Luc didn't comment on the glance, his full attention onto his books. His pencil lights scratched his page as he shaded a human bone. This one was the bones and body and where to hit that would hurt.

Draco chuckled a bit.
“Yeah yeah, I know” they then got inside the palace, near the library was where they came in. Draco then immediately headed to the nursing room for the knights where some doctors and nurses were working.

Lata watched the knight walk off with a small shake of her head. Turning to the side, she noticed the massive seeming library. She wondered if now would be a good time to explore the room, to search for spell books. Surely this place had them. Draco had also told her to rest. Then again, when did she listen to anyone? Plus, she had no idea where her room would be. If it was even in the palace. Out of ideas as to what to do, the girl opened the door carefully. Scanning the room, she was amazed at how many shelves that were inside. All of them filled with tomes and novels of different size and length. Inviting herself inside, Lata began browsing the titles.

The figure eyed Quebec.
“Your room’s downstairs, right hall” he mentioned as he continued to examine the corpse. Neither of the figures took the letter from Quebec and it looked like neither of them wanted it.

The barista walked pass Luc again before they went back to the cashier.
“Excuse me everyone—“ he started “—the shop’s closing in half an hour so if anyone wants to order anything, please order now”

The Librarian, the Knight Reticulum, turned to Lata but didn’t say anything. He just looked at her as she browsed through one of the newer titles; The Myths of the Dead which came in just two days before she arrived.

Luc walked back up to the counter. "Can I get five black coffees to go?" He asked the barista, gently tossing his empty cup into the trash. He would finish working in the motel, probably.

@CasiCasino group

(I would if I haven’t deleted it… unfortunately)

The barista nodded.
“Five black coffees to go, got it sir” he jotted the order down and handed the piece of paper to the back.
“It’s been a long day hasn’t it?” he was writing down the other customers’ orders as he asked.

(Ooof, it you start it back up, tag me!)

Luc nodded tiredly. "To simplify it, yeah, it's been a very long day." He looked just about dead on his feet and honestly could be a zombie, a few scratches on his arms that have some bandages lightly plastered onto them.

(AAAAAAA)

Taking the novel off the shelf, she turned to the back cover. She didn't know why, but she hadn't guessed it would be a fiction novel. It seemed a bit dark for her tastes, but nonetheless, she tucked it under her arm before looking for spell books. After wandering for awhile, she found one with a small mix of everything. Potion making, defense spells, and even a few for attacks. The last seemed to require the most energy however. Not really caring, she added it to her items and made her way towards the front desk.

(I can die happily now… I am so happy it hurts)

The barista sighed.
“That’s sad” he eyed the bandages.
“Five black coffees!” Another person yelled from the kitchen as he set the bag of coffee cups on the counter between the cashier and the kitchen.
The barista picked up the bag and handed it to Lucisan.
“Thank you for coming, we invite you back anytime” he ended with a small bow and a smile.

(Oh yeah, definitely)

The Librarian signed the papers for the book lending process.
“You can have them for as long as a month, after that, you’ll have to come back and let me sign a continuation paper for ya. The fine if you lose them is 200 dollars per book, hope you understand”

Luc gave a peace sign before grabbing the coffees. He made sure the lids were on before he placed them in his bag and closed it. "Thanks, don't die." For some reason, that was his goodbye, what the fuck Luc?

Luc headed out the door, setting a glare onto the streets. This small little bitch looked like he would kill anyone that tried to talk to him. If someone bumps into me and spills my coffee, I'm going to shank them.

@CasiCasino group

As Luc headed down the streets, absolutely no one came into contact with him. Everyone just hurried back to their homes. The sun was, after all, setting and at quite a fast pace as well.

Good. Luc thought in victory, heading to a motel. "Hey, can I get a room?" He asked the clerk, who looked down and shook her head. "Sorry kid, we don't have any rooms open." Luc sighed but nodded and walked back out, taking a sip of his coffee.

As Luc walked out, a person in a black cloak ran away from the palace. The cloak covered their face and almost their entire body. Their cloak was covered in blood and they were breathing heavily as they ran. They were also holding something but it was too hard to tell.

Luc just sighed, moving to stand in front of the figure. "Hey, is that blood yours or someone else's?" He asked, this man is too tired to have survival instincts.

"… I have coffee." He offered up, unzipping his bag and holding a black coffee in the air. "It's black, but I have sugar in my bag."

@CasiCasino group

The figure paused, turned back and sighed. They jumped down from the wall and stood there in front of Luc.
“…a cup might be nice…” they mentioned, their eyes shined pass the shadows of the cloak; a shiny silver color. The item in their hand was also shown; a pendant of some sort with Liestha’s symbol on it.

(I forgot which kingdom that was-)

"Alrighty." He handed over the cup and closed his bag. "Wait, you want sugar?" Luc asked, face tired and almost completely unemotional. "Also, if you were stealing from the palace, what'd you steal? I won't narc."

@CasiCasino group

(The Technology Kingdom)

“Nah, I’m good” they answered and took a sip.
“A dagger was all I stole” they then took another sip.
“And then I got chased down by the guards, damn them, they stained my cloak and now it looks ridiculous”

Deleted user

(Thanks dude)
"It does kinda look like shit now." Luc agreed, taking a sip of his own coffee. "I'm honestly surprised they even have gaurds." He muttered. "So far I've stolen like… three books."

@ADog

Quebec nodded and headed down the spiral stairs to the first floor. Travelling to the right wing, he found himself infront of his room. Without hesitation, he entered the room heading directly towards the bathroom. He took off his stained clothes and folded them before entering the shower to clean himself.

Holy shit, these must be first editions or something for them to cost that much, Lata thought, though externally she nodded. "Thanks," the girl said, taking the novels. As she walked off, she thought about Draco again. Well, his suggestion anyways. Physically, she wasn't all that tired, but her magic ability felt nearly drained. If only she had her crystal necklace on hand. When worn, it had the ability to relieve her magical withdrawals. It wasn't an instant replenish, more like how aspirin for a headache worked. It also brought up the memories of when she was younger and when her friend gave her the crystal in the first place. She missed those days.
Now outside the library, Lata was heavily unsure as to where to go. She was unsure if she even had her own quarters here in the palace. Not knowing where else to go, the girl started in the direction Draco had went. There was bound to be someone to ask despite her pride making her feel dumb for considering that option.
