m not the best with people. But still…I don’t feel like I can trust you with you giving me absolutely nothing to go off of.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Alright follow me." The crowd also followed, but kept a distance. "Princess Freya if I may?" He held out his arm for her to take. Fay looked over at Ren. She would've liked to stay out longer with Ren, but the fake princess side of her was coming out. Being rude to a visitor would be bad, or at least that's what the Queen would say. Fay smiled sweetly and took his arm. Cas lead her to the carriage, leaving Ren to follow behind. Once there he opened the door for her. "Thank you." She climbed up and sat on one the the seats. It was a very nice carriage, Fay just wished she was riding in it for a different reason. Cas climbed in after and went to sit next to Freya. With a smile on her face she swung her leg up covering the seat next to her. "Sorry, this seat is taken." Cas was taken aback, but grinned as he sat across from her. "Do we have a feisty princess on our hands? Don't worry, I like that." He's weird. Fay rolled her eyes and waited for Ren to come in.

“If I give you my name, you’ll know more than what I’m comfortable with. Since you only have information, and we’ll likely be parting ways after this, I’d rather not tell you everything about myself,” Emerald said stiffly, crossing her arms over her chest. “I can’t risk being found.” Emerald bit her lip, and reluctantly continued, “Do you want more coin? I’ll pay you extra if I can keep my name a secret.”

When Freya took the other prince’s arm, he couldn’t stop himself from glaring at the back of his head. He heard his brother’s voice in the back of his head, reminding him to be kind. “What has gotten into me?” Ren muttered to himself as they approached the carriage. If Princess Freya liked this prince, then so be it. Ren would live, even if he didn’t like it. But when he climbed into the carriage, Ren couldn’t stop the bit of hope sparking in his chest when Freya and the other prince didn’t sit next to each other. “May I?” He asked softly, glancing at the empty space beside Freya.

Aurelie bit her lip. She felt guilty accepting too much money, even if she needed it. “If we weren’t splitting ways, say I was your guide, would you trust me more? Of course, if you don’t trust me, I don’t blame you. We are strangers. But maybe if I gave you some information first, it would help?”

@Rvan group

Emerald glanced at Zero, taking a long breath as she thought it over. “Yes, it would help. But only if you also promised to not tell any authorities of my presence around also. Then I’d tell you my name, you have my word.” Emerald nodded. It was a huge risk, but… she’d need to take it.

@MusicElle-is-here

Authorities? Who was this girl? Aurelie thought for a minute about what to tell her. She couldn’t reveal her knighthood so soon, so she went with her family. There wasn’t a super high chance that the strangers would know them, but maybe it would help.

“My father is Lord Thomas, who lives a short ways away in another town,” Aurelie explained. “I don’t know if either of you have heard of him or my family, but there’s some more information. And I promise not to tell anyone a thing about you. I haven’t even been in this city for more than a month, if that helps at all.”

@Rvan group

Lord Thomas. Princess Emerald committed the name to memory, in the case that this woman did tell her secret… she knew where to find her again. Not that she’d ever want to harm her. Emerald sighed, glanced around to double check and make sure no one else was in the house before taking off her hood to reveal her silver hair. “I am Princess Emerald, the king’s first daughter.” Emerald had been about to say ‘only daughter’, but she swiftly remembered of the half sister she’d never met.

@MusicElle-is-here

“Holy shit,” Aurelie breathed, taken aback. Of all the things she had expected, this had been pretty far down on her list. “Okay, wow. And why do you want to find the knights, exactly?” If being a king’s daughter was anything like being a lord’s daughter Aurelie could see why Emerald had wanted to get away, or whatever it was she was doing.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Of course Prince Ren." She moved her leg and smiled. Cas on the other hand chuckled and watched the two of them closely. Seems they already made a connection. Doesn't matter. Cas definitely seemed like a jerk, but he had a sweet side. A side he was going to show Freya. "Sorry we couldn't stay out longer. The Queen is going to kill me." Fay sighed and looked out the window watch the castle get closer. "So, how long have you two known each other?" Cas asked, sitting back in his seat. He didn't expect either of them to answer, so he was surprised when Freya did. "We met this morning. He just got in today as well." The closer they got the more you could see Fay turn back into the girl who was stuck in the castle. A bit sad, and not as bright. I didn't even get to see the ocean well. "So, Ren, are you also one of Fay's suitors?"

@Rvan group

Emerald nodded solemnly, “Now you see why I was very reluctant to tell you my name.” She took a deep breath, readying her explanation. “I’m looking for the knights because my father is planning something I’m not okay with. A war, and he plans -planned- to use me,” like a pawn, “to kill enemy soldiers with my power. I do not wish to contribute to a war, more than that, I want to stop it. But I can’t do that in my own, which is why I’m searching for fairytales. They’re my only hope.” Emerald explained, glancing at Zero. She still didn’t quite understand why he was helping her, but… help was help, and Emerald needed it desperately.

