"Me? I had to get away form Tereasan after everything that happened. Honestly I could have picked a better place, could have left the continent but…" She shrugged, "I haven't given up on Aelin, I have to find her, she can help save this world."
Tundra frowned at the question. She knew it was bound to come up, "Long story, but all you need to be concerned with is that I don't and will not go back. This was the easily place to get to."
“Adarlan sure is… harsh. Probably the worse place to get to,” Enru replied, then thought about the lost queen, “If she’s still alive… Do you think she’ll be, I don’t know, okay? I mean she could be anywhere, she had magic too right? That would make her a target against the laws in place,” Enru said, thinking of all the times where his cut ears actually helped him.
"Her magic would have gone as well, she was just a child so I don't know. Hopefully she's fine." She said, sitting down.
Enru nodded, “How about Aedion? What happened to him?”
"I-I can't remember, he's alive, that's all I know," She paused for a moment, "Alive and living fine."
“That’s good. I kinda looked up to him as a kid, because he was half-fae too,” Enru responded quietly.
Tundra smiled, "And I'm just fae."
Enru set down his cup as he looked at Tundra, remembering the stories his uncle told him of full fae, “Do you have another form?”
Tundra nodded, "Of course I do. I just don't have access to it, since ya know. No magic."
“But what is it?” Enru asked in anticipation. He heard the possibilities were limitless.
Aramis smiled a little and closed her eyes in the chair, she was still listening but just wanting to rest her eyes.
Tundra laughed slightly. Between the fae it didn't matter what you did, "A snowy owl."
"Cool." Aramis said, not opening her eyes.
“Owls are awesome,” Enru grinned, then yawned. The sky was turning a blushing pink color.
Tundra nodded and looked to the multicolored sky. She let out a slight sigh of homesickness. A year ago she would have still been loyal to Maeve, a year ago she would have frowned at who she was now. Oh how the times have changed.
Enru looked to Aramis, “Is there anywhere I can sleep by chance?”
Aramis looked up, "Yes, there's a spare room downstairs and one up here, along with mine, feel free to use the as you want."
Tundra stood up, "Mind if I take a room too?"
She smiled, "I did say there were two spare rooms, yes, you can take the other."
Tundra returned to the smile. She nodded, "Of course. Thank you."
Enru thanked Aramis before he made his way to the bathroom before sleeping. Once he got into the bedroom, he found he couldn’t sleep on the bed. Enru ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed.
(Maybe a time skip til morning?)
Tundra left to her room. She needed a shower desperately, but sleep called her name. The moment her head it the pillow she was lights out.
Aramis was up first the morning. Well, she was up most of the night but that didn't matter. She started to make some tea for everyone so they had something warm for when they woke up.
