(Hey guys! Would you mind if I joined?)
(It’s fine)
(Thank
Name: Scipio Massimo
Gender: Male
Sexuality(we will use this more later): Heterosexual
Appearance: Scipio is Italian (he does occasionally speak Italian when he's nervous, but as I don't know Italian, I will be using Google translate, so sorry if you do know Italian and it's wrong) and is relatively pale for being so. He has slightly unkempt black hair that sort of poofs off to his left side. He's average height, and he has icy blue eyes.
House: Slytherin
Personality: Scipio is very intelligent and more observant than he lets on. He has a tendency to use his words to "lead the witness" or mildly manipulate people. He isn't exactly a psychopath (some people seem to think he is), but he can be emotionally distant since he relies on logic as opposed to how he's feeling to make decisions. He's typically very quiet, and is pretty formal when he does speak. (He doesn't use many contractions and still has an Italian accent when he speaks English, showing that it isn't his first language)
Other: Scipio is a Parselmouth and has a small black snake named Ombra that he can sometimes be found in conversation with. Ombra is young and non venomous, and she will grow considerably larger through the years of Hogwarts. He is a pureblood, but he doesn't really care whether someone is pureblood or otherwise (his parents do)
Sorry it's so long ack)
(No, that's good! He and Melissa will get along great, probably!)
(That sounds good to me! Should I just hop in (if so, how qwq) or wait for Rocky to officially approve it? They approved me joining but idk about whether or not the character themself needs to be approved)
(You should probably wait, but I'm sure that Rocky will let you join.)
(Aight)
Melissa blinked, startled a bit. "Oh, yes. It does s-sound nice…"
(Yayy, more slytherins!)
(Your character is great)
(Ack thank I'll find a way to jump in)
There was suddenly a crash from outside the group's compartment, and a black haired soon-to-be first year could be seen looking up at a disgruntled second year, both with their wands drawn. The younger of the two quickly muttered a spell in some foreign language (Italian) that made the second year spin rapidly in circles before falling onto the ground. "Why you little-!" He began yelling at the first year, who stepped back a bit, but seemed overall unfazed.
He opened the door and rushed in between them and said “stop it now both of you. Do you want to get expelled before the school year even starts”
"Of course not." Scipio said calmly, lowering his wand despite still keeping a close watch on the second year. The older student scoffed and stood up, pointing his wand directly at Scipio's chest before casting a spell that shot him halfway across the compartment hall.
Zyra quickly shot out if her seat at that and drew her hand. "Stop it, or I will make sure you don't come out of this train."
Scipio groaned softly, shaking his head a bit with his eyes closed before standing and simply walking back over. He could feel a bruise forming on his chest, but he ignored it. The second year glared at Zyra and Scipio, clearly wanting to do something, but he decided to just push Scipio out of the way and leave the compartment.
Zyra glared back heavily and only put her wand away after the second year has left. "Hey, do you want to join us?" She glanced at the first year, wondering if he wanted to join or not.
“What happened?” He asked
"A second year being stupid happened," Zyra replied
"Hmm?" Scipio glanced up at Zyra. "Oh, sure. Sounds good to me." He then looked at Jackson. "Some second year was just being a jerk. He needed to be put in his place." Scipio fiddled with his wand.
“Well the good thing is that you aren’t hurt”
"Yeah…" Scipio thought about the bruise on his chest, but he didn't really consider that a real injury. "I'm fine."
"Are you sure?" Zyra asked, looking a bit worried.
Scipio nodded. "So… uh, what were you guys talking about before that whole thing anyways?"
"We were just talking about the houses and the common rooms," She answered.
"Oh! I know a bit about that… I've read lots of books about Hogwarts at my house."
