"Sure, if you think it's safe enough." She caught the eagerness in Tessa's eyes. (I have to go and it will be a looooong time until I'm back sorry)
"Sure, if you think it's safe enough." She caught the eagerness in Tessa's eyes. (I have to go and it will be a looooong time until I'm back sorry)
“Can I go with you if you do?” Tristan pleaded looking up at her.
"It must be a human," Danny said thoughtfully. "Which means we can fake our own deaths, bribe him, or successfully escape."
"I want to go too."
"We might need them if we wanna find a pattern in the trials." Lacie said.
“If there’s something with small spaces, traps, or parkour, count on me to do pretty okay.” Tristan said to Lacie
Tess got up, refusing to meet the two kids' pleading faces. "Sorry, but I'd better do this alone." I really need to punch something right now. Or someone. Someone would be ideal. She jumped up the vent without another word, violence gleaming in her eyes.
"Plants," Danny said, frustrated. He didn't think he was going to be much help, and he was beginning to wonder why he was here.
"Tess, don't hurt anyone."
Tristan huffed and crossed his arms, clearly annoyed.
"We can stay here and talk strategy," he told Tristan, but he was disappointed too.
“Okay…” Tristan agreed scooting closer to Danny
Lacie smiled at the two boys. "At least people are starting to get along," she said quietly.
Tessa stalked through the vents, retracing her steps back to the files. Only out of habit did she stay quiet. Any other time, she would have been blasting her way through without a care in the world who heard.
Tristan smiled at Lacie, “Hopefully we can all be friends after this is all over.” He said though his mind was filled with severe doubt
Lacie didn't know he heard her so she kinda just gave a weak smile and nodded.
"Well, no offense, but when I get out of here, I'm going straight home and never leaving again."
“I’ll go where I can, probably to the forest.” Tristan said.
Tessa heard all of this through the vents, but had nothing to say about it. All that was on her mind was finding the files and kicking someone's ass.
"I'll go home back to my sweet lil pupper." Lacie smiled holding her legs.
“What’s her name?” Tristan asked, cocking his head slightly.
(Lulu…….????)
Tessa found the room, checked to make sure no one was there, then thought better of it and continued onward. Don't need blood on them. She followed the sounds of voices farther ahead. Her heard pounded excitedly in preparation for a fight.
"You should get a cat and teach it to play fetch. Then you basically have a puppy that poops in a box."
(Yes my sweet little Lucy)
"It's Lucy!" Lacie said.
Lacie laughed.
