"Mm… wonder why?" Virgil hummed thoughtfully. "It's not like he doesn't already know literally everything already. What more could he want to know that he doesn't know?"

"Mm… wonder why?" Virgil hummed thoughtfully. "It's not like he doesn't already know literally everything already. What more could he want to know that he doesn't know?"
(Both things that I ship. Your opinions on ships, Shadow Knight?)
"I don't really know… I don't know why he'd need to spend almost six hours in there, but maybe he's just re-reading some of the things that he likes? I mean, that could be the reason," Patton said.
"I guess so… sounds like the kind of thing he'd do." Virgil ran his fingers through his hair to muss it up a bit before he pulled his hood over his head. "When do we need to be there?"
"Oh, well, I have to leave now, actually! I have somewhere to be by seven thirty, and it's like seven now! I enjoyed talking to you guys this morning! I'll see you guys later!" Patton's voice sounded both like he was in a rush and excited simultaneously as he rushed out of the door.
"Bye, Pat…" Virgil sighed softly and leaned back in his chair. After a minute or two, he just pulled out his phone and started playing some puzzle game to distract himself.
After a few minutes Roman awoke and went into the kitchen. "Good morning, everyone! How have you guys been? Where are Patton and Logan? I remember that Patton had somewhere to be, but this early? Logan doesn't have anywhere to be until noon, too. He's probably at the library. Anyways, for those who are here, you are good, I would hope!"
"I'm sh#t, thank you very much. And yes, Logan apparently went to the library around six a.m." Virgil glanced over his shoulder at Roman. "Pretty sure there's more coffee over there if you're feeling almost as dead inside as me, which is debatable, but you may still want some."
"Well, that's normal for him, and I have tried telling my brother to let you sleep, but he apparently does not understand just how important beauty sleep is. It is not just important to me since I always need to be at my best, but it is important for everyone so they can be at their best, too," Roman said.
"Whatever you say, princey…" Virgil turned back around and started playing on his phone again. He didn't plan on eating breakfast, as usual. He never ate enough, and it was pretty obvious. He no longer cared enough to hide it.
"Anyways, I should start making some breakfast. You guys are probably starving by now, assuming that you've been up for a while, and," Roman turned to look at Virgil, "you need to start eating again. You cannot be at your best if you starve yourself! If it is about your self-image, then you're perfect just the way you are! You need to love yourself, and I will help you accomplish that."
"I'm fine, Roman." Virgil insisted, crossing his arms over his stomach before it would growl at just the wrong time, as it always did. He stared blankly at the ground, still completely drained despite the coffee.
"You're not fine, Virgil…" Roman sighed, his tone in the previous statement being filled with worry. "You can let us know about your problems, and I want to help you… I don't like seeing you like this… You are not at your best and you lack self-love, and you don't know how important it truly is, but I will show you that you have reasons to love yourself."
"I can handle it, Ro. I'm gonna go get ready." Virgil stood up, took a second to let his head rush go away, and started leaving the room.
"Virgil, I'm actually worried about you… You need to see the importance of self-love, and to let other people in your life so they can help you… No one wants to see you suffer…" Roman said.
Virgil sighed and leaned against the doorframe, glancing back over at Roman. "It's nothing I can't handle, okay? I'm fine. Just tired."
"It's more than you being tired… You're not eating, either… I know that I seem to be acting over-dramatic, but I don't want to lose you…" Roman said.
(Legit over here triggering myself This is way too similar to me and my girlfriend… Of course, that's partially my writing, and this can continue as it's a part of Virgil's character and I cannot just edit it like that.)
(Oof sorry <3)
"You always mean to be dramatic, actually, but that's besides the point. What's it to you, anyway?" Virgil fidgeted with the sleeves of his hoodie, clearly growing a bit stressed and uncomfortable as the conversation continued.
(It's not your fault. As I said, it's Virgil's character and my own writing, in the end. It's not you at all!)
"I care about you… I'm not sure if you've been told that in your life, but I do care about you, and if I were to lose you… I wouldn't be able to take it… There's a long story to that, but I do care a lot about you.." Roman said, looking at Virgil, trying to get this through to him to help him.
(<33)
Virgil glanced away nervously, not quite sure how to react. "I… um… s-sorry…" His heart was already racing, and he knew information would be forced out of him if he stuck around much longer. He turned and hurried off to his room, locking himself inside when he reached it.
Remus smiled as his brother walked in. "Well look at that! The prince has finally arisen from his beauty sleep!" Remus teased as he finished off his glass of wine. "And I'm surprised you actually got sleep last night, Virgil!" He commented. Remus had troubles with sleep as well, which left dark bags under his eyes that he usually covered up with purple eye shadow. Remus had very vivid nightmares that he would either talk to Logan or Deceit about.
Maybe I shouldn't have almost confessed… I do let my love of acting take over a lot, don't I? It did seem like I was acting, in a sense, but he knew that it was true, what I was saying… Roman thought as Virgil walked off before looking at Remus. "Oh, hey there, Remus. I was just about to make breakfast before I got caught up in a conversation with Virgil. You seem to be good this morning, which is great! Well, I'm going to make some food now." Roman then started to make some breakfast.
Virgil sat down in an empty corner of his room. He drew his knees up to his chest and hugged them before hiding his face in them. It'll be over soon… He sighed shakily.
They don't actually care. Virgil tensed up, gripping the fabric of his sleeves. They're just lying to make you feel better so they can use you. What could they even use you for? You're useless. You're weak. Just look at you.
Soon Roman was done cooking and he went to check on Virgil. "Virgil, please come out. I made breakfast, and you need to eat. If you're thinking things like the fact that we care about you is fake again, it's not. We all truly care about you. We've talked about this before, and all of them were there. They wouldn't just lie about friendships, and neither would I. Sure, I'll be an actor one day and get into character easily, but the fact that I care about you has nothing to do with it."
"Please leave me alone, Roman…" Virgil replied weakly. He sounded like he may have been crying. "I'm f… fine…" He quickly started rubbing at his tears just in case Roman tried to pick his lock or knock down the door or something. He got to his feet and headed over to the bathroom that was connected to his room, then locking himself in there as well while he dug around in his cupboard. Everything seemed surreal and he hardly even felt like he was present. Was Roman saying something again? He couldn't tell. His breathing was accelerating, and the harsh noise pounded in his ears along with his racing heart.
"Virgil, you're not okay… I want to help you… I want to be your hero, your savior, the one who will end all of the suffering, return you to happiness, and-" Roman cut himself off there after everything became over-dramatic and he once again got close to confessing. He wasn't going to give up on Virgil, for that would be against everything that he desires to be for him. He's not sure how his love of acting might help him here, but he knows that it might be useful, for everything reminds him a lot of a story he's read or seen, and maybe even been in here and there. Knowing all of that can help him, because it would put it into a thing that he loves and understands, though, of course, he still cannot control Virgil or his responses. He is determined to help him, though.
