"Alright, I'll let you two take care of that part. I'm not good with long distance." Luc nodded, readying one of his knives, just in case of the worst. Seemed the person who hired him is still near the palace, were they trying to do something else?
“Well… I’ll tell you the places that you will have to know. As you know, Syzen’s meeting room is the deepest room of the left hall after the first corridor while Frensa’s on the right hall. Pass the second corridor, the left hall is where we are, the nursing room and the room deeper down the hall is the armory while the right hall—“ he gestured in the direction “—will be your rooms which are labeled clearly. The third corridor’s left hall is the library, the right hall is a small Arena. The second and third floor of the palace are filled with Frensa’s Knights’ rooms — our rooms, which are, once again, all labeled. The fourth floor is the Viscounts’ floor and the fifth floor is the Prince’s. Outside the palace, to the right is the archery range and the outside field and the left is where we just came from, known to the Knights as the Silent Field…” he breathed before continuing.
“That should be it for the things you need to know about for now for what’s inside the palace. As for outside, there’re different kinds of shops scattered all around so it should be easy to find whatever you would want to buy”
Lata simply stood there and stared at him. "I have a feeling I might forget some of that," she said with a small frown. She remembered the floors above their current one as the description was brief. The bottom one had been more in detail though, her brain getting a bit confused. At least it was obvious where Syzen's and Frenza's meeting rooms were. Sighing, the girl thanked him and turned to go out of the room to follow Draco's directions.
"What's with all this commotion, can't an unemployed man get some rest?" Quebec stood up after whispering his complaint to himself. He approached the door and opened it "How can I help you?" He hid his furious attitude.
Not long after Lucisan finished his thought process, two figures can be seen running down the hall on the third floor; one clearly chasing down the other. The one who was running away had swaying black hair and was quite tall. They stopped by the window. The chaser had a pistol out and was aiming at the figure, slowly moving towards the other one who met a dead end. Their only means of escape would be the window that would lead to where Vincent, Lucisan, and Azure were.
A figure dashed through the halls, tripping on Lata’s foot and fell down face-first onto the floor.
“Ow ow, sorry, are you okay?” He turned back to see what had happened to Lata.
The figure who stood outside the door was a beautiful figure with a blue and green oversized shirt.
“Hiya, is Scorpio here?” The female figurine spoke in a soft and quiet tone.
Quebec looked down at the figure with a raised brow. He was definitely questioning her fashion
"Uh… Hey bro, you got company" He turned around to face Matthew and gestured his head nodding towards the door.

"I stand corrected, I guess I'll be helping," Luc muttered, grabbing one of his scalpels. It wasn't fast, but it was easy to cut flesh and a distraction untill he could get his knife.
Matthew raised a brow and walked towards the door.
The figure gestured her hand in an inviting manner.
Matthew was a little confused at first but leaned down to the figure nonetheless.
The figurine then whispered something to Matthew which resulted in…
“Crap uh, I think I’ll be going now” with that, not waiting for an answer, Matthew ran down the hall back towards his room.
The female figurine bowed a bit with a giggle then followed Matthew down the hall.
Vincent tried contacting the agent on the third floor who was the one holding the pistol.
“Why aren’t you shooting?”
While listening to the answer, Vincent turned to Azure and gestured for him to aim up.
“Alright, just make sure he doesn’t die on his way down”
With that, the agent rushed towards the culprit and jumped against the window while pushing him down.
Azure took aim and fired, damaging the culprit’s waist.
Upon landing, silver chains appeared from the ground and tied the culprit’s body to the ground, allowing the first Selas agent to move out of the chains.
“Lucisan, can you do the same thing you did earlier with the… powder, I guess?” Vincent requested.
Quebec smiled and nodded before slamming the door close and locking it.
"Finally!" He yelled "I can sleep in peace"
He got on his bed and lied down, his skin receiving the soft touch of the pillow and the blanket.
"It's not powder, but sure." Luc said, stepping closer to the figure in chains and tilting his head, his scalpel still out as a gas fell over the area. "Who are you? What is your purpose for this?"
