(Your choice, that would be pure chaos and Zyra would probably be at the hospital most of the year)
"She doesn't have to sit with you to prove that she is a pureblood." Zyra added in.
(Your choice, that would be pure chaos and Zyra would probably be at the hospital most of the year)
"She doesn't have to sit with you to prove that she is a pureblood." Zyra added in.
(XD True. What if they're right next to each other?)
"She does if she's choosing between us and a mudblood." She drew out the word lazily to add more insult.
(Then Zyra's never coming out of the hospital)
Zyra rolled her eyes. "No, it doesn't. The only thing it affects is how annoying you would be."
Bellatrix gritted her teeth.
Narcissa stiffened. "We don't appreciate a mudblood speaking so lowly of us."
Melissa shakily stood up and took her bag down from the storage area.
Bellatrix's eyes narrowed. "What do you think you're doing?"
Melissa flinched. "I-I'm going to sit w-with them…"
Zyra smiled smugly when the girl decided to sit with them. "Well, I don't appreciate a pureblood speaking so lowly of me either."
Cedar looked between them all, then stiffly nodded at Bellatrix and Narcissa before shutting the compartment door. He sighed, looking at Melissa with a faint smile. "I hope we didn't make things worse for you," he told her. "I'm sure none of us planned on making enemies before even reaching the school." He laughed half-heartedly and picked up Aspen, who had somehow sneaked to the door and had been hissing at the two purebloods in the other compartment. "I'm Cedar," he introduced, holding a hand out for her to shake like he had earlier with the others.
he walked back into the compartment “I hope they get in trouble on the first day”
"M-Melissa," the shy girl stammer, tentatively shaking Cedar's hand. "And I-I don't mean to be rude, but, I d-don't think it was very smart to make enemies out of Bellatrix and Narcissa Black."
"Let me guess, it's because they came from a powerful family, right?" Zyra asked Melissa. "Also, I'm Zyra Everett."
"Y-Yes. Melissa Calaway," she said quietly.
"That explains why they're so cocky," Zyra mumbled.
"They're the Blacks," Melissa explained softly. "Everyone who knows who they are is afraid of them."
"Well, I know the Blacks and I'm not afraid of them," Zyra replied.
Her eyes widened. "Y-You're not?"
"I used to be, just a bit. But now that I've seen those two, I'm not afraid at all
"Why?" Melissa asked. She was amazed by this girl – Zyra
"They have this great reputation because they injected fear into people. A powerful family that I would be scared of is a family that is powerful because anyone would die for them and anyone would join them and fight to their death with the family because they're nice and kind." Zyra answered.
"I can think of a few families like that," Melissa murmured thoughtfully.
"Same here," Zyra muttered, looking around the train.
"What is the muggle world like?" Melissa asked, changing the topic.
"Oh-um-it's pretty nice actually. But the wizarding world is so much cooler." Zyra answered, her eyes lighting up a bit.
"How did your parents know to take you to Diagon Alley?" she asked, starting to warm up to the girl.
"I may or may not have read a lot of books about the wizarding world after I got my letter…" Zyra mumbled shyly.
"Oh," Melissa nodded shyly. She must be put in Ravenclaw then.
"Yea…" Zyra muttered. "Do you know anything about the muggle world?"
