@Simon-Says
(I say that to myself on a regular basis! But without the smart person part.)
(I say that to myself on a regular basis! But without the smart person part.)
(Lol. Same!) ((are we just going from chat to chat now?))
He released a soft laugh. "I can tell. Your mom is…Cress, right? From the… revolution?" He asked slowly. The uprising. The dethroning of the rightful queen. Cinder/Celene murdering my mom.
(Gracie… I think you killed me with that XD)
(your wrong Ves! Cress was a heroic damsel!)
(well yeah, but he doesn't know that XD)
(She was a heroic GENIUS. And also a hopeless romantic. But that's not important.)
Cassie sighed. "Yes, I guess. She never tells me anything about it, and my dad never tells me anything, so I've been forced to learn about my own history through school," she finished with an eye roll.
(lol)
Vesper shrugged. "I can see how that would be annoying." He said. He traced a scar on his inner wrist for a moment, then dropped his hand again.
I can just imagine this conversation between Alpha and Scarlet
S: do your homework
A: no! It’s hard and boring!
S: Your father and I helped lead a RevOLUTION!
A:Mom-
Wolf: She was captured!
S: I was tortured!
A:geez! Mom! Da-!
S: DONT GO COMPLAINING ABOUT HOMEWORK
(lol yessss)
"I have that same one!" Cassie said, showing him her wrist. "This was one of the few intentional scars, but - sorry, I'm rambling again. I should probably leave you alone."
(I can imaging Cinder and Kai doing that too)
Vesper chuckled. "It's fine." He said softly. He looked at her wrist. "Huh." He shrugged slightly. "Matching, I guess." He said with a soft laugh. He wasn't sure why he was laughing. Why was he laughing? This wasn't funny. Was it? He didn't know.
(Hnngh, lowkey makes me mad just reading that because it's lowkey what parents do today. Like "I'm sorry that I haven't risked my life or gone through horrible suffering yet, maybe instead of telling me how easy I've got it, give me some help on this thing that's difficult for me." Sorry. Small rant. I'm done now.)
(ohh yeah that's true. My parents do it all the time)
Cassie giggled softly. "Matching," she agreed. "But yours is crooked," she observed. "It's supposed to line up with the edge up your hand - sorry, sorry. I might have OCD, haven't gone to a doctor yet, stars, I just cannot stop talking."
Crooked, like me. Like my mother. Where had that thought come from?? God damn it. This was messing with his head. "Well, OCD or not, there's nothing I can do to fix it." He replied with a slight shrug.
Cassie nodded. "I know, sorry, I'm usually a lot less talkative than this."
He nodded. "Why are you so talkative today, then?" He asked.
"Something happened that brought back a lot of feelings that I was working on destroying, and I'm not sure how I feel about it," she explained with a shake of her head. "Not that that makes any sense."
"No, it really doesn't, but I'm sorry about that." Vesper said with a shrug.
(Your welcome Cassie!)
"It's really not a big deal, but I tend to overthink everything." And she looks incredibly like my sister. "But anyway. "
(*You're)
He nodded. "Ah." He raked a hand through his dark hair, ruining the carefully combed style.
