Salem had wandered off for a small bit then tried to find Alpha again with a success of finding her scent and followed it

(Um so Caedmon and Alpha are chillin by a pond or smth, Cassie and Vesper went walking but now they're coming back, and Karina and Aquila seen to have ended their argument but they're still pissed af)

(I've been conflicting. I want Aquila to fully apologize… but that's just me seeping into the character because he wouldn't do that. Hnnnn but I want him to-)

(Like I keep thinking he goes and finds her later because she actually never goes back to the house and things go from there)

(Or maybe the entire group meets up, and they're just really awkward?)

Salem nudged Alpha to get her hand then nudged Caedmon's as well

Bitter thoughts swirled around Aquila as he trudged back to the house. The little group of heroes would notice their absence, eventually. Vesper would be disappointed in him. Not only had he accomplished nothing, he’d somehow managed to push Karina further away.

Karina thought about sitting in the room where the adults were. That was out of the question. That was something a weak little princess would do. Plus, her face was still a bit rosy from the crying. Her parents knew well that she never liked to shed tears and something horrible would have to happen for that. She wasn't weak. Plus… she couldn't ditch the others. They were trying to be friendly. Plus, she wanted to catch up with Caedmon. If that really had been Caedmon who Alpha had run off with that is.
