A woman suddenly appeared in front of Kat. She was holding a spear with the tip pointed to the ground by her foot. Her hair was long and white, and her eyes were a dark purple. She was wearing metal armor and a deep red under shirt. "Hello darling," she said in a sickly sweet voice. "How are you this fine day?" The enemies around Kat backed up and formed a circle around both women.
Kay stood up “great, how about you”
"Lovely, such wonderful manners, you should learn something from this girl Seth," she looked past Kat. Seth was being held down by almost six people. One of which had a dagger to his throat. He still was fighting them.
"You know, I like my manners just the way they are thank you very much," he panted. "What do you want Kara?"
"See what I mean, you could teach him a few things," the woman, Kara, sighed placing her free hand on her hip. "Doesn't even ask how I've been for the last few years."
“Are you here to fight us” she said with a hint of worry she thought to herself she seems to be quite experienced “are you on their side” she indicates the people surrounding them”
"You I don't want to fighⁿt," Kara replied. "But I am with the other people here. Now Seth on the other hand, I have a bone to pick with." She walked past Kat and over to Seth and crouched next to him. "You may go, I have no problem with you."
"You I don't want to fight," Kara replied. "But I am with the other people here. Now Seth on the other hand, I have a bone to pick with." She walked past Kat and over to Seth and crouched next to him. "You may go, I have no problem with you."
Kat blocked her “ i am not leaving him behind”
"Oh honey, I'm not giving you a choice. Take him back to camp, I'll deal with this one," Kara smiled, almost psychotically, at Kat. Seth was pulled to his feet, fighting the whole way. Once on his feet he kicked the legs out from under one of the people holding him. Twisted himself around, slinging two people into each other. And pulled himself free of the people holding him. Not giving them time to recover and grab him again he jumped over to Kat.
"We're no match for them here," he panted. "We have to get back to camp and get help."
“Got it “ she ran with seth as Kara faded out of sight kat asked “do you know her”
He glanced back as they ran. "Unfortunately," he replied after a moment. "She was my old General. Until me and fourteen others went rogue on her and backed out."
“How long will it take for her to catch up”
"A few minutes tops," Seth slid to a halt and leaped into a tree. "So we're gonna buy ourselves some more time and screw up the trail."
She climbed up a tree “ should we split up”
"Absolutely not," Seth turned to look at her. "If we did that we would be asking to die. She might catch up to us yes, but I would rather have her catch up while we're together, than while we're apart. If she catches up and we aren't together she will not hesitate to kill us."
“Yeah” she leaped to the next branch
Seth went haywire in the branches. Bouncing from one tree to the next, sometimes hitting a branch and just bouncing right off it. Other times he'd hit the trunk of the tree go to the ground and run laps around the tree like a mad man. Then he leaped up next Kat. "That should confuse her for a few minutes at least. Let's go."
She nodded and then started leaping from branch to branch
They continued forward at a fast pace for a long time before the ruins came back into view. "We're almost there," Seth breathed. Something suddenly shot out of the brush below them and knocked Seth out of mid air. "Shit!" he snapped as he crashed to the ground. "Fuck," he snapped trying to scramble to his feet. A figure appeared above him.
"Why are you leaving so soon?" Kara asked standing over him. An arrow shot from somewhere and buried itself in Kara's shoulder. Tolkalee appeared with the other man.
"Because he has a date, and it's not with you," Tolkalee called to her.
Kat dropped down behind Kara and grabbed her and held her knife to her throat “ I think it is in your best interest to surrender” she said in a threatening
Jackson drew his sword he sniffed the air “are there anymore of them?”
"Oh most likely," Tolkalee said. "She never travels alone."
Kara brought her hand up slowly and rested it on Kat's hand. "Kat dear, you don't stand a chance going melee. Not against me anyway." She then easily twisted away, and had her sword out instantly. "Next time you really shouldn't try it." She swung and was only barely stopped by Seth jumping up and blocking the blade with his sword.
"Don't let her sword touch you," he warned. "It's poison tipped."
Her left hand started to glow “who said i was just going melee”
Jackson breathed fire on to his blade “ you are surrounded, just give up peacefully”
"Peacefully?" Kara smiled. "Oh darling, I never give up. And the word peacefully means nothing to me." She twisted her sword away from Seth's and kicked him away. Then she turned on Jackson.
Jackson swing his sword downward at kara “your choice”
Kat drew her bow and backed up and nocked a arrow
Kara easily blocked Jackson's sword, with her's and turned to look at Kat. "Fire that arrow and see what happens to your little friend here," she challenged, a wicked grin on her face as she suddenly grabbed hold of Jackson's wrist.
