“Hey put me down!” Tristan screeched, “Stop hurting her!!” He swung his fists and feet, managing to hit the guy in the face so he could escape. He knocked him out and started attacking the guy who had Tess, “I’ll save you Tess! Stupid nasty brute!”
No one had seen Danny and he punched the guy holding Tess in the back. He was sufficiently distracted.
Tristan got in front of Tess before the guy attacking her could land another blow.
She snarled as more men appeared. Dammit. I didn't think this through. No wonder Cin has me on a short leash. The scales turned to dragonic limbs, wings flaring from her shoulders and smacking into the men. A spiked tail lashed out, slamming into the charging men as she let out a roar of defiance. She didn't need fire to win this fight. She was a weapon in her own right.
Danny glared and the guy started to sprout grass on his head. It was amusing, but didn't do anything.
Tristan jumped back from Tess, fear in his eyes, “Wh-What the—?”
She snarled again, eyes turning to slits. She could barely tell friend from foe, but she had an idea. Big, bulky dudes: bad. Small boys: good.
Then men pulled out guns, shooting at her. The bullets bounced harmlessly off her scales. She charged at them, claws at the ready to shred them into pieces.
Tristan huddled in the corner terrified by the magic and whatever Tess had become.
Danny moved to stand by Tristan, and a cage of vines sprouted, with big enough holes that they could see through to what was happening. He looked very impressed with himself, and couldn't help a terrified grin.
((and by cage I mean protective wall of sorts
Tristan became very scared, as he had just been trapped by someone he thought was his friend, “was I wrong? Whats happening?” He thought.
"ahh no, it's just to protect us," Danny tried to explain. "I don't think they'll be able to get through."
Suddenly, Tessa froze and screamed as she was electrocuted from behind. She fell to her knees, breathing heavily. A man in a lab coat held a taser. "Shame. I would love to see your capabilities, dear demigod, but I'm afraid that will have to wait until my trials." Tessa snarled again, starting to get up, but the man pulled out another taser and shot her again, successfully bringing her to unconsciousness. He turned to the two boys, then flicked a bored hand at one of his bodyguards. "Bring them all back to their room. Unharmed, of course." He glanced back at Tessa's body. "She, on the other hand, can be harmed. I know full well she can't be killed. Be as forceful as you want with this one." Then he left.
Then men stalked towards the boys, picking them up and ignoring their kicking and screaming. Two others picked up Tess's heavy body, practically dragging her across the floor and through the halls.
Tristan nodded still scared
Danny reached for Tess. If he could reach her, he had an idea. He couldn't reach her. It would have to wait until they got back.
Tristan screamed and started crying, “NO NO NOT LIKE BEFORE!”
They were brought back to the room they were originally in, unceremoniously dumping Tessa on the floor–letting her wings twist under her weight–and gently setting the two boys next to her.
Danny hugged Tristan, hoping to comfort him. He cautiously put a hand on Tessa's arm. It began to glow faintly, but didn't do anything. Darn. There went that idea.
((Arm…? Idk
(She has dragon-like legs, wings, horns, and tail. Her Arms are just covered in a lot of armor-like scales and her hands are basically claws. I know, weird, but she's only half-shifted. Her real dragon form is way to big to fit in this facility)
Tessa's wounds already began to heal, though she didn't wake up. Said wounds leaked a thick, golden liquid before sealing shut, as if they never existed.
((I have to go for a bit because apparently sleep is a thing
Lacie hopped down from the vent
Tristan buried his face in his hands.
"It's all gonna be ok. I promise." she told empty lies stroking the boys hair
