Emerald nodded, putting her hood over her head. At least we found Aurelie, at least there’s still hope, Emerald reminded herself, taking a deep breath. And maybe with her sword, they’d be able to find someone else even sooner.

(Also, if any knights are on right now, do you have a preferred place to be found? Like a tavern, or cave, or palace or something?)

“What are you two waiting for?” Aurelie asked cheerfully. She opened the door for them. “I’m ready to get out of here!”

Cas saw Ellie jump from a bush and shot. "Yes!" He shouted and moved closer to her. "Is Fay in there?" Cas then proceeded to shoot the bush just in case she was. "You know you shouldn't be so out in the open." He laughed, then saw her face and he stopped. It didn't look happy at all. "What's wrong?"

@Simon-Says

Ellie clutched her arm, now covered in paint. "Sonofa - the Queen dragged her away," she told him, a pained look in her eyes. "I told her not to," she muttered again.

Ren ran after them, his face dropping when he heard what happened. “No…” He whispered, “Which way did they go?” He asked, balling his hand into a fist. It wasn’t right, for the queen to wreck Fay’s fun like this. Shouldn’t she be happy that the princess is enjoying her time with foreign princes? Or did the queen just not care?

"I said let go of me you wench!" Fay shouted as Blair dragged her below the castle to the prison down there, although it hadn't been used in years. She stoooed in her tracks when she heard what Fay called her. "Wench?" Fay glared up at her Blair. "Yes, ugly wench." There was no hesitation, and the sound of Blair's hand connecting with Fay's cheek echoed. "You awful child. I'm make sure you wrote down here. You will never replace my children, the true heirs of the kingdom." Fay laughed, but tears still rolled dow her face. "Then tell me, why did you beloved daughter abandon you, and the kingdom? While I came here ready to take on responsibility I did even want!" Her voice was calm at first, but towards the ending of that sentence she started screaming and trying even harder to get out of the Queen's grip. But it was too late. Fay was thrown to the ground and locked behind bars. It wa only now that the fear crept up. "Let me out, please." She begged the Queen. Blair only looked down at the now defeated princess. The one who has been acting so strong until now. All you could see was the amusement and victory in Blair's eyes, as she smiled down at her. "I'm sorry. Daughters of commoners don't belong in a castle." Turning on her heels Blair laughed as she walked away. Fay just sat there, stunned, her body went numb as it crumbled to the ground. At this point she couldn't believe what was happening that even the tears stopped. There was nothingness, just darkness at this point.

Ellie pointed towards the castle, but without waiting for any response, started sprinting for the doors. She stopped when she got inside and looked around. "I'll kill her. Won't have to work for her, then, anyway," she muttered darkly, picking a hallway and following it. Unfortunately, this particular hallway was empty of guards and servants, so she had no one to ask.

(Haha. It's just to move the story along. And the royal family are the only ones who know about the prison, well them and some of the older workers.)

Ren ran after her, but frowned when she stopped. “Isn’t there anything we can do? She-“
“Your Highness,” A voice greeted, but it didn’t sound very jovial. Ren turned to see Edgar with a cup of tea in his hands. “My prince, you’ve been gone for quite a while, it’d be best if you came with me,” He said with a small frown. Ren was about to say something, like how he needed to find Fay, but he knew he was already pushing his luck.

Ellie was on the verge of tears, and turned away to continue down the hall. She could just walk around the entire castle. It would only take her… what, a few hours?

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Here, let me help you." Cas couldn't leave a crying girl alone, plus he was also worried about Fay. "We can look together." He would offer her a smile, but he knew that was probably the last thing she wanted to see.
(Are you guys cool if I do like a month time skip in a bit?)

