Cato stumbled out from his bunk room and startled Valerie, tapping her on the shoulder. “That’s not normal, is it?” He asked groggily.
Cato stumbled out from his bunk room and startled Valerie, tapping her on the shoulder. “That’s not normal, is it?” He asked groggily.
She flinched, then turned around. “Nope. What are you doing up?”
“Um. Well. I heard cheering. Wanted to clarify that it wasn’t my side,” Cato grumbled defensively.
“It was your side,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“What does that even mean?” Arianna asked.
“Well I certainly know that 7 people are going on a quest. And… that’s about all.” Larry shrugged.
“It was your side,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“Well, I didn’t know that, or I wouldn’t have come down here,” Cato said.
“You could’ve asked a nurse.”
“I was alone in the bunks. Also why would I do that.”
“So you don’t have to walk out here?”
“Nah. People are too unreliable.” Cato grumbled. A blush began creeping up on his neck as he realized that he may have said too much, and quickly hobbled away in the direction of the forges.
Aubrey sat on the ground, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.
(Where is she again?)
(Would that count or does it have to be an actual child of Minerva?)
//no it counts I’m just saying Minerva doesn’t have children
Athena does, but not minerva(ohhhh yeah I forgot about that… dam)
\ eek… maybe make him a legacy of just mars? and he can be smart, but battle smart, like frank? idk, ur choice, just a suggestion. \
(Yeah I'll probably do that, thanks.)
\ i'll change the prophecy so it isn't wisdom if you want? \
(Wait so who won?)
\ cohorts 1 and 2 i think? \
(Oh. Oh okay then I guess. Cause you were saying that then @ImNotCrazyImAFangirl was saying 3&4&5. So. ._.)
\ oh idk. im pretty sure it's 1 and 2… \
(Okie dokie.)
Larry nudged Arianna, “We won.”
“Yeah I kind of realized, I saw.” Arianna stated.
“Well just letting you know,” Larry shrugged, “Thought it would make you feel a little bit better after this fiasco.”
(Where is she again?)
(Idk, wherever the prophecy was spoken?)
Sage was confused. The prophecy said something about wisdom, but there was no children or legacies of Minerva at Camp Jupiter. Maybe it meant battle wisdom or something? he mused.
“Well, what would help me feel better about this fiasco is if I understood what the fiasco was about.” Arianna said, watching the medics rush to augur.
“You want to understand a lot of things.” Larry said, “But not everything is meant to be understood.”
“That was deep.”
“Mhmm.”
Sage went over to Arianna, who was standing with the other second cohort centurion, Larry.
"Uh… What on Olympus was that about?" Sage asked, hoping that one of them would have some kind of answer.
Cato began his improvements to his leg brace in the forges, pounding out more metal and trying to come up with a way to stifle the pain more effectively.
“We don’t know anything.” Arianna shrugged, “This has never happened before.”
"Ah…" Sage said. He wondered if it had any link to the dream he'd had a couple of days ago. He looked over at the augur, who was now being fed copious amounts of nectar and ambrosia by the medics. "Do you think he'll be ok?"
