"…What kind of excuse?" Virgil asked, peering up at Roman through the gaps between his fingers.

"The only excuse I've got. Actually, it is reasonable. I was going to ask you about this at some point, and then it happened naturally, and for real," Roman said.

"Well, what is it, then?" He asked, not quite understanding what Roman was saying. His heart was still racing and pounding hard in his chest.

"Ah, I thought that I had just mentioned things about my play and such. I mean, the scene itself was never meant to be gay, but for my sake when getting one of you guys to help me, it works. I was going to ask about this, anyways, soo…" Roman said.

"Alright… do you think they'll believe you?" Virgil asked hopefully. He wasn't sure why he was so nervous about the others knowing, but it just filled him with dread.

"Of course they would. They already know about the play and stuff, and they've all read the script before to help me out, so it should actually work quite well, and it wouldn't fully be a lie," Roman said.

Virgil nodded, relaxing a bit. "Okay… if you say so. Should we go out and see whether or not Remus told the others?"

"We should probably go and see about that, yes… He might have already, but it's always hard to tell when it comes to him. Sometimes he will and other times he won't to find a way to blackmail and get me to do what he wants," Roman said.

"Okay…" Virgil followed Roman out into the hall and then into the kitchen, which was a very strange sight to behold. Logan was having an animated conversation with Patton while eating a jar of jelly. Logan doesn't talk to people… eating jelly straight out of the jar is normal for him, but this?

Remus didn't intend to tell Patton and Logan about the lovebirds in Romans bedroom. Of course he would use it for some sort of black mail later on but more than likely it would be to get Virgil to actually take care of himself.
Remus flopped down onto his bed, tired but not enough to go to sleep. So he opted for lying there.

Roman was also slightly surprised to see Logan actually having a conversation with Patton. Logan always chose not to talk to people – or as far as he knew – so seeing him with Patton and having a real conversation was definitely a sight to behold.

(When eating jelly straight from the jar is normal but having a conversation is unheard of–)
Virgil looked up at Roman, bewildered. "You're seeing this too, right?" He whispered.
Logan just kept on chatting away about the book, either not noticing Virgil and Roman or ignoring them.

"Yes, I am seeing this… I've never seen Logan talk to someone or look so happy while doing so… What is going on with him?" Roman whispered back.

Virgil shook his head and shrugged. "No clue… is it Patton? He's always been a bit more friendly with Patton than he is with the rest of us…"

"It might be Patton," Roman agreed. "Even with Patton he's never been like this, though. He's friendlier with Patton, but I've never seen this until now…"

"What the hell is in his coffee…?? Did Remus spike it or something??" Virgil asked incredulously. "I just… I have no idea what's going on."

"I don't know… I would assume not, though. While it would be a thing that my brother would do, I don't see why he would do that at this time," Roman said.

"Can you ask him or something?" Virgil watched as Logan started chuckling a bit, presumably at something that Patton had said. "Or call a psychiatrist?"

"I'll confirm that my brother didn't do anything before we try bringing a professional into this, so I'll be back in a moment, and tell me if anything else strange happens," Roman said before going into Remus's room. "Hey, Remus, Logan is acting strange and Virgil is wondering if you spiked the coffee."

Remus sat up, a smirk on his face. "Nope! That was what I wanted to tell you earlier. Logan is finally making his move~!" He explained.

"You really do ship those two, don't you? Even if he was, what was with the sudden realization of feelings? It seems so unlike Logan to actually show any sort of feelings," Roman said.

Remus laied back down, this time with his head hanging off the foot of the bed. "Oh he's had them for awhile! He just doesn't show it around most of us. I've caught glimpses of him with Patton and Logan is just full of emotion. Well, as full of emotion as Logan can be." Remus explained, his hair actually out of his face now that he was upside down.

"So you've actually seen Logan expressing some form of emotion before? I never thought that something like that would ever happen. Also, so it really is true that he has a thing for Patton! I mean, they'd be pretty cute together, I have to admit," Roman said.

"Just like you and little Virgey?" Remus teased, sticking his tongue out. "So what'd you do last night, hmm?"

"I don't see why you say that, and I'll have you know that I asked him to help me rehearse and then we both ended up falling asleep, and then continued a bit this morning. He agreed to it quickly, so I didn't have to bother asking anyone else," Roman said.