It has been a mouth and no one had seen Princess Freya since that day. Two weeks after Fay disappeared, Cas's father pulled out of the marriage arrangement. He believed his son was better off with another princess after what he heard about Fay. Her carelessness and unprofessionalism did sit well with him. It was about the same time that word got out that the princess was extremely sick and no one but one maid and the queen were allowed to see her. With fear of her crimes being found out the queen shower dome mercy and let the princess stay in her room as long as stayed chained up. Ever since that day, Fay had chains on both ankles. They were long enough to go anywhere in the room, but were just short enough to keep her from reaching her door. Now, keeping up with the rumors, the Queen barely fed her. Her meals consistented of a piece of ham, bread and water. Her hair had grown out a lot, she was a lot skinny than most should be, her eye sunken, all colors in her face was now gone.Fay looked like the living dead. Most days, Fay would end up throwing it up, because of the same taste everyday or she would be so hungry she would feel like throwing up, but nothing would come out. Fay's once sparkling childlike eyes were dull and had no wonder in them. Most days she sat by the window that had bars on them. The queen kept guards outside her door, due to the fear of someone catching her disease. Reading books all day was her only enjoyment, although most of them were on the history of the country. Once in a while the maid who was assigned to her would sneak in a good book. And if she could, she would tell her how everyone was doing, especially Ellie. Oh how she missed her. Fay cried herself to sleep every night asking for her mother, knowing that, that wish would never come true. Eventually she gave up and just started to listen more and more to the Queen, becoming her puppet.

As the time went on, Prince Ren begged Edgar to let him stay. He wrote a letter, explaining to his father the situation, and that translates to him lying. He just said he really like Fay -which was the truth- and he wanted to spend more time with her. Simple as that. Edgar strongly advised against lying, but he didn’t understand.
The worst part was that Ren’s brothers wrote letters, asking for him to come back. He almost gave in, since he was a bit homesick too, but he still wanted to stay. Something very bad was happening to Fay, and he needed to save her. First thing he needed to do was see if Ellie knew anything, since Ren was mostly kept in the dark.

@Simon-Says

Ellie had turned into something resembling a vampire. She'd become deathly pale from lack of sunlight, and had stopped caring about her appearance so much that she was on the verge of being fired because she'd lost her uniform for the 15th time. Every time she passed the queen, she had to for e herself not to throw everything within reach at the woman. The first week, the other maids had to physically restrain her. Other than work, Ellie had avoided all kinds of social interaction unless it was absolutely necessary for her survival, though she didn't need food very often, since her guilt made her stomache feel more like a birdhouse. After all, the whole ordeal was her fault; if she'd tried harder to stop Fay, none of this would've happened.
Ellie often ran into Prince Ren while aimlessly wandering the castle (quite literally, in some cases). And now, she'd done it again. She tripped and fell over, nearly blacking out. She mumbled out a "sorry," and attempted to stand up, failing miserably.
(I swear to god, every time I tried to write Fay, it corrected to Gay, and I'm litERALLY DYING of laughter. This should not be as funny as it is.)

(Haha lol that’s gold)
“Ellie,” Ren’s eyes widened when he saw her. “I need to talk to you,” He said swiftly and quietly as he grabbed one of her hands and pulled her to her feet. Ellie looked horrible… With Fay gone, it had taken a toll.

@Rvan group

“Come with me,” He said softly, in fear of listening ears. “I don’t want to talk about it here.” Ren began walking down the hall. He already told Edgar what he planned to do -even though the translator did not approve he still wanted Ren to be safe- and the man was already stationed outside of his room to make sure no one came in without permission.

@Simon-Says

Ellie sighed softly and followed. She was getting a headache just from thinking about the interaction. Ir that could've been dehydration. Either way, her head was starting to throb.

@Rvan group

It wasn’t long before Ren’s room came into sight. He opened the door and slipped inside, and once they were both in Edgar shut it from the outside. “Ellie, I think we both know Fay isn’t ‘sick’,” Ren began softly, staring at the ground.

@Simon-Says

Ellie immediately turned around, away from Ren, and put her hands over her face. She was silent for several moments. "She's probably dead," she eventually answered hoarsely.
