Her eyes flickered, then she punched him square in the jaw. It felt like steel had hit him.

"STOP!"
Clove did, indeed, stop, but didn't break her stare from Runner.
"We don't have time for the battle of the idiots. Let's just keep walking and try not to kill each other yet." She scowled but secretly hoped they wouldn't hate her for telling them to stop and decide to turn on her.
As she was the one paying her, Clove strode back over to (I forgot her name, sorry), picking up the broken javelin. "Hm." She lit another cigarette since she lost her other one again, inhaling deeply.
"Why do you smoke so much?" Athena asked, well aware she was being rude.
"Because I do," she said, releasing the smoke.
(well, Runner went MIA)
((he a dead boi
((lmao
He nearly lunged at Clove, but knew Athena would throw a fit and stopped.. "I think that the spell as done something to your friends. That's why you can't find them. They're just lost in the crowd."
"Likely." Clove said. She hooked the javelin pieces to her belt. The Temple will fix this. Idiot boy. He needs to control his emotions.
Clove stalked ahead of the group. "I find Temple. Guide you when done." She popped her earbuds back in and headed off into the forest alone.
He turned to Athena. "Do not blame this on me. It's not my fault she went psycho and tried to stab me." He rubbed his jaw slightly and watched her go. "I'm going to kill her."
((She's got a metal arm… It's hidden under her coat but she also has artificial skin over it))
((Imao I wasn't told
((That was where I was gonna introduce it))
"I'm gonna blow that temple straight to hell, too."
The forest rumbled at the words, trees popping and groaning in answer.
Clove heard its warning. In Runic, she said, "I know. I'm coming. Lead me." The forest opened a path to the Temple, recognizing her as one of its few remaining caretakers. It hid her from the others.
"Lead the way," Athena sighed. Might as well get this over with.
Eve, having ignored everything up to this point decided she was quite bored. Joining their conversation might help, although it might strain her patience. Sighing, she turned her back to her companions, examining the area around them while they walked.
The forest quickly led Clove to the Temple, altering itself to hasten her arrival. A young man was already there, sitting on the bottom of the staircase while cleaning his double sided battle ax. He flicked his arctic blue eyes up at Clove's arrival, then smiled. "Clover. Long time no see. How've you been?" he exclaimed in Russian.
Clove returned his smile with a rare one of hers. "Hero!" She shrugged and sat next to him. "I've had good days and bad days. Today's not looking like a good day."
Hero nodded. "Yeah. The Temple's been seized. Whoever's in it has trapped people here to feed off their energy."
"He's trying to activate the Runes," Clove guessed. Hero nodded.
Clove inhaled her cigarette, and the Runes carved around the Temple grew clearer. Hero watched her and crooked his fingers at her. "Gimme. I ran out."
Clove sighed, releasing the smoke, and pulled out an extra box for him. "Figures. You go through these things faster than I do."
He grinned, lighting one and bringing it to his lips. "Hey, at least I don't have a boring life."
She snorted and didn't comment. "There's a demon prince in the premise. He seeks to destroy the Temple. And me."
Hero frowned at the news. "Hmm. Did you provoke him?"
She scowled. "No!"
He smiled. "Sure you didn't," then ruffled her hair. "Aw. You shaved half of it? But I liked it…"
She swatted his hand away. "I like it like this. Fuck off."
Hero shrugged. "Anyway. I don't think this prince will be an issue. He might make threats, but he wouldn't have been able to enter the forest if he was a true threat. Just don't. Provoke. Him!" He poked her with each word to enunciate his point. She hissed at him and shoved him away, getting up.
"I'll get the others, then. See you in a bit."
Hero waved. "See ya!"
((Let's be honest, Runner is pretty harmless. Even with Tega's memories, he's still got that goofiness that'll prevent him from doing anything too drastic
"Maybe Runner provoked him," Athena joked in Russian, hoping Runner wouldn't understand and kill her
