(yeah, at the moment we have three people trapped in a room with a robot cat and nobody knows why…)
The cat scanned the two people on the floor.
"No permanent injuries detected" the cat said
"Are there… nonpermanent injuries? Are you two all right? I know some first aid…" Anna looked vaguely concerned.
"I'm okay. Just confused."
Lacie nodded holding her arm.
"Ok then. So… No injuries, nothing permanent, and you're both confused." She looked at both of them, and the cat, for confirmation.
The cat nodded at anna and turned back to the conversatin
Danny wandered over to another tank and opened it. He screamed. "It's dead! She's dead!"
Anna leapt to her feet and ran over to him. "Danny, what is it?"
He pointed. "The girl in there. Her oxygen mask is disconnected and… and…"
"Quick, open the rest of the tanks!" Anna ran over to the girl and pulled her out, feeling her wrist for a pulse.
The cat cocked his head at the boy. "Not everyone in the tank will be alive."
"What do you mean, not everyone? How do you know?" Her face fell as she couldn't feel a pulse.
"The people here aren't good people," the cat shook his head
"What do you mean?" She looked over at Danny thoughtfully.
"The reason you are all here is classified but I can tell you the people who run this place don't have good intentions" The cat flicked his tail
Another child tumbled out of a tank nearby sputtering.
"Hi! I'm Danny. These are…well… I'm not sure."
Anna turned around and ran over. "Are you ok?"
"Oh." Anna looked at Danny. "I'm Anna."
The boy stayed quiet, gasping for air. He stood up and stared at the boy named Danny and the lady
"This is Anna," Danny said, as if it needed to be clarified
The robot cat walked forward. "You should get to know about each other. Your time here is limited."
