Eventually Patton walked into the room. He wasn't doing anything; he was just wanting to talk to Logan for some reason. "Good morning, guys!"
Eventually Patton walked into the room. He wasn't doing anything; he was just wanting to talk to Logan for some reason. "Good morning, guys!"
"Good morning, Patton. How are you?" Logan asked, actually bothering to look up from his book to meet Patton's eyes.
"I'm great! How are you, Logan?" Patton asked, slightly surprised to see that Logan had looked up from his book to meet his eyes and talk, causing him to smile.
"I'm fine, thank you. Coffee?" He offered, gesturing to the hot coffee still in the pot. He kept his eyes on Patton as they talked.
"Sure, I'll take some coffee," Patton said, then grabbing his mug from inside one of the cabinets. He was smiling as he continued to talk to Logan after getting his coffee and how Logan seemed to be fully in the conversation.
Logan, though not very experienced with small talk, was trying his best to keep it up. He got more invested in the conversation when the subject of his book came up, at which point he started describing the characters and plot in detail to Patton.
Patton seemed to show some interest in the book that Logan was reading, showing that it wasn't just a topic that he brought up to make Logan more comfortable. He asked some questions about certain things about the book and was genuinely enjoying the conversation.
At some point during the conversation, Logan was even smiling a bit. He was enjoying himself during a conversation, which he never thought would happen. He described everything in the book in detail up to the point he'd gotten to, at which point he moved on to what he thought would happen.
"All of this is very interesting, and what you think might happen is interesting, too! I can kind of see what you're getting at with your predictions on things, but I actually have a couple of my own just from what you've said," Patton said before explaining his own ideas on what might happen to Logan, going off of what he's been told by him.
Logan hummed thoughtfully and nodded. "I'll let you know what happens, okay? We'll see who's right."
Virgil stirred a bit and opened his eyes, yawning. He checked the time on his phone and shook Roman gently to wake him. "Ro…?"
(Sorry for all the delayed replies! From here to Wattpad I am running a lot of role plays!)
"Okay! It was a lot of fun discussing this with you, honestly!" Patton smiled at Logan as he spoke, and he truly did enjoy the conversation with him.
Roman woke up and he turned over to look at Virgil. "Yeah, Virgil? What do you need…?" He yawned, still half-asleep from having just woken up a few seconds ago.
(No problem lol)
Logan nodded and turned back to his book, now content to just sit in silence. Usually, he would tell any one of his roommates to leave him alone if he wanted to read, but he didn't say anything this time.
"We should probably get up." Virgil said, toying with Roman's fluffy hair. He rather liked it when it was natural like this and not all slicked up with gel. "I don't think you'd want the others seeing us like this."
Patton was quiet, allowing Logan to read, as he respected that, though he said a couple of things here and there to some of the others or thinking out loud about his predictions in the book that Logan was reading.
"Oh, yeah, we probably should get up before anyone comes in here!" Roman said before immediately getting up and getting out of bed and preparing himself for the day, kind of hurriedly as he knew that anyone could walk in at any given moment.
Virgil sighed softly and got up as well. He hugged Roman from behind, not wanting him to go. "We can stay a couple minutes though, right?" He asked, standing on his toes to rest his head on Roman's shoulder (I'm gonna say Virgil's a bit shorter than Roman in this lol). "It's nice and quiet right now…"
"Of course we can stay for a couple of minutes, Virgil," Roman said, enjoying this moment with Virgil, not wanting it to end. "It is nice and quiet now, too. We can talk to each other if you want to."
"Mm… let's just enjoy the quiet." Virgil pulled Roman back down to the bed and leaned against him, yawning a bit. He figured the others were probably already up, but they weren't looking for Roman or Virgil yet, so it didn't matter much.
Roman didn't say anything, just letting Virgil have his quiet and enjoying the moment with him. He was just happy to have Virgil with him and that Virgil was actually happy.
After a few minutes, Virgil finally resigned himself to the fact that they had to get up some time and sighed. "Alright…" He reluctantly pulled away from Roman. "We should probably go."
Remus smiled at seeing Patton and Logan chat. He silently grabbed his stuff and left to give them some space.
"Yo! Roman! You have to see this!" He said knocking on his siblings door before beginning to open it.
(90% at this point Remus is just shipping everyone.)
(Lmao yeah)
Virgil jumped at the sudden noise and leapt to his feet, flushing red. Sh#t. Bad. Abort. Abort, abort, abort!
(Yes, yes it is)
Roman immediately got up and continued to get ready, acting as if nothing was happening as his brother came into the room.
"Uh… h-hey Remus…" Virgil waved awkwardly, still feeling very anxious. "What do you need?" He asked. "Is something going on?"
Remus stared at the two for a bit before a cheshire grin speak across his face. "Nevermind~!" He said before closing the door and going off to his own bedroom.
Virgil buried his red face in his hands and whined loudly. "He's gonna tell everyone…" He sat down on the bed, sighing shakily.
"He might tell everyone, but I can make an excuse that would actually be believable. I mean, it works perfectly with the play I'm in and everything. It'll be okay," Roman assured him.