Ren smiled a little as he sat down, a bit of pride swelling in his chest. He listened to Freya, and was disappointed to she her wonderful, adventurous, bright personality seem to diminish. Then the other prince’s question caught him off guard. Suitor? He certainly didn’t think of himself like that, but he supposed it was true. Ren had come here in search of the princess’s hand upon his father’s request, but after taking Freya out of the palace, after kissing her…. It felt different, more similar to a childlike crush rather than a diplomatic marriage. “Yes,” Ren responded in his language with a hesitant nod.

@MusicElle-is-here

“A war?” Aurelie raised her eyebrows, both worried and, to be honest, a bit skeptical. “With whom? What would the king benefit from a war? Not that I don’t believe you, but you would have to be pretty dire to be chasing fairytales. It would have to be your last option, because the knights don’t always like to be involved in the affairs of others.”

@Rvan group

Emerald frowned a little, “I told you why I’m searching for knights, you never said I had to explain it that thoroughly.” She crossed her arms over her chest, adding for emphasis, “I’ve told you my information, yet you’re still withholding yours.” Emerald peered at Aurelie. She’d already said so much, and the stranger still hadn’t told her the information she needed.

@MusicElle-is-here

Aurelie sighed. “You’re right,” she said. “You’re going to have to explain your plan, because congratulations, you found the first knight. But if you tell anyone I will hunt you down and kill you.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Does he speak English?" Cas turned to Freya and asked. "No," Of course she wasn't going to tell him. Ren didn't want anyone to know, so she wasn't going to tell him. "Then how can you hang out with him when he doesn't understand you?" It was confusing to Cas how she could enjoy her time with someone who doesn't speak English. "He has a translator, but we left him behind. Don't worry even if I can't understand him, it doesn't mean I didn't like our time together. I quite enjoyed it actually." When Fay thought about Ren her heart fluttered. Then the kiss came to mind and she had to turn away. Her face turned red and she tried her best to hide it, but Cas noticed. "Princess, are you not feeling well?" Gracefully she put her hand up asking him to stop talking. The carriage was silent the rest of the way to the castle.

@Rvan group

Emerald stared at Aurelie, eyes widened. “What?” She managed to say, not quite believing it. “You’re one of the knights?” Here she was, talking to a knight. Right now. “I was beginning to lose hope…” She mumbled, still too awestruck to answer Aurelie’s question.

A warm feeling fluttered in Ren’s chest at Princess Freya’s words. She enjoyed the time we spent together… He had to bite down on his tongue to keep himself from smiling. For some reason, he just couldn’t help liking the princess. Maybe it was her sense of adventure than paralleled Ren’s. Or maybe it was her wonderfully infectious smile. Ren kept silent, his mind on Freya the whole way to the castle. He found himself looking forward to the next time they could sneak away.

@MusicElle-is-here

Aurelie rolled her eyes. “Yes, I’m a knight,” she replied, sounding almost offended. She mistook Emerald’s surprise for being about her appearance rather than awe. “I may look like a fourteen year old, but I can kick your ass.”

@Rvan group

Emerald shook herself out of her thoughts, “I don’t doubt it. You’re a legend. A fairytale.” Princess Emerald offered a smile, “And that’s why I need your help. I didn’t see all my father’s notes and battle plans, but it looked as if he planned to attack all the neighboring countries, even our allies. Maybe even more.” Emerald sighed, “I can’t let that happen. And now I’m sure he’s hunting me down with his guards and magicians, and I can’t take on that all on my own.”

@MusicElle-is-here

“Now you don’t have to,” Aurelie responded confidently. “I’ll help you. I always seem to get myself in over my head, so why not add more quests? And I obviously don’t want a war here. However, I can’t help you find the other knights, because I have no information about them. We’ve never met. But my sword can help. It’s basically like an awesome magic compass. So you came to the right place!”

@Rvan group

Emerald smiled, probably one of the most genuine smiles she’s had in a while, “You don’t know how happy I am to hear that.” Her shoulders sagged, you could almost tell how hard she had been working since she’d left the palace. “I still can’t believe it…” She whispered, a bit of awe still in her eyes.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Fay couldn't believe her first kiss was by a boy she had only met this morning, but she didn't mind it. Actually she thought that his it was kinda attractive the way he took the lead. Seeing a guy like that made Fay's heart race. There was something about bad boys, who are secretly sweet that she liked. Before she knew it they were stopped in front of the castle. The door opened and Cas got out first, the Fay followed behind. I need to sneak back into my room. If the queen found out she was gone and that she was wearing clothes like this, who knows what the punishment would be.

@Rvan group

Ren stepped out after Freya, and quickly offered his arm to her before the other prince got the chance to. He glanced around, double checking the area to make sure the queen or king wasn’t anywhere close. Ren doubted they’d approve of him helping Freya sneak out of the palace, though a part of him didn’t care too much for what they’d think about him. He was more worried for Freya. What if they didn’t allow us to hang out after this…

@Fantasy-Illy!

Fay took Ren's arm and smiled to Cas, "We will meet you inside." Fay then walked not to the door, but to the other side of the building. When she was out of sight she grabbed Ren's hand and ran for it. "Me and you have to get to my room. I have to change and we must act like we never left." She stood below her balcony wondering if there was anyway up besides going inside. Scaling up the wall might work since it was brick, but still, that's a dangerous idea. "Might be worth it though." She said outloud not meaning to.
