Alpha suddenly leaned forward and hugged Cassie. She didn’t realize she did it until her arms were around the girl. She froze. Stars Almighty what have you done

(I read that as “we’re suppose to be talking about yours” and I would love how that fourth wall would break XD)
(XDDD)
Cassie laughed gently. "Thanks. It's ok, really. And anyway, there are much bigger problems."
(Aw, this is so soft)
“Ok. But if you don’t mind me asking- you don’t have to answer, what was her name? I may understand loss better than you think.”
“Annoying,” he repeated. “People knowing you before actually meeting you. Making assumptions before actually recognizing the real deal, I assume?” Aquila’s left eye darted again, the blindness a constant reminder of what his mom had to bear.
"Allura. Her name was Allura. It's been almost a year, but I still do a double take every time I walk past her room," she laughed quietly, sadly. Always hiding your feelings with laughter, aren't you? A tiny voice said. Shut up if you know what's good for you, she thought back.
(Your daily dose of Alpha being a little bi weirdo.)
“Her name is beautiful. I- I get it. She wasn’t technically my sister but every time I see her house I- you don’t even know what I am talking about and you don’t want to hear. Sorry.” Alpha cursed under her breath for being so self absorbed as she wiped away tear. One of her many many flaws. She was basically a giant flaw.
"If I have to talk about my sister, then so do you. If I'm going to be a therapist someday, I need practice talking to real people, anyway," Cassie stated firmly but quietly.
(OMG ALPHA YOU POOR FEISTY BABY)
“Annoying,” he repeated. “People knowing you before actually meeting you. Making assumptions before actually recognizing the real deal, I assume?” Aquila’s left eye darted again, the blindness a constant reminder of what his mom had to bear.
Karina simply nodded. "Bingo. All I am is who I am assumed and appear to be," she huffed, staring at her hands. She was trying to keep calm, but the reality of it all was stupid. Infuriating yet saddening.
“I- I don’t need help. I’m fine.” Her voice got softer. “I can be strong too.” Her trembling lip and the tears she failed to keep from falling down her cheeks said otherwise. After a moment she burst into tears. “I-I-I am sorry for-for being so self absorbed.” She manger to gasp between her horrible unrelenting sobs. She covered her red tear stained face with her trembling hands in a poor attempt to hide her emotions. ( I swear if someone walks in on this moment they will die)
(o no)
(Stark is gonna come back totally lost lolll)
"Oh, my stars, you're definitely not self-absorbed. It's ok to have feelings.I just like to hide mine because they make me feel uncomfortable. bBut you're not, I promise," she soothed, gently placing a hand on Alpha's shoulder. Stars, 10 minutes ago we were at each other's throats.
(also wait… Allura like Voltron Allura??? XD I'm a nerd I'm sorry)
Alpha leaned into Cassie’s hand as her tears began to subside. “I haven’t cried about Aliza since she killed herself.” Her voice was small and quivering as she spoke. Her red hair hanging in front of her pale face.
(I've never watched Voltron, sorry! I just like the name XD)
(No it's okay! It's good until the last season btw)
"That's a perfectly normal response to grief. Sometimes, it can be so mind-numbingly painful that you can't physically process it until - until you suddenly can," she assured Alpha.
“She was my best friend. I had known her all my life. One day- while her parents were out of town a few months ago, I went to her house to walk her to school. I had a key and I let myself in. I saw her corpse floating face down in her bathtub surrounded by blood and a life in the water. I knew her depression was bad. I just hadn’t done anything to help her. And. And what if it’s my fault?” She just finished when she heard footsteps and saw her dad appear in the doorway (I’m gonna ruin it. I have to.) Concern flooding his face at what he saw.
Cassie cursed under her breath. Of course, Alpha's parents were probably much better to talk to than she was. Slowly, she stood up and started for the door to give Alpha and her father a minute.
“Alpha. Please come downstairs in second. Your mother and I want to talk. I’ll let you finish this conversation. It looks important.” Ze’evs deep voice filled the room and he turned and walked downstairs. Alpha then walked over to Cassie, catching her arm. “Wait!” She looked at the girl and then kissed her.
