Tessa suddenly arched her back, sucking in a huge breath and freeing her trapped wings. Her body still trembled from the volts of electricity, but she was otherwise okay.
Tessa suddenly arched her back, sucking in a huge breath and freeing her trapped wings. Her body still trembled from the volts of electricity, but she was otherwise okay.
"Lies so many lies."
Lacie hurried over to Tessa
((I gotta go. Be back on tomorrow))
(Bye Bye)
"Tristan are you okay?" Danny frowned at him.
As Lacie comforted Tess, she turned towards the young boy in worry.
Tristan broke from the weird state of thought he was in and forced a smile, "I'm fine…"
Tessa's eyes shot open and her instincts kicked in before her senses. She lashed out at Lacie, grabbing her and pinning her beneath Tessa. Her breathing was heavy and her eyes were wide and wild–afraid. She didn't harm Lacie, but she didn't let go either, like she didn't know what was going on.
"Tess?" Danny sounded scared.
Tristan just started shaking, confused and scared, his blue eyes giving off a bright glow, the pupils growing smaller.
"Tess…" Lacie didn't move. She wanted to help her.
Tess suddenly pushed off and scrambled away from the group, dragon features slowly fading away in flames. She frantically turned on her earpieces, and they immediately started playing music to ground her, to push back the bloodlust of the beast under her skin.
She closed her eyes and pulled her knees tight to her chest. "I'm sorry…" she whispered.
Lacie got up and slowly walked toward Tess. "No. It's ok," she said softly trying not to scare her.
Tristan stared, staying completely silent, small wisps of smoke coming off him, his eyes growing an amber color with slitted pupils.
Tess kicked herself away from Lacie. "No! Stay away! I… I'm not safe." The music blaring into her ears helped calm the raging beast, but she was still trembling with the effort to keep it down. How she took the presence of Cinthia and her friends for granted…
Tristan gave a small sigh of realization of what was happening to him as the smoke billowed around.
Lacie put her hand on Tess' shoulder. "It's ok." she whispered softly
Tessa looked away, but didn't move back. "I put you all in danger and didn't get the files. I got into a fight when you warned me not to. I'm just one big red flag."
She thought about a similar conversation she had with Cinthia, when they had first met and joined forces against the demon invasion.
"No one is perfect." Lacie began softly stroking her hair
Tessa's face tightened at the action, but didn't pull away. "The sooner these tests are over with, the sooner I'm going back to Clojiynn. I'll even do my damned studies just to leave."
Lacie nodded and continued to try and calm her down
There was a poof where Tristan was and in the next moment there was a fluffy orange and white Maine Coone sitting on the floor grooming himself.
Tessa leaned over and blinked at the Main Coone that was Tristan. "Uh…?"
Tristan waved his tail, "Hi. This is normal, don't ask, please."