“Knight’s name Crux, the Cross Constellation Knight. Pure jealousy and envy would probably be the right word… I’m tired of being the ones in the shadows, only a Knight people know of as a name and not a person. I’m sick of it all. It’s always the same people who are in the spotlight, always the same Knights who get all the damn credit…” the chained man stopped to breathe for a second.
“You may see me as a murderer, a culprit of a crime in that sense but trust me, as soon as news about Horologium being killed reach the other Knights, I will be regarded as a legend by most of them whether in a famous or infamous way, I don’t care, as long as they know me that’s the only thing I care about” he smiled as he explained himself, a maniacal grin for that matter.
Not long after feeling the pleasureful relaxing sensation, Quebec fell into a deep sleep. He would be unconscious of his surroundings as he sleep his exhaustion away.
"Well that is a sick way of seeing it. You would make a very good Candorin." Luc hummed, watchung the man's face change.
“Oh? Is that an invitation? If so, I’m more than happy to take it” Crux smiled gained, looking straight into Lucisan’s eyes.
Vincent turned to Luc.
“What should we do with him?”
"Murder." He shrugged in response, moving his small sharp knife to the others neck.
(Ah, gotcha’)
“Dorado” the Knight replied blankly.
“Your room’s on the first floor, right hall” they answered as they turned towards the hall itself. From Pasha’s angle, he would see that the figure had an earpiece on. This is further confirmed by the figure’s next actions…
“Yes? D2 speaking, what is it A?…”
They paused for a bit then.
“Ah, got it, thanks mate” they hung up the call.
“Sorry to cut it, I have to go meet someone so… excuse me” their body disappeared, leaving only a sword stuck on the ground.
Pasha was just about to speak, when Dorado's body vanished. He sighed a little, once again alone, then noticed the sword sticking out of the ground. "Now why would he leave his sword behind?" he mumbled, advancing towards it. After circling around the blade, like a critic in an art gallery, he reached out his hand towards it, pulling it from where it stood. Pasha tossed it from hand to hand, it was surprisingly light to handle. After staring at the sword for another few moments, he gripped it tightly and closed his eyes before yelling. "Will someone please tell me what it is I must do!" he knew no one would reply, but it was worth a try.
He left the room, making his way down to where Dorado had told him his room was. Opening the door with a sigh, he entered the room, sitting lightly on the edge of the bed as he stared at the sword in his hand.
Vincent nodded.
“Would you like to do the honors?” He invited, locking the chains on Crux even harder than before.
As the sword was being examined, a knock came from outside Pasha’s room.
“Excuse me” the voice from outside the room was an old and crisp voice, not young and clear like Tucana’s or Dorado’s.
"Hm, how long can you hold the chains and how much can they hold? I'm a bit rusty with my techniques, so they aren't as good as they used to."
“For about an hour up to two hours, as much as you would want as long as they don’t rust, and that’s completely fine” Vincent replied, summoning another chain to shut Crux up as he was about to speak. He then sent the chained man a cruel gaze.
Luc gave a wicked smile, one that every one of his families portraits ahad. "Perfect." He hummed, setting out a few knives on a rock next to him. "Say, what do you think you deserve?"
Vincent released the chains around Crux’s mouth so he could speak.
“What I deserve? Fame, of course!” He smiled wickedly without any second thought in his mind.
“I’m a Knight that will be remembered by everyone, and I don’t care in what way!”
"Hmm," Luc muttered, an idea forming in his mind. "I think we can make that happen." He gave an unnerving smile and selected a thin and long blade. "This should do the trick."
“What are you planning exactly?” Azure asked as he was sitting down and readjusting his rifle’s scope.
Vincent nodded in support to Azure’s question.
"Public display. Once I finish with this, he'll be skewered on a spike. Effective for sending a message." Luc said curtly, putting the first cut on Crux's cheek.
“Oh damn, I was gonna suggest sticking a cross through his chest ‘cause you know… Crux, the Cross Constellation?” Azure brought up, strapping the scope back on successfully and took aim, not really wanting to fire at anything.
"Hm, could be skewered through the chest, could always add a cross." Luc hummed as Crux let out a loud scream as he cut into the other cheek. "Oh be quiet, pathetic."
