( I like your intrigue. I found the word when researching the forms of love. Sorrel's personality and regular word choices fit it's category, and voila, I recalled it and put it to use. I have actual characters with names of love, Ai, Agape (literally), and Eros. There are two other names I'd like to get into and research but little time drags my soul on. )

You're not crazy for the friends thing. I agree with it, and I honestly really support it. It's a sweet title that I honestly love with my whole heart. Guns and bombs sound awesome, like, for real. I've only seen those in the old movies from 1960. Your world must fight a lot, you have so much knowledge of those kinds of things. I wonder something. Do you have a prominent war that you can remember? Also, how can you possibly kill someone? It's an insane thought, I'd never do something like that myself. I don't like whoever messed you up, imperfections must suck, despite the power they bring along.

To answer your ponders, people are born with powers here. I got my butterfly powers from my father, and my son got star powers from my grandfather. It's quite odd when you think of it, and sometimes our genes mess up and we get totally new powers. Pre-Creation is the stage where we're being thought up by our creator, it's someone we believe in here. The Creator is a female of some sort that made everyone, she's the one who thinks of us in Pre-Creation. I'll admit some of her decisions are awful, and really don't make me happy, but it's okay. I was made in a lot of ways, by pre-creation, and physical work that I won't get into. Ebony Army fears me, for some reason. They say I've got a factor that could kill them, I don't know? I was born with a thing that makes me see some people, and it's weird because these people are called counterparts. Soul, S, Slaughter, and Sora. Four counterparts, aka hallucinations that somehow exist, that I've lived with since I noticed them. Soul just hates me because I'm the only one actually living. I know it makes no sense but it's true.

Anyways, I've got to go. I have some unfinished business with my own services, they kill people for me. Whoops, I wasn't supposed to say that.

I'd like to start by informing you that while I'm sure that was an amazing explanation, I understood literally none of it. It's probably more about the fact that I'm barely literate than about what you wrote, but still. I understand nothing. But that's okay.

Now about your questions, well, I don't remember any wars. I'm sure there have been some, but I haven't gotten around to studying history yet. I grew up imprisoned sheltered, lets say. And when you ask me how I could kill someone. Well.

I was created to kill. You mentioned having a creator who makes everyone? Yeah, in my world people make other people, and I was the only one to be produced in a non-traditional way. You see, I was made as an instrument of war. My sole purpose in life is to kill, to destroy. It's all I really know how to do. That's why I'm a mercenary. Even after escaping them, even after freeing myself from the life I was meant to live, I can't do anything but kill, because that's what I was made for. I don't know how to do anything else. I mean, I can cook, but that's about it. I was known as Theta because that was the title of the experiment that created me. Attempt Number Theta. You mentioned that you figured we must have a lot of wars for me to know so much. We don't. Sure, there's been a lot, but that's not the reason I know so much. The only reason I know about these things is so that I can use the knowledge in a fight.

And yeah, you don't seem like the type who would kill someone. I guess you could say that it's an acquired taste.

I won't question the 'services' thing, I'm not really in a place to. But I do have a question.

Even with my backstory… can we still be friends?

Don't be ridiculous, your excursus is interesting. (and you are passionate about the subject, therefore good-form)

You asked if people are nice where I'm from, do you mean the general populous of the Yonderside or the pantheon I belong to?

To clarify my understanding, what is a Powerholder? Is it some kind of royalty?

Speaking of royalty, my mother has thrown me out to reconcile (or some such thing), even though I have no Idea where Irius would even be, Gionia's not returning my WW's and Veriviane has told me several times that she has her own affairs (and affairs) to deal with.

At present, I'm sitting on a rivebank, carving this into a rock. Thank Mom there are no humans around!

In your next letter, tell me about your human family or whatever-thing.

Dear Virgil,

In my Universe, a Powerholder is someone who used to be a human, but ate some kinda plant, and gained powers from it. I guess when I asked if people were nice, I meant wherever you are now. Even though, now, I don't think there are any people around, right?

We do have time in the wastelands, we just use different measurements, I believe. We 'ave days here, but then we have Units, which are about 60 days, and then Sec-Units, which is pretty much the same as your year, made up of 60 Units.

I don't really have an actual family anymore, they were killed by Wanderers soon after we arrived in Azalea. But in a way, you could say that all of Azalea is my family now.

Anyway, what's Irius? And also, you have rivers in your Universe? I learned a bit about rivers before, but I've never actually seen one. They're like a canyon, but small and filled with water, right? And the water moves, somehow?

I was wondering something, after reading your letter. I was thinking, what if you could totally come to my dimension and kill someone for me? I doubt I have anything I could pay you in, but I truly wish that you could. Soul's attacks are getting more and more ruthless, it's actually sparking a little fear within my friend group. And hey, of course we can be friends, I need an ally here and there, especially in the times I'm living in. Blast, Abyss might become the universe for me, and I'd hate it. Also, what's a Theta?

