"I don't lie miss, Or rather. Elizabeth Harper." The man laughed again as he dodged the whip easily.
"Such a fiesty woman, and you were so kind to the deceased earlier." He giggled again.
"I don't lie miss, Or rather. Elizabeth Harper." The man laughed again as he dodged the whip easily.
"Such a fiesty woman, and you were so kind to the deceased earlier." He giggled again.
Liz scowled as he said her name and dodged her attack. Admittedly, that was the first time she used a whip as a weapon. ”You have no idea how fiesty I can be.” she growled. ”Now tell me; who are you and how do you know my name?” she demanded.
"I am Carshmail. The lord of darkness, and… Well, When I kill someone, I inherit some of their memories, which included your name." He smirked and leaned against the cave calmly.
Liz didn't let her stance waver, despite feeling like her heart had just been broken a little more. ”How do I know I can believe any of that? For all I know, you're just a shapeshifting trickster with a seriously messed up sense of humor.” she pointed out.
(is this still open?)
(Yes @megandawnkorain )
"Because I can also go and tell you about your past. At least what you told the deceased, what was his name again? John? Jams? Ah! James." He shrugged.
”That doesn't prove much. You can't even remember his name.” Liz argued, looking for any opportunity to poke holes in his claims. ”How long have you been here?”
(What races are there in this? Or am I allowed to make up my own? I have one that I've been using so,,, Oh also, what roles are still open?)
(there are, orcs, humans, elves, dragoon which is basically draconian but without the wings and if you want to make another race, you can send up the details and I'll review it for you.)
(Other than that, what do you mean by roles?)
"A while," He shrugged.
"I only killed him when he went outside, set up an illusion and came in, in this… Horrible body."
"How can you like him?" He looked at her with disdain.
”Why I love him is none of your damn business.” she told him matching his look of contempt. ”What illusion? Did it have to do with the red flashes I saw earlier?” she asked sternly, but unable to keep the note of curiosity out of her voice.
(nvm about the roles. I need to do homework and then I'll fill out the form)
"I don't know what you're talking about," He laughed some more as he teleported right in front of her.
"But that doesn't matter does it, your love is dead!" He giggled.
”I don't believe you.” she said plainly. He doesn't know? Some ”lord of darkness”… This guy acts more like a dark trickster Fae than anything else. …Wish there was a mind-reading magic or something… Wait… Maybe I could… ”Don’t think that I didn't notice you didn't answer my question. Again. What illusion are you talking about?” she asked, letting go of the familiar dark threads and causing them to disappear.
"You really are a slow thinker, the flash of red wasn't the illusion, you can't tell when an illusion has been set, that red light was just me planting what I call… Mind control." He laughed louder.
“Well, excuse me for being someone who still has a lot to learn about magic.” she snarked, rubbing her forehead slightly. This guy’s near-continuous laughing was starting to give her a headache. ”Mind-control? For what? Damn it. Answer me! What. Did. You. Do?” she growled.
"Oh nothing, I just used mind control to bring him to me, then, killed him and consumed his mind." He smirked.
"Like I have said multiple times."
Liz frowned. Out of everything this guy said so far… that last answer did make sense. ”And the illusion? What was it for?” she asked a bit calmer but still untrusting. Please wake up soon…
"To make sure you didn't see, that would ruin the fun now wouldn't it." He giggled.
"And don't expect to wake up, I control whether you leave or not."
”Excuse me, What?!?!” Liz exclaimed, shocked that he seemed to read her thoughts. ”How do you… Great. Out of everything, now you're in my head?” she groaned, hoping she was wrong.
"And whatever happens inside happens outside to." He added.
She nodded. ”Yeah… I was afraid there was some kind of Matrix angle to this kind of thing.” she murmured.
"Meaning James is dead."
"And there is no way for him to come back." He grinned.
Liz glared again. ”Stop saying that. I won't believe it until I wake up. Call me stubborn but I want a professional opinion.” she told him firmly. ”Now, what do you want?”
