"Hopefully," He said as he sighed.
"I'll try and make sure that won't happen."
"Hopefully," He said as he sighed.
"I'll try and make sure that won't happen."
”You won't be alone in that.” she promised him. ”I’ll help you, James. Any way I can.” she said squeezing his hand affectionately.
"Thank you… Love," He smiled and looked at the sunset before them, nearby, birds chirping.
"Let us continue, no?"
She blushed a little at the epithet but nodded. ”Lead the way, Jimmy.” she smiled at him. ”Maybe we can actually go swimming while we're here.”
"That would be fun, if we did a race though, I would obviously win," He grinned.
”Is that a challenge, darling?” she smirked back, raising a brow at his attitude.
"Of course," He chuckled and said as he glanced around him.
"What should we do? Explore or swim first?"
She looked around for a moment. ”Let’s explore first. I would like to see more of this place before we wake up.” she decided.
"If you say so, your highness," He grinned and walked back into the forest with Liz, taking in the green scenery and fresh, sweet air.
”Careful. There's already a princess on the ship and I’m far from being royalty.” She laughed as she walked with him through the beautiful setting.
"You are to me," He chuckled and glanced around.
"How I would love to live here, away from all the fighting… It's so peaceful…" He said in thought.
Well, that's a first. She blushed, not really use to this kind of treatment. ”Flatterer.”
She nodded a little at his wish. ”It really is. It seems like a paradise here. Maybe… Maybe if this place actually exists on the planet, we could live here.” she laughed lightly. ”Talk about your ”dream home”.”
"Perhaps, it matters how things are later on political wise," He glanced at her and smiled.
"I'd like that, us two living here, if our relationship goes further, of course, If it won't, guess I'll just wait for you patiently," He said softly as he plucked a flower seemingly glowing dark blue with a calming aura around it.
"Here you go… My love," He warmly handed the flower to her and looked at her with a complex gaze.
She smiled back still blushing, but faintly now. ”It seems to be going pretty good, so far. If you're not opposed to us living together then I wouldn't mind it either.” Her smile grew as she saw the beautiful flower and gently took it from him. ”Thank you… sweetheart.” she giggled a little.
"Well, lucky for you, I'm not opposed to it," He chuckled and kissed her cheek.
"Let's go to that clearing, we can then decide what to do from there,"
She blushed a little more at the idea of actually living with him. She honestly hadn't expected this when she said that they could live here. Seeing the clearing he pointed out, she nodded and walked with him in that direction.
"Daylight is soon to finish, and so will the dream, at least I believe so, perhaps not, If worst comes, we may have to think of some things to keep us from dying, especially since I believe this is supposed to mirror that planet." He glanced at the nearby mountains.
"In the night, from what we… From what I understand, things… Come out," He looked away,
"So, we should one, check if we can use our magic, two, finish what two things we wanted to do, then make a camp somewhere safe,"
She looked at him with a raised brow at the semi-ominous warning and sudden shift in tone. She had almost suspected that this was, obviously, not a normal dream but the thought of something else being here… something that might possibly be able to kill them had never crossed her mind. ”What kinds of things?” she asked, looking around cautiously, already reaching for her mimicry of James’s magic.
"I don't know, Like…" He thought about it, reaching deep into his mind.
"Goblins, Direwolves, Lizard type creatures and… I-impossible, they look exactly like the swarm," He froze and he glanced around.
"They are different compared to them, they aren't so infectious and deadly but… They're like a less aggressive version." He murmured.
"But, we should worry about this later, from what I can tell, we have 3 hours till sundown. In that time, we set up camp in a safe place, somewhere like in the trees and find food. We can use that to complete our exploring fun, then if we have enough time, we can have a quick swim. I feel like, the water here is special or something," He glanced at her apologetically.
"I'm sorry, I ruined the moment but… It had to be done," He sighed.
”No, it's ok. I'm glad you told me, I hate being left out of the loop.” she told him, more on guard now as she looked around. She had heard of ”mythical” Direwolves and Goblins. But Lizard creatures and something that resembled the Swarm? That made her more than a little nervous. ”That sounds like a good plan.” she agreed. ”We should get started… Though I am curious about the water, now.”
"Soon, let's start with finding a safe area to sleep," He then looked around and began to see if there was any viable area for them to rest.
He put a hand on her shoulder beforehand though, squeezing it reassuringly.
She nodded and placed her hand on top of his, grateful for the support. ”Clearing is definitely out. It's too exposed and easy to ambush, even if we can use our magic.” she said thoughtfully. ”You think they’ll come from the mountains? I saw you looking over there.”
"Those mountains look very similar to the ones at the planet where we crashed, the scanner showed the exact same layout too when we scanned the area…" He glanced back at the mountains with a frown,
She followed his gaze towards the mountains and hummed a little. ”Then… this could be a real place.” she almost smiled. ”Do you think we're close to where the ship crashed?”
"No, no, from early scans before we crashed, the whole world has its continents in their form of Pangea. And a huge and vast range of mountains separating the continent in two, those, are part of it.
