Vesper shifted slightly. "So…are we going?" He asked, looking at her. He wasn't really sure what he should do…he didn't know what was going on with Aquila, but…he wasn't sure if he should go over there or not.

Cassie sighed. "No, Ves, I was planning on standing here until the end of time," she said sarcastically, shaking her head. "Come on, let's go."
Alpha let her hair fall over her face as her face went as red as her hair. She looked up at Caedmon, “really?” The hair in her face was annoying but she didn’t want him seeing her face.
Vesper almost flinched, blinking and looking away. "Oh. Right." He started walking, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Sorry."
Caedmon nodded, smiling. "Yeah. I mean, as far as I know." He replied with a shrug, smiling at her.
Cassie winced as she caught up with him. "No, you didn't- I'm just overly sarcastic, sorry. Must be a teenage thing," she mused with a weak laugh.
(aahahhh my California cousins are like VSCO girls or something and they're trying to indoctrinate me!! Help!)
Vesper nodded. "Oh." He replied simply. My mother made sure I would never do anything like that. Ever. He looked down at the ground for a moment.
(Oh dear lord RUN FOR YOUR LIFE)
Cassie refrained from grabbing her port, as she always did in awkward situations. It's like being 15 all over again, she thought frustratedly.
(they have hydroflasks and scrunchies eye twitches. It's been not even 24 hours)
He swallowed, and faced ahead again. There was something almost mechanical in the way he walked. The same measured steps each time, his arms by his sides now. Like a machine. Or a soldier.
