“Technically. it only grows when I use a large amount of magic and sometimes grows over time”
“Technically. it only grows when I use a large amount of magic and sometimes grows over time”
"If you didn't use magic at all, how long would you say you have before you'd die?" Seth sat down in a chair across from her.
“I honestly have no idea. I can use magic it’s just large spells that lengthen it like this” she held out her hand fire erupted in it “see” she closed her hand it extinguished
Seth nodded, and began thinking. "I wish I could help you figure it out, but I, unfortunately, have a war to go and fight. We have to leave soon anyway, assuming my friend gets back in time. I really do wish I could help you figure it out though."
“I’m coming to help with the war as well”
"Oh," Seth blinked in surprise. "Well then, would you care to accompany us?"
“That would be great” “I don’t want something like this happening again” he said jokingly indicating his leg
"How did that happen anyway?" Seth asked gesturing to her leg.
“I got attacked by wolves I used a large fire spell to scare them off”
"Ah, the wolves in these parts tend to be more aggressive for some reason," Seth commented. "They only seem to leave you alone when you have more than one person with you."
“Yeah”
(Got to go to bed)
(Hello)
(Hi we good to go?")
(I think so)
Seth stood up and walked to the fire, placing another log on it. "So where you from?" He asked.
“ I’m from a rain forest far south but I didn’t live their long, I was banished from the village because of my curse”
"That's dumb," Seth scoffed. "So pretty much they told you have fun, figure it out yourself?"
“No, it was out of fear , I don’t blame them for it”
"They were your friends and family, they should have helped you even if they were scared," Seth looked at her closely.
“You are right there”
Seth suddenly shook his head, and pressed his palms to his temples. His head pounding as he thought of when he'd been left to die. Unable to stop himself he sat down hard on the floor. His so called friends had left him, while he'd been critically injured. The only reason he'd survived was because he'd been found by Tolkalee. He promised himself that he would never leave anyone behind, after that night. But thinking about it actually hurt physically and mentally.
She stood up and sat down next to him “ are you okay?”
All he could manage was a shake of his head. He couldn't talk without the threat of crying, which he wouldn't. Not here, he had to be the strong one, for a bit longer.
He patted Him on the back trying to comfort him
