"So," Seth shifted slightly. "What do you like to do?" He was silently tapping one of his fingers on his knee.
"So," Seth shifted slightly. "What do you like to do?" He was silently tapping one of his fingers on his knee.
“Well I like archery” she replied “ I don’t have much time for other stuff I’ve been a bit busy with this” she then pointed at her neck
(I just finished my first play in front of a play)
(Cool)
"Archery is fun," Seth commented. "I like to practice, when I'm not being sent on missions to either save the world, or save a kingdom. I do have one goal that I've yet to meet, which is why I keep going."
“Cool. What do you like to do”
"In what ever free time I have, I like to explore, or read. I really want to find the time to go ride elephants," Seth said kind of sheepishly.
“That sounds amazing ” she paused for a moment “ it’s been great talking to you, I think I’m gonna go to bed” she untied a bed roll of her bag and started to lay it out
"Yeah, we're gonna be leaving early tomorrow morning," Seth stood up and walked across the room bringing back a wool blanket. He held it out to Kat. "It's going to drop well bellow freezing tonight, you're going to want this."
“You keep it, my bedroll is quite thick and i have slept in colder Temperatures”
Seth shrugged, but placed the blanket on the chair and walked away. Tolkalee came over and placed a cup next to her. "This will help keep any infection away," he explained. Then he glanced after Seth. "How'd you do that?"
“Thank you wolves attacked me”
"No, I mean how'd you get him to open up like that?" Tolkalee gestured to Seth.
“ oh I think it be because we have similar pasts”
"That's incredible," Tolkalee said. "He didn't open up to me like that for two years, and we are practically brothers. We've known each other for our entire lives, and he only opened up to me, after he trusted me fully. That means he must trust you, a lot."
“Really?” She said looking over at Seth
"Yeah, and if you have his trust, then you have my trust," he stood up and began walking away. Glaning back once. "Welcome to the freedom fight."
“Thanks” she laid down and went to sleep
Tolkalee walked over to the window and stationed himself to keep watch. In case they would have to get out sooner then expected.
(Should we time skip to morning)
(We could do that yeah)
( I’m fine with doing that, do you want to)
Light began filtering into the house through a window. Seth had taken over watch in the middle of the night. So he was at the window. Seeing the sun rise over the mountains was beautiful. It was one of the best things to look forward to. It was at that peaceful point of day where no one was up yet but you never felt alone. With a sigh Seth stood up and called for everyone to wake up.
She sat up and stretched her arms “morning”
Tolkalee came out already packed and ready to leave. "Hey kids, we ready to go?" Seth rolled his eyes at Tolkalee's comment.
"We have three hours still before we have to leave," he retorted playfully. "And even after that we still would have fifteen minutes to escape before they caught up."
She got up and winced there was still pain but not as severe she started rolling up the bedroll “extra time couldn’t hurt.”
Tolkalee noticed her wince. "I have to change that bandage anyway," he said letting his backpack down by the door. "Hey, dude can you grab my uh…"
Seth grabbed a roll of cloth Tolkalee used for bandages and tossed it over his shoulder. "Left side," he called. Tolkalee caught it with no trouble.
"Thank you," he said walking over to Kat.
