(Cats usually have on average four kittens in litter but some litters can have up to eight or more kittens, 1, 2, 3 and are stereotypical… I thought we were going to have 4 or something, Stagkit, Doekit, Fawnkit, and Deerkit, but yet again messing around with 4 kits and trying to get them all in the story will be hard so ok)

Oakleaf stood besides them, looking down at the new kits with joy. This was the feeling of fatherhood, a feeling he should not be having because he was a medicine cat.

(I think Stag would be the one who's confident but not competent and Doe is sassy af and she's clearly the leader of the two. She bosses Stag around all the time and he has no idea bc he thinks it's just a game where she's pretending to be leader)