Can you describe 'how to make someone artificially' to me? I'd love to know more about it, after all I had relatives who seemed to do that kind of stuff. I grew up completely… whatever the opposite of sheltered is, but I really don't know what that would be. I want to know everything about how you actually work, it's the most interesting thing to me since last year's discovery here. I hope you get this.

I'm not sure how inter-dimensional travel works, but if you could find a way to bring me there, sure, I could kill someone for you. I could even make it look like an accident or frame someone else, if you want.

Theta is a Greek letter. I'm not sure what else to tell you on that. It represents the number eight, but it's a lot more formal.

And as for how I was made, well, I have no idea. I don't think I want to know, either. Some don't consider me human because of this form of creation. There's only one person who understands how I was made, and that's my creator. I'd gladly kill him if given the chance. He ruined my life. Granted, he's the one who gave me life, but that's not what I'm getting at.

When you say it sounds similar to something your relatives did… what do you mean by that? They artificially made people? Do those people need to be saved? Why were they created? Sorry if I seem upset over this, it's because I am. Artificially creating someone is no joke. I've killed men- and woman- for less. It's a pretty big deal.

This might be cool, but I've got a whole search party fighting to find someone with dimensional travel powers. I'm sure we'll snuff them out of their hiding eventually, but it'll take a little. So relieved that we still have contact. The relatives that did something close, well, its more like they brought the dead back to life. In peak form, with no memories. They weren't necessarily human, in my opinion, and I guess it makes a little sense. small writing: I brought a friend back that way.

Then there's the other evil. He actually makes people, they don't even seem real. I'm not even sure if he's real, for that matter. They haven't killed anyone, but their numbers keep growing, and it's scary. I can only imagine what would happen if they were to merge with Ebony Army, oh I'd be dead by daylight.

Um, oh shoot, I have to finish this fast. I'm running out of time, please don't ask why, Zen, everything's okay.

I would like to inform you that you're not allowed to die. I will make my way to your universe, drag your butt out of whatever afterlife you have and yell at you. You're not allowed to die.

I'm working on a way to get to your world as I write. It's probably not going to work, but that won't stop me from trying. When you say 'everything's okay', things have better actually be okay. I swear to the non-existent gods that if you die- well, I already covered that.

Whoever's after you, describe them to me. What they look like, how they hold themselves, send me a picture if you can. I should be able to figure out a weakness. Take your time replying, if you have to. But if I don't receive a response within the next two weeks, I will assume you've died and start attempting to learn necromancy for when I go drag you out of your afterlife.

I apologize for the short letter. It's Soul. He's got black hair, and these glowing, dark pink eyes. He's coming at me with a lot of people, Zen, and it's awfully scary. I'm at a sanctuary, with a lot of others. They're protecting me. Oh, and they want to say hi, so that's that. Remember when I said there were a lot of butterflies around whenever something bad's gonna happen? There seem to be a little less than before, if it's any bit reassuring. And an update : We might have found a dimensional traveler. Your way might work better, though. Thanks for keeping me safe, ish.

Dear Sorrel,

Reminder that you're not allowed to die. What are Soul's powers? I think I found a way to send items across, not people. But that should be enough. See, my power is healing. My blood carries the same properties. If you put it on any injury, it'll heal in seconds. Well, it'll heal almost anything. Can't do much for DNA-based diseases. But my point stands. In order to get it to you, I'm going to need the name of your planet and the exact coordinates that you're at. Don't mind the bloodstains on the bottles, it's because I hate needles and I just cut open my arms to get samples.

What are Soul's powers? Maybe I can derive a weakness based off of them.

Soul looses focus when it comes to someone prominently standing out. That might help. He's able to touch things and just… melt them. It's super disgusting and the last time I watched it happen I fainted. Your blood is so cool! So you like… cut your arm to heal people? What would happen if you were gravely injured? Does your blood heal you, too?

My coordinates are X:### Y:### Z:###. Please don't leak them to the evils in your world, I trust you and I hope you keep them to yourself. It's planet Curin! Thanks for your assistance. To answer your question, Irius would be my husband, I think I mentioned him in my first letter. Although, we are not speaking of late…
The other two names I mentioned In my last letter are my daughters. I have three: Veriviane, Gionia And Axphion. Axphion and I are on good terms, but alas, she's on a pilgrimage in the middle east.

Enough about me though, What is your camp-family like? Are they insufferable as my siblings?

Yeah, Ms. Blake is correct. The battle's ended, we're still counting our dead. As of now, we've found about three, but about fifteen more are missing.

Anyway, you mentioned a middle east. What's that? Is it a place? My camp-family are mostly great people. There are a few kids, I take care of one of 'em. A few are just plain jerks, but the rest of them are great. I hope your husband starts talking to you again.

Are your daughters nice? How old are they? You mentioned siblings. What are they like? How many gods are there in your Universe? And can you actually send a river?

Great to meet you, wherever you're from! My name's Jomei. I'm a guy, I'm fifteen, and I live with my sister and my parents. I work in a factory on Earth, but my parents are Kirichons, they just want me to get a job. I love plants, even though they're rare on Earth, unless you're a farmer. I'd like to be a farmer. You get more food than anyone else, and the pay is better than most.
