@Trix
(love her ;)
(love her ;)
(Aquila: supposed hate her but ok)
(Karina: mmm, yeah siblings aren't the best, but it's better than doing things alone)
Thea's eyes widened then she grinned as she stood "I'm in so what is your plan" her eyes had stars in them basically
Ever smirked. “All we have to do is slowly make our way to the door, and then when no one’s looking, we walk out and down the hall. Then we can go outside!” It was clear that he’d used this particular strategy before, if only a couple of times.
(Oki, Imma just jump in, I hope that's ok)
Aina had been wandering aimlessly around the yard for far too long, lost in thought. It had been really, really cool to meet the Rampion crew in person. They were all super nice, or at the very least, they were interesting people. That was nice. Suddenly snapping out of her thoughts, she looked around her and noticed a group of teenagers a little ways away. Smiling softly, she skipped (figuratively) over to them, not standing too close, but wanting to hear their conversation. Conversations were always fun to listen to. Unless they took place in a castle. Then, they were quite possibly the least interesting things on the moon. She shook her head at herself and looked back up.
Spotting Aina's black hair coming closer, Karina felt a bit relieved. Sure, she was troublesome, but something about her made her feel a bit less worried. Perhaps the cheerful personality was what sparked something inside Karina.
"You can come a bit closer," the older girl teased, cracking a small smile.
Aina grinned. "Thanks so much for your permission. I would have eventually, anyway." She stepped further so that she was barely an inch away from her sister. "Close enough?"
Karina hummed before giving Aina a gentle nudge. "Not like that, you weirdo. You were standing so far off that I was wondering if you were having a strange shyness phase or something," she replied, now smiling. She felt a bit more loose in the moment.
"Cosmina, Lisette, this is my little sister Aina, though she's probably ticked that I gave her introduction for her," Karina said, now facing the other girls. Her sass was shining through in all of its glory. No front to hold up. This was what the party was for. To loosen up.
Aina raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I sort of am. Especially by starting out with little sister? Have you no shame?"
"You're younger than me and we're sisters. How else was I supposed to do it? 'This is some girl I live with who also happens to share my parents?' I think not," Karina argued, running a hand through her hair.
(All my mind is doing is quoting the Incredibles movie: cOinCiDEnCE? i tHinK nOt!)
(OMG YES)
Aina rolled her eyes. "You could've stuck with just 'sister.' Little sister immediately makes me inferior, especially when you say it right off the bat. I'm cursed now. Thanks, Kari," she ranted, eyes gleaming. This was fun. She has expected it to be, but it was nice to have something turn out how she hoped it would.
Cosmina giggled. “Nice to meet you, Aina,” she said, her moodiness from earlier beginning to wear off. These two reminded her of herself and Ever. “Or should I say, Karina’s little sister?” She ran her hand through her short curls.
Ever smirked. “All we have to do is slowly make our way to the door, and then when no one’s looking, we walk out and down the hall. Then we can go outside!” It was clear that he’d used this particular strategy before, if only a couple of times.
Thea nodded and walked to the wall slipping towards the doors then looked back to Ever and paused to wait as to not draw attention to them
"I never said anything like that and you know it. Stop being dramatic about it because you know I've never thought of you as lesser," said with a frown. Returning her focus on Cosmina again, she sighed. Normally she might have apologised, but there wasn't anything to be sorry about. She was normal today, bickering with her sister. The girl grinned, hearing the other's comment. Perhaps this would be more fun than she thought.
Aina sighed dramatically. "If I'm not dramatic, what am I? Besides Karina's little sister," she said with a pointed look at the other girl.
She wasn't going to apologise, she wasn't going to apologise, she wasn't going to-
"Stars, Aina. If I say sorry will you calm yourself?" she asked, feeling a bit vexed. Karina began to have another mental conflict with herself. Aina didn't need to be bickering with people she could become friends with, but she didn't want to act like a stiff little princess like everyone thought she was. All she wanted was for things to be normal. Then again… what was normal?
Cosmina raised her eyebrows slightly at the sisters arguing. It wasn’t like she didn’t get it. She and Ever had had similar arguments before, though he hated fighting in public more than anything.
Thea nodded and walked to the wall slipping towards the doors then looked back to Ever and paused to wait as to not draw attention to them
Ever glanced around, making sure everyone else was preoccupied before nodding slightly and opening the door. “Ladies first,” he said quietly with a grin.
Aina dropped her annoyed expression and smiled. "Only kidding, Kari. So, are we going to do anything more interesting, or… just… stand here?"
Vesper was quiet, still watching the little group from the corner of his eye. He didn't know what he would even say, were he to walk up and try to start a conversation, so he waited. Aquila would speak to him later, most likely. Hopefully.
(And this is when it's useful to have an extroverted character. But I've responded too much Imma have to give other people a chance lmao 😂)
(yeahhhh I know lol)
Cosmina shrugged. “I dunno. I suppose that we could just sneak out or something,” she replied mischievously. “Speaking of which, where did my brother go? There’s no way he would just leave…”
Aina blinked, then shrugged. "I saw him, and then he was gone. It happens to me sometimes. Are there any good frozen yogurt places around here? It's been far too long since I had frozen yogurt. And the last time, I got vanilla. Vanilla. I need a chance at redemption or I'm, like…" Aina's brain tended to work too quickly for her to articulate all of what she was thinking, and she trailed off.
Karina chewed lightly on her lower lip. This sounded like a really bad idea. Then again… frozen yogurt did sound pretty good. Already thinking about the flavor, she considered her tie of strawberry with chocolate drizzle or some sort of chocolate flavor.
"I won't lie, that sounds amazing," she commented. Looking around, she noticed that it wasn't only Ever that was missing.
"The Thorne girl isn't here either," Karina said. Perhaps if Aina and Ever got to talk more, they'd hit it off. They were both very good at sneaking off apparently.
