(Yeah)
Jackson sat up suddenly looking to his backpack with the egg he stood up the tower was a great vantage point he looked out the broken murmured “damn” he hid back behind the broken wall hoping the group didn’t see him
Tolkalee froze in his tracks. He'd been near the tower, and suddenly had the feeling that they were't alone. He hadn't heard anything, but and he didn't smell anything. He wasn't sure what gave him the feeling that someone, or something, else was there. Maybe that was it, maybe he'd felt something in the ground, or on the air. Whatever it was he looked around again, and started actually checking the area to make sure no one was there.
“What was that in the tower” she started to head over to the tower
Tolkalee glanced over at her. "Did you see something?" he asked. Seth was walking with her coming to stand by Tolk.
“Something or someone red”
"Stay here," Tolkalee said moving towards the tower. "I'll go check it out, and let you know if it's safe."
“I’ll be fine” she walked through the broken door
He murmured “shit, shit, shit!” They are coming up how can I escape I’m gonna have to fight damn he started to get ready to use his flames
Tolkalee stopped Kat. "I didn't say wait here because I think you can't handle yourself," Tolkalee said looking at her. "The air feels tense, which means that whatever you saw and whatever may be up there knows that we know it's up there, and it's scared. Possibly hostile I don't know," he glanced at the half broken ladder leading to the up stairs.
Seth took a small step forward. "Tolk is really good at talking people down, which is why if whoever is up there thinks we're hostile or here to hurt them, Tolk goes in and lets them know that we're not here to hurt them," he explained.
“ tolkee would seem more threatening than me,and if it is I creature I might be able to reason with it I lived in forest for half of my life I can understand animals, I don’t want anyone to get hurt”
Tolkalee looked back at her again, then he glanced at Seth. "Alright, but if you can't get through to them, come back down and let me try. I don't want you either, getting more hurt, or opening your current wound," he sighed after a moment.
She started walking up the stairs slowly “we are not here to hurt you “
He stood up “prove it” some smoke puffing out of his nose
She walked up slowly over the lip of the last stair she took her bow and placed it on the ground “if you think I will hurt you kill me right now
He just stood there thinking is it a trap is she lying maybe they won’t hurt me they don’t now my magic so if I put down my weapons they’ll think I’m surrendering yeah I’ll do that he put down his weapons after a minute of thinking I won’t hurt you as long as you don’t hurt the egg he looked over at his back pack
She sighed “Tolkee, Seth come on up”
Tolkalee came in just before Seth. He gave a small smile as he came in. "Hello, I hope you don't mind, we just came here to take refuge for the night, we'll be gone tomorrow morning."
“Where are you heading to?” He asked
"A war," Tolkalee instantly replied. "Which is why he and I," he gestured between himself and Seth. "Are completely decked out in weaponry."
And they were. Tolk had dual wield swords strapped to his hips, a single wield sword just under one of the duels. A dagger strapped to his thigh, and a long bow on his back. Seth had a long sword, a dagger, and a re-curve bow.
“Oh, sorry I thought you were here to kill me”
"Nope, we're here to stop for the night. And then continue in the morning," Seth repeated what Tolk had said earlier.
“Is it okay if I go with you, I’ve been lost in this forest for a while”
"Uh, sure, you can if you want," Tolkalee said. "But we are going to a war, that is not in our favor."
“Is it worse than being hunted?” He walked back and picked up his pack carefully “how long would it take to get there?”
"At the rate we're going we should reach them in the next day or so," Seth responded.
“Probably longer these forests they’ll scramble you unless your lucky”
Tolkalee smiled. "Do you know where we are?" he asked. Not actually sounding like he needed an answer.
“In a forest” he said plainly
She chuckled quietly “how long have you been here?”
“About a week”
