"What's that?" Tristan pointed at the fox
"What's that?" Tristan pointed at the fox
"Fine. You're probably right. I think that cotgx is waiting for something."
"Its… So… Cute!" She held back a huge grin and tightened her grip on Furball. "Wait, is that super rude?"
Tristan frowned and stared at the mysterious creature.
Tessa couldn't hold in her laugh. "No. It's fine. That's Moko, Cinthia's Orza demon familiar." She waved at Moko, who bobbed his head in greeting. "Hey, bud, can you find the files and bring as many as you can back here? If you want, more than one trip is fine."
Moko stood and hopped into a slice of shadow, disappearing.
"you have the cutest friends. so, now we have files. How many of you, besides Tess, like fighting stuff?"
"I'm vegan," he said, as if that would explain his fighting preferences.
"Right…" Anna nodded, looking at him carefully. "So… you don't like fighting."
"No. I'll do it, but if it can be avoided, I will. Unless someone's in danger." He glanced over at Tristan and Tessa. "And I don't kill, either. Anyone."
"That's probably a good thing. Killing scars you."
"I can fight," Tristan mumbled slamming his bronze knuckles into the wall, his eyes flashed, "I don't like killing people, but I've done it."
Anna nodded, looking at him with a new respect.
Tessa sighed, resting her head against the wall. "If only at least one of my friends were here. I'll even take Frosty!"
"If my sister was here, she'd have blown up this whole compound ages ago…" Danny looked down sadly. He had no idea where she was and wanted desperately to find her, all of them.
"I would be able to if I had spent more time out in the sun before getting kidnapped."
"It's ok. It's just us, and we're stuck with what we have, but it will be enough. Don't worry too much."
Just then, the door opened and several large men came in, along with one in a white lab coat.
Tessa tensed at seeing the one in the lab coat, but managed to keep her cool this time.
Danny tensed, and wasn't sure whether to feel relieved or disappointed. Neither of them men were his brother. On one hand, it meant they stood a chance, but on the other, his sisters weren't likely to be here.
Enderstorm thrust her way out of the tank, shifting into a dragon to do so, ripping the tank apart. She stared sheepishly at the tank, backing away slowly.
Danny whirled to face the noise. He tried to silently warn the dragon that this was not the time. Being 11, however, he didn't think he did a very good job. But they didn't have time for introductions, and they would just have to assume this was a friend.
Enderstorm looks around her, searching for Foxchild.
“Where is he?” She mutters under her breath, still in dragon form.
Tessa doesn't take her eyes off a spot behind the men. There, Moko had formed a pile of files for the group in the opening of the vent.
Enderstorm finally realized where she was.
“Who are you?” She speaks fearfully, despite probably being able to take down most of the people in the room.
Lacie turned her head to the newly found person
