(Since I'm doing Patton, I can start if you want me to.)
(Since I'm doing Patton, I can start if you want me to.)
(Sure!)
(Ack, I got incredibly busy)
Soon everyone is back and Patton decides to gather everyone so that they can talk to each other about things and maybe have a bit of a game night, too.
Virgil came into the room at Patton's call. Logan was already there, reading again of course. He seemed to be reading a novel and not a textbook this time, though.
Once everyone got into the room, Patton looked at everyone. "Hey, guys! How have your days been? I thought I would ask since I was busy most of the day."
Virgil just shrugged silently. "I've been at school all day, Patton." Logan replied as he flipped the page of his book. "So I suppose I'm alright. What is this 'family meeting' for?"
"I thought that we could talk about our days, open up about any problems so we can help each other, and maybe have a 'family game night' when we're done with it!" Patton smiled at the last idea.
Logan sighed softly. "Very well, Patton." He stuck a bookmark in the novel and closed it. "Is this out of the blue or did 'something' happen again?"
"I'm not sure if something happened, but I have this feeling that it did, so I thought that we could have this meeting to make sure that everything's okay," Patton said.
Virgil looked away, seeming a bit nervous. Logan observed him and hummed quietly to himself. "I see. Well, shall we get on with it, then? You begin, Patton."
"So, my day was great! It was a little busy, but there were quite a few animals helped and I was so happy to see them after they were better!" Patton truly did enjoy his day. "That's all that really happened, but it was an amazing day!"
"Lovely. Virgil?" Logan turned to Virgil, who fidgeted uncomfortably for a few seconds. "Um… not great, honestly, but I've had worse. It's gotten a bit better since this morning I guess."
Patton turned to look at Virgil. "Did anyone try to help you throughout the day? I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you, too… I would've helped you if I could. If things have gotten better, though, then that's good."
"Uh… yeah… Ro and Remus were helpful." Virgil fidgeted with his sleeves anxiously, a bit of the fresh bandages visible for a second.
Patton noticed the bandages when they were visible. "Oh, you cut yourself again, didn't you…? Really, I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you, but," he looked at Roman and Remus, "I'm glad that you guys were there for him."
Remus was sitting upside down on the couch, his head dangling off the front and his feet, the back. He flashed a smile when Patton bright up his name. "No problem, Pops!" He said. Remus had gotten into the habbit of calling Patton "Pops" because of his dad like nature. That and Patton prefered "Pops" over "Daddy".
"You guys truly are great. You might be a bit crazy at times, Remus, but it's days like today where you help out with problems, and at a great time, too, since I wasn't home to help with this," Patton then turned his attention over to Roman. "You were great, too. You did help him. and I don't want to hear you saying anything about how you didn't. Roman, whether or not you're acting like a hero, just helping him is being one."
Roman looked at Patton. "I figured that out earlier, but thanks for the reminder. I will still try my best to help him, even if I do need to change my tactics for that."
Virgil nodded, crossing his arms so he wouldn't keep toying with his sleeves. "So, how was everyone else's day?" Logan asked. "That seems to be the purpose of this meeting, or so Patton says. Roman?"
"Oh, my day was mostly wonderful! I spent quite a bit of it rehearsing, and then there was that time when I was helping Virgil out. There were those moments where things were going quite wrong in that plan, but I got through it, and after that everything was wonderful," Roman said.
Deceit was currently curled up in a ball on a arm chair. He didn't really talk to people other than Remus and Logan, and occasionally Roman. "My day was fine." He said simply.
Remus kicked his legs a bit. "I was asleep." He said with a shrug.
"Fantastic." Logan said dryly. "I spent most of my day at school, so I suppose it was alright. What else were you wanting to do, Patton?" He asked.
"I thought that maybe we could have a bit of a game night, but it's truly up to you guys. A game night sounds fun, but it wouldn't be fun if you guys don't want to do it!" Patton said.
"What kind of games?" Logan asked, setting his book beside him carefully. "I've completed all my homework for the next month or two, so I should be free."
"All your homework for the next month or two??" Virgil asked incredulously.
"Well, yes. What did you think I did in the library all the time?"
"Well, it's good to know that you're free, Logan. Also, I never really thought this through or anything. I usually leave it up to you guys because I just want everyone to be happy, and again, we don't have to do this if none of you want to," Patton was truly trying to ensure everyone's happiness and enjoyment of the night.
"I'm free until 2. That's when my work starts." Remus said, pulling his phone out to check the time.
"Sounds good to me." Deceit said quietly as he unfolded himself a bit.
